On the first and third Thursdays of each month, there is a new inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog featuring the Design Team's projects. This is great to get your fix of ITDBK DT project postings! ALSO, I have a discount code for you! Jennifer15 will get you 15% off your entire order in the ITDBK online store. You can use it as many times as you like!

For my project today I used the Christmas Tree Bear digital stamp set to make this fun holiday card. I love his sweet face, it's just adorable! There are several of these bear digi sets to choose from (check out the Candy Cane Elf set or the Moosemas Wreath set) and they are all  TOO cute!

I'm entering this card into Bugaboo's Holiday Critter Chaos Day 4 - Tic Tac Toe/Bingo. My bingo is Plaid/Free/3 Layers or Tree/3 Layers/Glitter or Tree/Free/Ribbon (I guess it's technically metallic twine, but I keep it in my ribbon bin!). Here's the grid for your reference!

I was having some printer issues here at home, and this adorable coffee mug image was pre-printed in my ITDBK stash. Unfortunately I've now discovered it's been retired. Ugh. BUT, may I suggest one of these other adorable coffee-themed digital sets to add to your collection - COFFEE GOODNESS

My coffee-themed paper is from the awesome Coffee Break digital paper bundle (it was also in my stash - luckily!). The sentiment is from the Scallop Circle Sentiments bundle - this set is HUGE, you get over 40 images in both black and white AND color!

I've used the gorgeous Fanciful Circles nested die set from Polkadoodles on the large circle layer. The wispy steam die cuts are a flourish die from MFT.

Oh yes, and Hubby thinks he has the network problems fixed here for the computers and printers, so I'll have some more NEW inspiration for you soon! In the meantime, I think I need a pumpkin spice latte ;)

Good morning my dear stamping friends! I'm here today to share some inspiration for Imagine That Digistamp's "First Thursday" Challenge. That's right, the challenge is now monthly, on the ITD blog, complete with prizes!! The challenges start the first Thursday of each month and end on the last Tuesday before the new challenge begins. On the first and third Thursdays of each month, there will be a new inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog featuring the Design Team's projects. This is great to get your fix of ITDBK DT project postings!

Today I've created a fun boy's birthday card. I am ALWAYS in short supply of male cards - for little guys and big guys! I try to sneak them in as often as I can, but it still seems like 90% of what I create turns out "girlie"....

I printed the main image, called Triceratops Balloons from the Dinosaur Party bundle, onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored him in with Copic MarkersI buy all of my markers, refills, and adhesive at Scrapbookpal.com - I have for close to 10 years! I love their fast shipping and awesome service. The sentiment is pre-colored from the Scallop Circle Sentiments bundle - this set is HUGE, you get over 40 images in black & white AND color!

I've used the gorgeous Fanciful Circles nested die set from Polkadoodles on the main sentiment panel. My papers are from Lawn Fawn, KaiserCraft and Doodlebug Design.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

Lemon Shortbread - #99: AG (3/3)
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #110: AG (3/3)

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - #1930: Wings (2/3)

Imagine That Digistamp - August Challenge!

Today I've created a fun card using the Freda's Flower Basket digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments and papers. I've also used a paper and the sentiment from the Leesa's Tulip set to complete the project. Dies are from Gina Marie Designs - Stitched Square and Venetian Rectangle, glitter enamel dots from Doodlebug Designs.

This is a Double Twisted Easel card! How cool is that?! This is my first time making a card like this, so I used the precolored images from the set (in case my try was a fail, I didn't lose all my coloring too). I think it turned out really well and it's VERY surprisingly easy to make!! Even I was able to manage ;) I found the instruction here at Cardmaking Magic.

I'm entering this into the Petals for the Pittman's floral card fundraiser/linky contest. Check out THIS POST for all the information. I can't even imagine how difficult the family's struggle is right now. Consider checking out the awesome digi sets that have been assembled to help raise money. Jessica from Polkadot Orchard has done a mind-blowingly amazing job putting this together! I can't even share all the image photos here, there are too many!

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

Lemon Shortbread - #99: AG (3/3)
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #110: AG (3/3)

Imagine That Digistamp - July Midinspiration

Good morning my dear stamping friends! I'm here today to share some inspiration for Imagine That Digistamp's "First Thursday" Challenge. That's right, the challenge is now monthly, on the ITD blog, complete with prizes!! The challenges start the first Thursday of each month and end on the last Tuesday before the new challenge begins. On the first and third Thursdays of each month, there will be a new inspiration post on the Creative Playground blog featuring the Design Team's projects. This is great to get your fix of ITDBK DT project postings!

Today I've created a fun card using the Flamingo Christmas digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments. For today's card, I used the pre-colored image. I love having this option! This is one of my favorite Christmas images, and my mom loves it too, they live in Florida so it's PERFECT for her. I will probably end up sending this one to her at Christmas time (ssh, don't tell her!).

Sentiment is from Polkadoodles - Winter Wishes clear stamp set, which I've heat embossed onto the black cardstock using white embossing powder. The die around the main image is from Gina Marie Designs - Wonky Stitched Rectangle. Border made with Lawn Fawn Valentine Border die. Bow is about 18 years old, from my stash when I used to spend 37 hours a week stalking Hobby Lobby for....ANYTHING I CAN PUT ON A CARD! ;)

That's it for me today! Be sure to check out the Creative Playground for more ITDBK inspiration.

Today I've created a fun card using the Punny Thanks digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments. For today's card, I colored up this funny sentiment/image using Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. The papers are digital papers from ITDBK as well, although I didn't realize they are retired. They are very similar to these Beary in Love papers though, if you're looking for fun patterns in this color scheme.

Today I've created a fun card using the Llama Kisses digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments. Aren't they the cutest? I've paired them up with some papers from PhotoPlay 6x6 pad that I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo last month - love these bright summery colors! The glittery washi tape is from Scotch and the wooden enamel button is from Recollections.

I colored up this sweet couple using Copic Markers - I buy all of mine at Scrapbookpal.com for their fast shipping and awesome service. It's a little hard to see but I colored the girl llama using the lightest range of Warm Grey colors, and the boy llama is colored using the lightest of the Cool Greys. Sometimes those really light colors don't show up as well in my photos :(

Stitched Circle die from Kat Scrappiness, flag tag die is from Craftin Desert Divas, and the Paris scene elements are from Crafter's Companion. Various layers are popped up with foam tape - thickness 1/16" up to 3/16".

Imagine That Digistamp - May Challenge: Mid-Month Inspiration!

Today I've created a fun card using the Ladybug Boots/Daisies Planter digi set. The set contains black and white and color images, plus sentiments. I printed it out and colored by hand using Copic markers. My papers are not digital this time around, but are from an old paper pad I had from Fun Stampers Journey. I really loved these colors - they are so fun & bright - summery and happy! I've had some photo inspiration from The Card Concept as well - they have a mosaic this week that really reminded me of the flowers in this backing papers - the shape and also the colors were perfect with the color scheme of the photo inspiration (below). The photo really grabbed me and when I was digging for some flowery/summer looking papers, these jumped into my hands. Perfect!

Die from Gina Marie, my favorite and go-to place to get dies (Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies) - great quality and low prices, woohoo! The main image was cut with Distressed Edge Rectangle die set from Kat Scrappiness. The sentiment is from the digi set, and I added some pretty blue Nuvo Drops all around for a little extra dazzle.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Aud Sentiments - #227: Summer (1/5)
Addicted to Stamps & More - #341: AG
Crafty Gals Corner - #191: May Flowers (1/3)
Sisterhood of Crafters - Flowers (1/3)
The Card Concept - #115: Mosaic (text description and photo inspiration located above)
