Weigh in: 180
Sigh.
I saw 179 this week. Honest, I did.
I'm feeling VERY frustrated and let down right now about my weight. I ate VERY well this week. I worked hard to make great choices. I even dealt with some real hunger issues and pushed through.
And I've got a whole .2ounces of loss to show for it. Sigh.
Also, baby's weigh in this morning showed he's only gained 3 ounces in the past TWO weeks. That's half of what he was gaining before I started working hard on my diet again. Sigh.
So. Right now my mind sees this:
Modified 6 week plan (adding in some extra oats and fats for nursing) = drop in baby's growth and almost zero weight loss for me = This Isn't Working.
And, so, now I have to ask: What am I supposed to do now? I'm definitely confused and need some encouraging advice. I'm not looking to set aside our plant-based diet. But, I really wish I could understand WHY my body works like this while nursing a baby. What is it doing? What does it need? How can I make this work right?
Sigh.
