These are some of the things we did.
Made the mold with playdoh and an old brooch - then poured utee in from melt pot - finished off by adding a bit of perfect pearls.
Stamped image on to wood and using Sams fancy new machine (I NEED one) burnt in to the wood around the image then made a fancy border - finished off by coating with ageing varnish and a bit of gold leaf.
Ages since I had my encaustic art out so took the opportunity to give it an airing today.
We had a wonderful day and hope to do it again sometime soon

Ohhh Hilda you sure have had some fun !! All those great techniques to play with ... wish i could lol. I am hoping to get some encaustics this year. I love the burned image its gorgeous .. well they all are but thats just sooo different
