Let's start with summary of this story:
A little chameleon is distressed that he doesn't have a color of his own like other animals. He is very sad because he cannot move around without changing colour. Because he wants to have a color of his own so badly, he finds the greenest leaf and decides to stay there forever. This works until the seasons start to change, and the leaf turns to yellow and then to red. Finally, he finds another chameleon who suggests that they travel together and they set off on a new life of adventure.

This book talks about the color of other animals and how they are all different. It is important that all children know that they are loved, even if they are different, and that they know that it is okay to be different. You do not have to be like everyone else to be happy!

It talks about friendship too, and shows how other people can help you get through difficult times.

A great book about accepting yourself, friendship and art.

 

一本很有意思的绘本。故事讲述一只困扰没有自己的颜色的变色龙如何去寻找自己的颜色。虽然最后还是没办法拥有固定的颜色，可是它遇到了另一只变色龙。那只变色龙陪同它一起到处走动，那么它们就永远拥有一样的颜色啦！

 

很有意义的一本书。故事教导孩子们该如何接受自己的特色。当然还有友爱的可贵。通过这个故事可以间接的介绍颜色给孩子，以下我们进行的活动。

可以用透明塑料卡来画出变色龙，然后裁剪出来。

My very colorful table calendar is another good tool to use for this book activity.
恰好我有一个颜色很丰富鲜艳的月历，那么就拿出来一起使用吧！你看到变色龙藏在哪里吗？

找颜色游戏：妈妈说出，变色龙现在藏身于“XX"颜色中，然后晨就在游戏范围内寻找妈妈说的颜色，然后放上变色龙。

I draw few "paper doll" who are with long hair, and let my girl to do haircut for them~
Learning letter H from cutting practise. :)
简单的画出几个纸娃娃，将头发部分都留长，接着就让小人儿来给他们理发。很简单的剪刀练习活动，一面锻炼小手肌肉一面学习字母H.

❥ H, Hopping
Let's have outdoor exercise for our little ones. H for Hopping, and we write down H & h by chalk on the floor. Chen jumped from one circle to another, and whenever she reached a circle, i'll tell her whether it is uppercase letter H or lowercase letter h.

户外小活动，在地上用粉笔写上H & h,并让孩子自由跳动。当她踏到那些字母时我会大声念出 ： 大写的H / 小写的h。简单的户外运动同时加深孩子对字母的印象。

Hello! Hello!  &  Hug

Hello!Hello! is a book which using simple way to tell our children, how animals say hello when they meet their friends.

I bought this book just due to the cover showing lion, which is my girl favourite's animal. When i get the book and i found that, wow! Luckily i bought it!

This is a good action book, as parents and kids can pretend themselves as the animals inside the book, and say hello in their ways! Chen and me play for around 1 hour when i introduced this book to her. And i'm not able to take any photos during the process as i'm also one of the animal which busy to say hello! ^^

我购买这本书的目的完全是为了封面两只狮子（以为是关于狮子的故事），那时小人儿最喜欢的动物。收到书本翻开内页发现原来这本书是讲诉动物们跟同类问好的方式，非常有趣！让大家看看内容。配合字母H的学习，我们一起进行了绘本活动。我们一起扮演书里的动物，学习他们打招呼的方式，非常好玩！我们玩了大概一个小时~没有活动照，因为，我也是动物之一，没办法分身拍照！ XD

One of my girl's favourite story recently, so i planned to get free printables online for our story telling session. I searched for few days but still can't get it, so i have to draw by myself at the end. If you are interested, you may get it from here.
在准备这些小玩意时是打算直接从网上打印免费提供的printable,但是老实说我网搜的功力不太好，很多东西我都是找不到，包括我只是要找Goldilocks和三只小熊的图纸，花了几天的时间都找不到，最后唯有自己画出简单的图案啦。如果你也需要，可以从这里打印。

Goldilocks tasted the porridge. I used hot water, cold water(ice) & plain water to represent :　too HOT, too COLD, just RIGHT! A great sensory activiy for little girl! Chen sensed it with her finger tips :)
Goldilocks吃了碗里的粥，我用热水（注意水温，别烫伤孩子），冷水（加入冰块），和普通开水来代表太热，太冷，刚刚好！我让晨用指头测试水温，不错的感官活动～



Goldilocks was tired and she lay down on the bed. I used ziplock bags to fill with stone, water & pom pom balls to represent : too HARD, too SOFT & just RIGHT!
Goldilocks感到疲倦躺在床上，我用密封袋分别装入了石头，水和pom pom ball分别代表太硬，太软及刚刚好！  

After the story session, Chen said bear's family wanna eat their porridge! And she placed the bears in front of their bowls correctly. :)
故事结束后，晨突然说，熊熊也要吃粥。接着就自己把熊熊们排在正确位置～

After it Chen said, Bears want to sleep and she put them on the correct beds also! :)
接下来她又说熊熊要睡咯，然后就把他们带到各自的床上。

She like this activity very much. After our dinner (after daddy came back from work), Chen asked me to prepare materials for her and she wanna tell the story to her dad! Haha, it's really funny. I prepared the material again, and she tell the story to her dad with actions! :)

我想她真的很喜欢这个活动。我们晚饭后，晨叫我帮她准备材料，她要说故事给爸爸听！哈哈！真有趣！我快手再次准备好，然后她就开始说故事啦！　:)　看来我艰难的画图是值得的啦！（不过，我还是希望以后有免费图供我打印就好～画图太难啦！）

❥ Build Letter F with Lego & Pattern Blocks
Well, i add in Wooden Blocks Alphabet Puzzle Set inside Chen's drawer (which i kept all the alphabet building activity set inside, she can decide which activity that she wanna do during tot school), and the result is, she told me that she don't want to build Letter F with Lego and she wanna play with the wooden blocks~ Ok, learning process should be happy so i accepted her request of course.
这个星期就没有利用乐高积木拼出字母F了。这个星期我在晨的抽屉里增添了益智木块字母拼图活动套装，小朋友选择了使用木块来拼出大写F并告诉我说我不要用Lego拼F。既然这样，我也尊重她的选择。

 

❥ F Farm

Humphrey's Farm Adventure

You may refer to http://www.humphreys-corner.com/ for all the books about Humphrey, i got few of it, all bought from Big Bad Wolf.

Prepared a farm themed sensory bin for this story book. Well, i got no talent(at all) in preparing sensory bin. My sensory bin always very simple, haha~ And below is my farm adventure sensory bin.
我购入了基本小象Humphrey的绘本，是分几次于大野狼书展购入的。内容简单易懂 ，挺适合两三岁左右的孩子(当然也可以更早）。大家可以查阅http://www.humphreys-corner.com/ 了解详情。
在Sensory Bin部分，我向来没什么天分。看到其他妈妈都做得很精彩，好羡慕，可是有才华局限，我就还是做简单的好了。

First of all is feeding section. And Chen need to feed the farm animals accoring to the story sequence.
很简单的绘本活动，就是根据故事来个想像游戏。让晨充当Humphrey,到农场参观。首先是根据故事依序喂食 。

F, Footprint
Press animal model on playdough to show the footprint of the animals.
接下来就把动物按压在黏土来显示动物们的脚印。

Lastly, and also Chen's favourite part for this book activity session : bath the animals~
最后就是小朋友最爱的玩水环节： 帮动物们洗澡啦 ~

Another simple and great book activities, at least for me as this little really enjoyed the pretend play very much! :)
绘本活动完成。小朋友很喜欢这次的农场探险活动。 :)

❥ F Fish

Simple DIY Fishing Play 1 自制钓鱼玩具 1

Fish from Eva Foam Sheet, and label up F & f on it to have a alphabet sorting games.
利用泡棉片裁出了小鱼，然后分别写上 F 及  f, 就可以开始分类游戏。

1. You can prepare a container for F and another one for f. Instruct your lil ones to sorting uppercase & lowercase letter F
先是可以进行大小写分类游戏（ 你可以准备一个空盘写上 F另一个则写上 f 让孩子分类)

2. Get your toddler to fishing according to your instruction. Show them a F, then they have to give you a F fish ,and vice versa.
也可以，让孩子根据指示钓鱼。出示大写F的卡片，然后孩子需要钓一只字母F的鱼 ；以此类推。

And together with dots card (card from one dot to ten dots), we can practise counting through this activity.
配合点数卡，我们可以进行数量练习。小人儿目前已经可以辨识0-9,只是在数量方面会比较没有耐心好好数，所以通过游戏我们来训练小朋友数量的耐心。

1. Start from any of the dots card ( I let Chen to draw it out)
我让晨闭起眼抽出一张点数卡（ 纯粹是为了增添学习趣味性而已）

2. Let your toddler to count on the dots.
然后数数点数卡上有几个圆点。

3. Get the fish in same quantity with the dots card.
孩子必须钓起同等数目的小鱼。

* You can use number cards to replace with dots card.
你也可以使用数字卡来替代点数卡。

❥ Gluing Practice 贴图练习

Bear Lim的字母卡首卖时我就购买了(有购买者可以向她索取免费字母打印教材)，事先准备好的鱼不够啦～这次让小朋友自行画上～ 

❥ Golf Tees Letter Ff
Another simple activity with minimum advance preparation (Golf Tees from Daiso).
简单的敲钉字母活动。Golf Tees是早前就已经购买的了。只是简单用recycled paper点出F&f，再于纸张下面垫上厚海绵(厚度大概3cm)即可。
