Framed Hanging

I decided to make a frame for my haging - I used Foil Tape and embossing folders - wiped over with black gesso

I used Acrylics and stencils to create my banner on a crackled background for a swap I'm hosting on the Lotstodo Forum.

I created my crackled background with Acrylics and PVA - I then added more colour by painting through serviettes and sequin waste. I used my Rollagraph Typewriter stamp and gesso to add some texture I painted my lettering with acrylics through stencils and then put on some rub ons. I finished off by adding a couple of bits and pieces and using my crop o dile added eyelets which I threaded cord through

I covered some mountboard with various materials and then added some RikRak and fancy edging. I then added some grungeboard that I had put through my bigshot with an embossing folder and inked. I stitched my main image (Dezinaworld) on to another piece of material which I frayed. I finished off by adding the inked and stamped scroll (Crafty Individuals) and then attached some lace as a hanger and to the bottom as a border.

Hanging thingy !!

I made this hanger for Alison - I took all the hardware off it and then painted it with black gesso - I added some silver rub n buff. I then stamped my images - Hampton Arts - heat embossed them and then went over them with brayer and walnut ink I then put it all back together - Alison has received it now and says she loves it

Compendium of Curiosities week 14

I used Tims dies to cut out the pieces for my hanging thingy !!I then used the technique on page 58 of Tims Compendium of Curiosities to create my background with masks and Distress inks. I then added my images and book plates and finished off with my butterfly attached with silicone glue and my wording. I attached all the pieces to each other with jump rings and finally added the whole piece to a piece of twig to give it some strength

Lotstodo Challenge Fairies

I created my background with Mica Flakes. Stamped my image on to patterned card stock and then cut it into 4 before adding iot. I added some lace along the bottom and set eyelets with my cropodile before attaching the chain with jump rings

Week 31 Ribbon and or Lace

I created my background with distress inks through mesh. I then added my image which I had mounted I put some holes in and set the eylets with my Cropodile after adding the lace and ribbon. I finished it off with the word friend whish I had printed out on to safmat

Lotstodo Challenge Shapes

I used cardboard for my background - I dampened and peeled away some of the top paper and put on a coat of White Gesso. I then added some Burnt Umber Acrylic and some Pool Acrylic Dabber. I added various pieces cut with dies through the Big Shot. I did some stamping on to card inked them and then added them. The embellishment on the RH side was made with Black UTEE in my melt pot stamped and then added gold and blue perfect pearls. My hanger is from a pack of socks I got at Asda lol!!!

Week 28 In Stitches

My background was created out of cardboard - I cut the circle around a plate, tore off some of the paper and then used Acrylic Dabbers for color. The next circle is the piece that you tear off when you open one of those big tins of coffee !! I run it through my big shot using one of Tims new Embossing Folders I then coloured it with Alcohol Inks. My image was from a magazine I used Brasso to take away the surrounding picture and writing - this works really well - give it a go !!! I attached my image with my sewing machine to a black piece of cardstock which I had also run through Big Shot in an embossing folder and then inked. I mounted all my pieces together and then added my little hanger

Week 25 Architecture

My background was created with the shaving foam technique and then over stamped with a background stamp. My image Paper Artsy was stamped on to a seperate card and heat embossed. The quotation was stamped and aged with distress in Vintage Photo. I finished it off by adding the hanger

Mixed Media - Something Old

I tore some of the facing off a piece of cardboard then created my background with Adirodack Dabbers - Black, Lettuce and Sunshine Yellow. I put some Faber Granite panit on the RH corner with a spatula and scattered on some bedazzles.
I added a piece of muslin and then my Postcard (Dated 1914!!!)I then added a piece that I'd made in my melt pot on Saturday and a grungeboard swirl. I finished off by adding the hanger that had come with my new socks !!!!

Week 24 - Quotes

The background for my hanging was created with the Shaving Foam Technique - I added my image and quote and then finished off by adding lace and setting my eyelets through which I threaded some Rafia

Sunday Stamper - Numbers/Lotstodo Swap

My piece was done on mountboard - I created the background with Adirondack Colour wash Lettuce, Butterscotch and TerraCotta and a Tim Holtz mask.

My tiles were inked and then stamped before heat embossing with clear embossing powder and versamark ink - they were finished off by edging with copper Krylon pen.

The hinge is grungeboard inked and then heat embossed - the brads were bashed with a Tim Holtz hammer before colouring.

The key was inked and overstamped and then I wrapped wire around it.

I added a clock face to one of my tiles and inked and overstamped the little mountboard houses.

The number ONE is a Tim Holtz Salvage Sticker on mountboard and again finished with copper Krylon Pen

I finished the piece by setting eyelets with my cropodile and making a wire hanger

Crazy Amigos - friends

The background on my postcard was created with a stamping wheel. I added my image some stick on border and then my lace. I finished off with some ribbon, my word which was printed on safmat and then set eyelets with my cropodile through which I threaded ribbon

Tuesday Taggers - texture

The background of my piece is cork - the suitcase is stamped into air dry clay. I stamped and heat embossed my Paris stamp before adding a little colour. The little image is set into the back of an old brooch which I had added some text paper to and then covered with Glossy Accents. The hinge has been painted,embossed and heated until it bubbled. To finish off I added a couple of tickets and my word before setting the eyelet with my cropodile
