S....is for Splicing over at Scrapology this month...and the DT have all had fun cutting and slicing into photo's after being inspired by a super digital layout that was created by Miki Krueger. You can see more of her lovely work here

Here is my layout for the DT.....after binning my first 2 attempts ( I kid you not!!) I gave in and decided to cut a thin slice from several different photos all taken on the same evening at my sister's annual Halloween party ( which also doubles as a birthday party for our lovely Mum). We had a super fun evening with us all dressed up...we had everything from a zombie cheerleader, sugar skull zombies, a ghostly convict and Poison Ivy to a complete zombie family wedding, comprising of the bride and groom, Mother of the bride, 2 page boys and a flower girl!

I added some buttons, bling and a mix of doodlebug alpha stickers and some AC Thickers

Happy Birthday to My Mum and happy halloween to you all!

Hello there....Happy Halloween to you all, I hope you have all had a suitably spooky evening so far.
Today also happens to be my dear Mum's Birthday....so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, you very special and much loved lady...you mean the world to me, Dale and the girls and obviously also to Donna,Ian and the little ones xxxxxxxxx

Well yesterday Donna and Ian held a wicked halloween Birthday party, so i thought I would share a few....actually LOTS of photos with you....so be prepared to be scared....be shocked...be horrified lol, but also be prepared to laugh....cos I think you will...I just hope you won;t be bored with them all......you have been warned!!!

I was strangely attracted to this fella, i just wished he would clean his teeth a bit better....made me feel a bit queasy!

He even scared the young un's!

My Sister made thia super birthday cake for our Mum....and all the little pumpkin biscuits round the bottom too.....delicious!!

Right, thats it ( are you still awake or have your eyeballs dripped into the keyboard lol)....I need to climb the wooden hill and get some sleep....after having a lovely week of lay ins I have to revert to getting up at 3.30am in the morning....booooooooohooooo! But only for one day...then I have the rest of the week to enjoy again he!he!he!

A few bits to share.

Yesterday being Halloween was also my Mum's Birthday and I thought I should really make her a card as I am trying my hand at cardmaking now! I bought some of the Magnolia Halloween stamped images on ebay and set about colouring them in, making a character to signify each of her 4 grandchildren( and as my sister is expecting then the cauldren is for her little one who is still cooking lol!) I used some of the new Basic Grey Eerie papers and also some Bazill cardstock and the end result was this, which I am really pleased with and my Mum absolutely LOVED :) The card when folded up measures 6" x 12" so is quite large but sits nicely when its opened up and stands like an easel.










And these are just a couple of older layouts with and autumny theme or colour.

Hope you are all having a nice Sunday, I am just off to do the ironing....oh deep joy! At least the rain has stopped hammering down outside for a little bit.

Just a quick fly through tonight. Just got home from a halloween birthday party at my Mum and Dad's house. Its my lovely Mum's birthday today and we always ALWAYS have a halloween party for her, normally its held at my Sister's house, but what with one thing and another we decided to have it at our parents house this year instead. We bundled round there earlier today and put up decs everywhere, took along pumpkin lanterns and giant cobwebs and spiders and then came home again. We changed into our costumes and then invaded them again dressed as witches, pumpkins, funky fairies, pussy cats and scary skeletons. For birthday tea we have had some delish jacket spuds, homemade chilli ( my sisters) and all the trimmings followed by cupcakes, birthday cake and other goodies. Unfortunately I have just remembered that sitting in their fridge is a giant choccy gateaux and some profiteroles that I totally forgot were there, so I guess a visit down there will be on the cards for tomorrow he!he!he!
