Page 8 Vintage Journey

I tore some of Tims background paper inked it and added it to my page. I then inked the rest of the card and the outside with Tumbled Glass DI. I created the side pattern with Tims white and black Enamel Accents - this took an age to dry !!! I did some random stamping with Stazon. I then stamped my suitcase on to seperate card inked it, cut it out and attached with foam squares. My friend Gail gave me the ticket - the tag was from a packet of grunge paper - I inked it and then added the numbers which I had cut using Tims Vintage Market die

My pages are all finished now. I've really enjoyed doing them and can't wait for Heather to come up with the next project

Page 7 I Dreamed a Dream

I used Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey to create my background I then used my Tapestry stamps to create a pattern around the outer edge. My main image - Paper Artsy - was stamped and heat embossed I then added my pebble dream stamp - the croen and the little heart that Id made in my melt pot. The wording list was stamped on to seperate mountboard and added with foam squares

Grungy Page 9 Take Flight

For this page I created my bacground with Spiced and Dried Marmalade DI. I then stamped with a Penny Black stamp using momento inks. The bird and cage were cut with Tims Alterations Dies and my Bigshot I then used Weathered Wood and Walnut stain and the Rusted Enamel Technique on them. The words were done on my Dymo and then distressed. I finished off by adding 2 little charm butterflies and threading raffia through the cage.

Grungy Page 4 Its Only Words

I used the Peeled paper technique for the background and rolled the edges of the paper I then inked with Vintage Photo and Rusty Hinge DI. I put some Crackle paint down the LH side and then when dry rubbed on some Walnut stain to show the cracks. I stamped the quote (Tim Holtz) with Black Soot DI and then went all around the page using the same ink and my pen stamp. The little dominoe was stamped on inked with Alcohol Inks and then covered with glossy accents before edging with Krylon. The image and word were enclosed in Memory Glass and then dipped in Black UTEE in my melt pot. I finished off by adding the word ART.

Grungy page 6 C of C week 10

This is my 6th page for the grungy book swap I'm in being hosted by Heather Fenn Edwards.

I inked my page with Pine needles and shabby shutters distress ink using one of Tims small flourish masks. The hinge from Tims Hardware Findings Alterations die was cut from grungeboard and then covered with Vintage Phots Distress Stickles. The Flourish was covered with Spiced Marmalade Distress Stickles. My main Image (Inkadinkado) was stamped on to mountboard and heat embossed with Distressed Embossing Powder before inking with Pine Needles DI. To finish my page off I added some press studs and one of Tims metal plates. I like this page - its a pity really that the pics don't do it justice.

Week 10 of the Compendium of Curiosities challenge at Stdio L3 is to use Distress Stickles - I've used them twice on my project.

Page 5 of gungy book

the title for this page "Ghost in the machine" had me baffled so I hope its ok !!! I used a Tim Holtz web mask and distress inks for the background. I cut out the Hanging sign and my image (Dezinaworld) using my Alterations Die I joined them together with jumprings then attached them with foam pads . I covered the girls face with a square fragment using Glossy Accents. I then cut up some doodads and distressed them before adding them - I finished off by adding the X and inking the edges

I added my text after I had distressed it and the threaded a little heart with fibres and attached with staples

Grungy book page 3 Heavy Metal

This is my 3rd page for the grungy book swap that I'm in. My background was created with Tea Dye Distress ink Water and Rock Salt and Tims barbed Wire mask.

The cogs wre cut from Tim Holtz dies and coloured with dabbers - quite thickly to create texture.

My image was mounted on to a book plate and attached with Glossy Accents

The token from Tims Ideology range was added with a brad.

The key had some wire wrapped around it and then again attached with Glossy Accents

The whole page was distressed using my Making Memories distresser and Pine Needlse distress ink some of which I put through sequin waste and some I stamped with a dotty background stamp

The little locket and key was attached with ribbon via a press stud.

I am delighted to have joined the Grungy Book swap being organised by Heather Fenn Edwards I hope I can do it justice !!! This is my first page with the theme "Time" I used my melt pot - my hot plate and lots of Utee (Black, Gold and festive Berry)and Bedazzles to create my background I also did some stamping into it. The letters are from Tims Salvage Stickers - I mounted them and inked the before adding them with Glossy Accents. The other bits and pieces I've added are all from my bits box.
