To be honest, I'm both a lot thrilled and a little nervous.
I "found" Sherri's place via Jeannie's Happy World when Jeannie posted about Tyson Serles, the soldier you see on the top of the side bar and I have been enjoying Sherri's "variety show". Her blog is a like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.
I'd like to think mine is too.
As an over-educated multi-lettered professional, I know I drive my parents and some of my friends to distraction with my enjoyment of Spongebob Squarepants but I hope you will bear with me. There is some great wisdom to be gleamed from the hilarity.
Spongebob: Today’s the big day, Gary!
Gary: Meow!
Spongebob: Look at me! I’m naked! Gotta be in top physical condition for today, Gary.
Gary: Meow!
Spongebob: I’m ready! (runs out of house and on to the Krusty Krab) I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m ready. I'm ready.
Patrick: Go Spongebob!
Spongebob: There it is. The finest eating establishment ever established for eating. The Krusty Krab: Home of the Krabby Patty. With a ‘Help Wanted’ sign in the window! For years I’ve been dreaming of this moment! I’m gonna go in there, march straight to the manager, look ‘em straight in the eye, lay it on the line and...I can’t do this! (runs back but runs into Patrick) Patrick!
Patrick: Where do you think you’re going?
Spongebob: I was just...
Patrick: No you’re not. You’re going to the Krusty Krab and get that job!
Spongebob: I can’t, don’t you see? I’m not good enough!
Patrick: Who’s first words were, 'May I take your order?'
Spongebob: Mine were.
Patrick: Who made a spatula out of toothpicks in wood shop?
Spongebob: I did.
Patrick: Who’s a...(thinks hard)...uhh...who’s...who’s a big yellow cube with holes?
Spongebob: I am!
Patrick: Who’s ready?
Spongebob: I’m ready!
Patrick: Who’s ready?
Spongebob: I’m ready!
Patrick: Who’s ready?
Spongebob: I’m ready!!

You're up and running!
And I love Sponge BOB!
Congrats on being featured!
*sends a big hug*
Thanks to you, I no longer cringe when my grandchildren want to watch Sponge Bob. Instead I sit down and watch with them and am amazed at how I missed the messages all these years! Congrats on being featured. You're ready!
I'M READY!!!
Going over for a visit now!

love your writing and your pictures!
betty
smiles and goes over to see the blog that has featured one of the most incredible people I have ever met!
IG, I might have to officially stop following. SB and I don't have a good history together.....and now that I know you are such good friends with him...well.....EEK.
I do wish you lots of luck today though...I'll peek over there, but that might be IT. No more since you and SB...are....well...friends.
How funny! Congratulations.
I love you my friend but you are in need of some serious mental health..
I have never met Mr. Bob. If I ever do happen to run across him in the future, I will automatically think of you-hehe! And I promise will listen for the SB lessons and words of wisdom. :)
Congrats!
What is it with men and Spongebob? My husband loves the show but I find it irritating. I can watch it for five minutes and then I'm all, "Please can I change the channel," and my son and husband say in unison, "NO!"
:)
Too funny!
Congrats to you. Sending my best from Seattle and I will go check it out.
It's amazing what you can get out of a cartoon isn't it?
I, personally, was quite suprised that sponges don't get colds, they get the suds.
Great job! Congrats on being featured.
Spongebob does have some great messages under all of that craziness! We watch it many evenings while eating dinner!
I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!
Eh Squidward? Eh Squidward? Eh Squidward?
Is it free day, so Spongebob can steal another balloon?
I hope he's keeping Mr. Krabs away from the giant oyster and her baby.
HUGS
