Happy Thursday stamping friends! Today I'm sharing my project for the challenge over at Aud Sentiments where the theme is...Two-Word sentiment. Challenge accepted!

This challenge's sponsor is Doctor Digi's House of Stamps, and they are offering a wonderful prize to a lucky player! For my card today I've used the Spells for Beginners image. We love wizards in this house! And our favorite holiday...Halloween approacheth!

Isn't she darling? Colored with Copic markers. Dies from Gina Marie. I added Stickles to the top of the staff for the iridescent look. Sticker is from the dollar store. Tags are Recollections from Michael's, and I stamped these words from Taylored Expressions on them. Cardstock Stampin' Up and I have no clue where the purple paper is from except the giant box o' scraps in my stamp room :D

My card today features this hilarious Ambrose Dunderton (color) image from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps. Gotta love those Dundertons! I had to dig around for a fun "old" sentiment to go along with it, and found this one from an old Little Paper Shop clear set that I thought worked well.

Creative Knockouts #232 - Birthday

Good morning stampers! Today I'm sharing my project for the challenge over at Creative Knockouts where the theme is...Birthday! Good deal, I am always in need of birthday cards!

Here's my project, featuring Birthday Cheese. I love this image! It makes me smile. Yes, way way back in the day when I was teeny tiny, we had one of these cameras. It was the MOST AMAZING thing ever!

Since this is a camera, I wanted to add a little "glass" look to the lens and flash area. I used Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze in clear and let it dry. I took another photo at an angle to try to show the shine.

I uses a sketch today, Viva la Verve for February, one of my favorites for sketches!

Today's card features this beautiful pre-colored Beer Sentiment Sheet. OMG - soooooooo funny!! Love these - I always need stuff for guy cards, and funny is good. These are great for quick cards, or even complicated cards! The sentiment is a clear stamp from Paper Pretties and the Beer Stein is from DRS Designs in red rubber. Oh yea, and those are eyelets. I used my CropADile I've had for 10,000 years. Kickin' it OLD SKOOL this week!

Aud Sentiments #182

Happy Thursday! We have a new challenge for you at Aud Sentiments this morning!

The current challenge is sponsored by Doctor Digi! More details on the prize can be found on the challenge blog post for this challenge. As always, fantastic and generous loots are up for grabs! The challenge theme for the next 2 weeks is "Bingo", and here is the card. 

Here is my project, featuring Techie Sentiment Sheet. I printed it out in color and then cut out the Ghosts and Pac to create this project. The pellets are KaiserCraft pearls. I tossed some shimmery paint at the black cardstock to help jazz up the background, and stamped the sentiment in FunStampersJourney Whipped Cream ink (sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Funny Valentine).
