Nests of Winter Card #1

This card uses the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set and dies in conjunction with the Nests of Winter paper pack and Crumb Cake card stock.

After coloring the stamped images with Stampin’ Blends, I decided to add the Cherry Cobbler banner accent from the Seasons of Elegance DSP.

Who would you send this card to?

Winterly Tree Tops Card #1

It was really fun to make this card with only White Willow card stock, black ink, and some Stampin' Blends alcohol markers!

Although it looks a bit off-white in the photo, I only used white Willow card stock. I embossed the background panel with the 3-D Birchwood embossing folder.  I used three colors of Stampin' Blends markers to color the birds: Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, and the Bronze and Ivory blend.

I will be featuring this collection at my card and scrapbooking class on 10/20.  Let me know if you'd like an invitation!

The Best Is Yet to Come Card

This card uses the Skylark paper collection and stencil paired with the January stamp of the month, Looking Forward, and its Thin Cuts (die cuts).  (These are only available through the end of the month, so get yours before they're gone!)

The featured colors are Toffee, Lagoon, and Limeade.  (If there's a next time, I won't use the middle green of my TriBlend marker, only the light end.)

Looking Forward Baby Shower Card

Happy New Year!  Last weekend, I had the privilege of Attending a baby shower for a sweet new baby who will make his appearance next month.

I use the new Sweet Memories collection with the January stamp of the month, Looking Forward. That adorable mama Kanga and her baby Roo are from a retired stamp of the month set from last year. I used Tri-Blend Markers to color everything. I’m really grateful for the coordinating Thin Cuts with the January stamp of the month. I did fussy cut mama and baby.

The main colors of this card are Sage and Periwinkle.

May’s Stamp of the Month, Little Stinkers, Card #1

Happy May Day!  Of course Close To My Heart has yet another adorable stamp of the month, Little Stinkers, for May!  This set of 17 stamps features 5 cute skunks, 5 cute sayings, and lots of accent stamps.

My first card uses the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge 604 sketch.  I searched for a color combo at Coolors.co that would compliment the new Hey Handsome collection (Paprika was my main color).  I used Paprika, Nectarine, Honey Butter, Lagoon, Black, and White Daisy cardstock, plus Citrus and Magenta TriBlend markers (with a touch of clear shimmer brush on the flowers- much prettier in real life!).  I used two heart acrylic shapes and a little faux stitching to finish off this quick & easy card.

I decided not to include a sentiment on the inside until I decide who will be getting the card.  I think it's still pretty stinkin' cute, if I do say so myself!  Maybe you will be inspired to create a similar card or to use TSOT 604 yourself.  Please leave a comment before you go.  Learn more about the May stamp of the month, Little Stinkers, HERE!
