Our Circus Surprise Prize Arrived!

Well these pictures tell the story.  Hootie and I won this wonderful prize for "most comments" at the big Blogville Circus in February.  We were shocked at the win and also very excited for the prize to get here from our new friend, Roo.  Well, it arrived on the 8th and what a grand prize it was.  Get this, Mom didn't let us touch ANY of the gifts inside...she said they were just for hoomans!! Books and dvd's and such.  Imagine our chagrin.  Well, it turns out there actually was something there for us...It just required some patience. There was a GIFT CARD for PetSmart!!!  One of our favorite places to go, next to Home Depot and the Frozen Yogurt Store.  That was so cool.  We got to celebrate with a knuckle bone for each of us.  Thanks Roo and the Circus Team!  BTW, we think that the goal for the circus fund-raiser was reached too and that is fantastic.  You guys are swell in many ways.

Prizes & Pressies from Beautiful Addie & Adorable Autumn

Here we are here helping Mommy open the huge box that came from Addie of Raising Addie.

We were the prize winners of this wonderful little girl dog gift box. Addie's mommy knew that we planned on giving it to our little neighbor if we won, so she graciously included extra special pressies for us too!! What a gal! Thanks so much Addie and Addie's mommy. We love you.

This is Tazzie, the little gal to whom we gave the big princess prize. She was rescued by our friend Stephanie a couple months ago. Taz was used as a breeder at a puppy mill for 5 years and is so happy to be living with Stephanie and finally living the good life. She is such a happy girl!
Her mommy said she will send us a pic of her in the tiara when she gets her hairs cut again.

And here I,Baby Rocket Dog, am modeling my mustache ball. I love it!!

A few days ago Hootie received a package with a tasty Hartz bone and toy in it. It was from Autumn's Birthday Costume Contest. He hogged up the bone and can you believe it, he even growled at me when I tried to help him eat it?! Sheesh. We didn't get any photos of that, but wanted to tell Miss Autumn that Hootie has enjoyed his loot a lot. When we get home to Idaho Hootie said he'll talk Mommy into taking us to visit Autumn's DaleFellow, Jackson, so he can deliver a butt-sniff from her. Well buddies, please go visit both Autumn's and Addie's blogs. Both are filled with great posts. (Addie's last post was on the pooches of the devastation in Japan. There is an awesome video of dog loyalty.)

So, to conclude, we have been heaped with wonderful gifts lately and are very grateful. ALSO, our mom finally won a bid on a camera just like her broken one on eBay, so in a few weeks we'll be back in business!! Hooray!!

Getting Our Hairs Cut and This Is Post #99!!

Okey dokey, today Hootie and I are getting our hairs cut by our favorite groomer, Jody, at the Pend Oreille Vet Clinic. (That's here picture here!!) Mommy is hoping that she won't need to have any grooming done while in Phoenix, as she has such bad experiences there. Anywhooo, Jody is gonna cut our "skirts" a bit shorter to hopefully last us a while longer. (Isn't it funny that Hootie has a skirt??hehe.) We'll still go to the Smelly Dog for our bathes while in Arizona, 'cuz those guys are super nice too. Mom took a few "before" pics of our shagginess last night but failed to xfer them to her computer...so, when she gets the "after" shots taken we'll post all for our post #1-0-0. THen, we'll write up the names to enter in our 1-0-0 Post Give Away and post 101 will announce the winners!! Oh we're so excited. Besides some cool toys there is also a special prize for the #1 Hooman winner. (Here's a hint: What measures temperature?) Photo of said prize will show on post 1-0-0 too--- you'll all want to win this one!!
