Happy Wednesday everyone! I just can't believe we're already in the middle of this week. Although I'm sort of glad since the weather has been rainy and cold so far and won't warm up or clear up until Friday. So the quicker we get through it the better.
Today is also the start of a new Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge with Bugaboo Stamps as the sponsor. Well my Bugaboo image today sort ties this all together - I picked this adorable image because it just seemed perfect with all the rain we've had here this Spring.
As I mentioned, Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and the Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive a prize of 7 Bugaboo stamps that value $21. Now that's a terrific prize! To qualify, just create a card using the sketch and be sure to comment on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge blog too.
Here's the fun sketch this week created by our own Arlana Patten. You'll have a great time creating with this one! It's sketch #99 - we're almost to the magical number 100 - YAY!
Mark your calendars for the start of our celebration of 100 sketches at Sweet Sketch Wednesday which starts next week on May 4. We're planning a fun blog hop with prizes to mark this wonderful milestone and we want all of our followers to be part of the celebration.
For this week's week challenge card I used the wonderful papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Salt Air" collection. I thought the color combination was a fun one - mostly yellow, rusty red with a surprise pop of blue. The adorable Bugaboo image I used is called "Rain Rain" from the Rainy Day Bears collection and you can find it HERE at the Bugaboo Stamps store.
Now be sure to stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the challenge rules and all the terrific cards the design team created using Bugaboo Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm entering this card in Bugaboo's Catch the Bug challenge blog where the theme is "Singing in the Rain" this week.

Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow
Oh thank heavens it's the weekend! I'm looking forward to chilling out and getting caught up with all my crafting after such a busy work week. I can't think of a better way to start the weekend than a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow!
This week we're challenging you to create a vintage card that is in a monochromatic color scheme. We'd love it if you used Sugar Creek Hollow images that you can find in the SCH Shoppe.
My card was created using the April Sweet Pea image from the Sugar Creek Hollow "Flowers of the Month" series. I used all shades of aqua on my card and colored the image using Copics. Some Crystal Stickles were added to the flowers to make the image stand out. I've used Cosmo Cricket and Webster Pages DP and some wonderful dies from My Favorite Things Die-namics collection.
Be sure to visit the Sugar Creek Hollow blog to see the rest of the design team inspiration for this challenge and I do hope you'll find some time to enter a card and play along with us this week.

Life is Good at By LORi Designs
It's Thursday and "life is good" here in Michigan! Temperatures are warming up (finally) and we've been seeing the sun ever more each day. Today is also the start of a new color challenge at By LORi Designs and it's a great combination certain to lighten your spirits as well!
The challenge colors are: Tangerine Tango, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron and Baja Breeze. They're fun, bright and sunny colors together. I just love this combination.
My card features "Cole" from the Puddle Jumpers collection at By LORi Designs, all colored up with Copic markers. I've used papers from Cosmo Cricket's "Social Club" collection which match the challenge colors to a tee!
I've followed the sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop, SSS103 for my card design. This is another terrific sketch that is so interesting whether you use designer papers or plain cardstock. I'm entering this card in that SSS103 challenge this week.
Now be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs challenge blog and see the wonderful cards created by the design team - I know you'll find their work inspirational. And I hope you'll join us in the BLD challenge too.

Sugar Creek Hollow Blog Hop and Prizes!
Welcome to the celebration of the Sugar Creek Hollow Anniversary! Not only are we introducing a new challenge this week, but we're also having a Blog Hop today with lots of prizes to win on each designer's blogs and all-new digi stamps being introduced. If you arrived here from Heide's blog you're on track. If not you can start at the Sugar Creek Hollow Blog to stay in the right queue or follow the list of the designers blogs toward the end of this post.
So to get started, I'm introducing the new digi from Sugar Creek Hollow called "Dressmaker's Form".
This vintage looking image is perfect for all occasions including Mother's Day this year. I've combined it with papers from Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" and October Afternoon's "Thrift Shop". The scissors are another Sugar Creek Hollow image called "Dressmaker Shears".
Our new challenge this week is "ANYTHING GOES" so create a card any way you'd like and enter it in the challenge!
Today, in addition to announcing our weekly challenge, we are having a Blog Hop at Sugar Creek Hollow as part of our first anniversary celebrations. All the designers have a giveaway for a winner chosen randomly from the people who leave comments on their blogs. There will be a grand prize winner chosen from the people who leave a comment on the Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge Blog.
The Sugar Creek Hollow Blog Hop will run in conjunction with the challenge from today Saturday, March 19th until 12:00 midnight ET on Friday, March 25th. Winners will be announced on each designer's blog and the Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge Blog on March 26th.
WIN THIS BLOG CANDY PACKAGE HERE ON MY BLOG!
Here's what I'm giving away to some lucky crafter - quite a package that includes two 6x6 designer paper pads each with coordinating embellishments, two clear acrylic stamp sets that are newly released, Flower Soft and other wonderful embellishments. I selected and purchased these from Archivers - just the kind of things that I would love to use. So if you like my work, you'll love this blog candy package.
To be eligible for my giveaway you must leave me a comment telling me which stamp in the Sugar Creek Hollow Shoppe is your favorite. While I don't require you to follow me to win, it sure would be wonderful if you did. In fact, I'll automatically add your name a second time in the random draw if you do follow me - that gives you an additional chance to win. In addition, if you'd like you can tell me what types of stamps you might want to see added to the Sugar Creek Hollow line of digis. Don’t forget to leave a contact email in case you are the winner on my blog. I'll announce the random winner next Saturday, March 26.
Sharon (you are here)
I look forward to hearing your comments and hopefully seeing your creation entered into the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge.
Have fun and thanks for stopping by!
I'm entering this card in the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge #85 for the sketch I followed in creating my card today. Here is the sketch (I flipped it for my card):

StampFairy Challenge - Show Us The Green!
Happy Monday! We're starting another challenge at StampFairy and this week we're challenging you to go GREEN! Yep, create a card or project that uses green (a lot) and you'll fit right into this challenge! Of course lots of us are doing that in celebration of St. Paddy's Day on Thursday. I created my card though to wish a friend best of luck that is leaving our company and moving to North Carolina.
I've used "Herb St. Patrick's Day" that you can find at the StampFairy Shop. The clover image is a freebie and I've printed it twice in two sizes for this card. As you can see, Herb is sitting in a pot of gold - undoubtedly at the end of rainbow somewhere! I paired this adorable image with papers from Cosmo Cricket "Social Club" and "Salt Air" and Papertrey Ink "Green Boutique". The layout design of this card is based on a sketch from The Sweet Stop-SSS99. The sketch design is at the bottom of this post.
I sure hope you join us in the challenge this week. We love seeing your creativity and visiting your blogs to comment. I've seen so many talented crafters' work by visiting all the entries - I love that. If you enter you just might win big! The first place winner receives 3 StampFairy digi images, second place gets 2 images and third place get 1 free digi from StampFairy. So there's lots of chances to win!
Just be sure to use a StampFairy image to qualify for the winning prizes though. There are plenty of freebies in the StampFairy Shop.
And also in the shop now are these fabulous collections that were just released last week:
Introducing the adorable Panda Paul Bamboo.....
And here's the newest collection featuring the popular Clementine....
You can see these new digi stamps at this StampFairy Shop link.
Now head over to the StampFairy Challenge Blog to see all the other GREEN cards created by the design team to inspire you this week!

A Happy Card from Doodle Pantry!
Happy Sunday bloggers! I'm doing a quick post to show a card I made this weekend for my daughter's friend. I used a wonderful (and one of my favorites) Doodle Pantry image called "Birdie on a Wire". Lots of fun, bright colors make this a happy card!
I colored this darling image with Prismacolor pencils and blended them with gamsol. The image was digitally mounted on digi paper in my editing software, then printed and colored - it saves you from cutting out this intricate image. The digi papers (focal panel and pink panel) are from Shery K Designs. The other papers are from Cosmo Cricket "DeLovely" collection. The flower was made with the same DP and die cut with Papertrey Ink flower dies.
Just a reminder that the Doodle Pantry challenge is still going on through March 19th. The theme to follow is simply "Use a Doodle Pantry Image". Easy peasy - you can find freebie images in the Doodle Pantry Shop or browse the store because I know you'll find something adorable on every page that you'll have to have! I'd love to see you participate and share your creativity with us at Doodle Pantry - come join us!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Greetings and happy Wednesday! This week we have an absolutely fabulous sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and are sponsored by the wonderfully whimsical Bugaboo Stamps.
The grand prize winner of the SSW86 challenge this week will receive 7 digi stamps worth $21 - that's a "wow" prize! We're so thankful to Jodie at Bugaboo for her generous support of Sweet Sketch Wednesday and her darling digi stamps that keep smiles on our faces!
And here's the "wow" sketch for this week created by our talented Arlana Patten. This sketch is great for multiple coordinated designer papers. So pull yours out, grab a Bugaboo image and this sketch and join our fun challenge this week!
The Bugaboo image I've selected for this week's challenge is "Deacon Heart" and you can find him here at the Bugaboo store. I paired him up with Cosmo Cricket "Circa 1934" papers which I thought would be great on a guy card. A felt heart with a little black clip and some corduroy buttons and we have a Valentine's Day card any boy would love to receive.
Now be sure to visit the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog where the design team creations will just "wow" you too! And make sure you leave a little love there in the comments section to qualify for the grand prize.

Chili Chihuahua - Meljen Challenge 41
I have a spicy hot card tonight for the Meljens Designs challenge! This hot number is called Chili Chihuahua and it's my entry into Challenge 41 - Square or Round shape cards. I couldn't resist the challenge to make a round card - I mean how often do you really create round cards? And this one was a fun one with this adorable image. You can find the current challenge here and quite a bit of inspiration too from Meljen's talented design team.
I colored Mr. Chili here with Copics, added some sparkle with a glitter gel pen, layered it with lots of layers thanks to Spellbinders Nestie dies and used Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety papers and SU cardstock in Poppy, Artichoke and Summer Sun. A quick one but fun!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Happy Wednesday everyone! I had so much fun preparing for this week's Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge. Our sponsor this week is Tiddlyinks and I'm showcasing three images today from Tiddlyinks using this week's fun and versatile sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
And finally this sweet angel called "Watch Over Us" at Tiddlyinks makes a lovely Christmas card with her wings and halo so sparkly.
We'd love to have you join us in the sketch challenge this week. One lucky winner will be selected as the Grand Prize winner and receive a $10 gift certificate to Tiddlyinks digital stamps! Just make a card using this sketch and post it to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday site. Remember to add your comments at Sweet Sketch Wednesday to be qualified to win the Grand Prize and the Top Three recognition. We love our supporters and welcome new participants. You'll love Arlana's sketches - particularly the one this week that inspired me to make three cards to showcase!
The first card uses this adorable Tiddlyinks "Penguin Hop". I love penguins and this one was irresistable to me, especially paired with my new "Flakes" paper from Crate Paper's Snowy Day Collection. I also used some leftover Cosmo Cricket "Jolly By Golly" papers from last year. The embellishment is a combination of a MS snowflake punch, Spellbinders snowflake die cut, a beaded spiral doo dag and lots of colored stickles! Isn't he a fun looking chap all glittered up?! I thought so too!
My second sample showcases Tiddlyinks "Something Warm" snowman. Doesn't he look friendly glittered up and glistening?!
I've used the new Echo Park Paper's "Wintertime" here - it's soft blue and warm browns and reds were a perfect combination with this darling image.
She's combined with papers from Kaisercraft's "Christmas Carnival Collection" which is shimmery and sparkly too.
Hopefully you've seen something here that prompts you to head over to our sponsor, Tiddlyinks, and check out the holiday images available there. Each of the images I've used are selling for only $1 right now.
And I know you have to love the Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch and the different looks you can achieve with it. So play along with us this week, won't you? We would love that! Be sure to check out the other design team creations for more inspiration and samples of this sketch and Tiddlyinks images too! Links are on my left sidebar and at the Sweet Sketch Wednesday site.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
