Shirtless Women

This post is going to be a little out of the ordinary. The reason I am writing it is because I have a few tracking devices set up to track the statistics of people who look at my blog. As you can see from the mini map on the side, there have been people from all over the world who have looked at my little insignificant blog. I definitely do not know people who live all over the world. In one of these tracker things that I use, I have noticed that one of my posts, Pantless Women , always appears on my list of being read. Even though it's really old. I always assumed it was some kind of a fluke or something, until Jarom suggested something last night. Maybe people really do look at that post a lot, because they're searching for porn, and it sounds like it could be a porn thing. That kind of disturbed me, but I've been thinking about it ever since and am kind of worried I have a bunch of porn freaks looking at my blog. So, as an experiment, I titled this blog accordingly

Student Ward VS Family Ward

A couple of months ago we moved into a family ward. This is the first time I have been in a real, family ward since I left home at 18. It has been a readjustment for sure. Here are a couple of things that happened today that sparked my thinking about all the funny differences between this ward and our previous student/single wards: -As I was walking with my new visiting teaching companion to our first appointment, she asks if I am studying right now. (Bad English, she's from Mexico and is still learning the language) I say no, I just graduated. She replies, "Oh, so are you going to get a job or make babies?".....cough cough...um....what? -Interesting seating arrangements in Sacrament meeting today. In the row in front of us, two mothers. In the row behind us, all their kids. Us...sandwiched in between. Mothers: constantly turning around, shushing, reaching. Kids: Playing, talking, crawling under the benches through our legs to their mothers. Then back again. -Also in Sa

Bored at Work Competitions

So I've been bored at work for the past few hours. So I decided to take a typing test online to test my skills. I consider myself a pretty good typer, you know, with speed and accuracy and all. I ended up getting a Net speed of 91 words per minute! Which I was very proud of, and that meant I had actually typed faster than that I just made some mistakes. So I printed my results and showed them off to a coworker. She promptly took the same test. And got 103. I was blown out of the water. "Oh man, you were the wrong person to take this to!" I bow my head in shame.

Death of a Mouse

I am sitting at work. Something tragic happened to my mouse, attached to my computer. So my mouse is sitting over here on my right. So is the electric stapler. Somehow my mouse wire wandered up and got inside the stapler, setting it off. It scared me, but luckily didn't penetrate the wire. I looked at it dumbfounded for a minute and started laughing. Then my coworker wanted to know what happened. So I showed her. "Look, this wire went through here and it set off the stapler!" While I was demonstrating, I set off the stapler again. Only this time...the stable went through the wire. So I pulled the staple out. While I was pulling it was making all kinds of noises, like I was unplugging and replugging something into the computer. But once I got the staple all the way out, it went completely dead. I guess I broke the circuit. How am I gonna explain this one....

Dangerous Sleep

I think I had a rough night last night, but I don't really remember. I think I remember waking up this morning feeling scared, like I had just had a scary dream, but I don't remember. The only other clue I have is that my fingers hurt. They are sore, like I've been gripping something really hard for awhile and wore my tiny finger muscles out. Weird.
