Assalamualaikum :) Do you know that there is a faster way to Istanbul from Ankara? If you don't, now I tell you. hehehe :D Since 25th July 2014, there was an Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train which takes only for 3.5 hours and this makes it an attractive alternative to bus which takes for 6 hours. The Istanbul's railway station is located at Pendik, a suburb of Istanbul. Close to the Pendik railway station, I found Var Doner, a Turkish restaurant that served a variety of Turkish cuisines including it's speciality, doner. Doner is made of meat (lamb or beef or chicken, but usually lamb) cooked in a vertical rotisserie. There were many other restaurants sold doner too but I came here because of this promotion.
