Mother Brain - Straight To Business

http://grindcorekaraoke.com/album/straight-to-business

I first found these nasty grinders roaming around on Grindcore Karaoke's bandcamp page. If you've never been there, it's pretty much a library of crazy music for free. You should go there. Anyway, I gather that these guys are from New York and play some grossout grindcore that occasionally introduces some seriously slamming riffs. This shit really appeals to me.

Black Mask

Black Mask - Black Mask (2012)

Very cool grindy crusty hardcore band from Pennsylvania.
I don't know much about them and honestly don't really care to do the research.

Band Camp.
Get Waste.

Terrorizer

YES. YES. YES.

VERY COOL ALBUMS FROM 2011: PART ONE

Firstly, I hate making numbered lists. It's impossible for me. I just don't have the time or even the desire to construct anything like that for you retards. Instead, here are some cool albums that happened to be released in 2011 posted in a completely arbitrary order. Literally the same order I thought of them in. There are plenty of top lists out there provided by other people and places, if you absolutely NEED a definitive pecking order, try checking out THIS ONE or THIS ONE, both posts from blogs that I PERSONALLY READ ALL BY MYSELF ON MY VERY OWN COMPUTER that post about COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS.

Immolation - Providence

This EP is very cool, even though Scion is associated. I don't really know what else to write about it. It sounds like Immolation and that's all I ask of them.

Autopsy - Eternal Macabre

Dude I love it when an oldschool band comes out with a new album and it's REAL GOOD. This album is almost as very cool as the artwork is.

Crowbar - Sever The Wicked Hand

This album is very cool if you already liked Crowbar. If you didn't it probably didn't convert you. It's very cool because I still remembered it even though it came out in like... February.

Disma - Toward The Megalith

This album is very cool, but you already knew it that because it's literally on every top list that matters. Also, this is a definite contender for most Very Cool artwork of the year.

Corpsessed - The Dagger & The Chalice

This is definitely one of my favorite Very Cool death metal albums of the year. If you don't have it already you're slippin' so hard you already fell on your stupid ass. Idiot.

Rotten Sound - Cursed

Rotten Sound is the only grindcore band I've posted so far. Very Cool.

This is all the blog post posting I have patience for at the moment. I'll try to enlighten you further in the next installment of VERY COOL ALBUMS THAT CAME OUT IN 2011.

Dystopia

Dystopia - The Aftermath (1999)

Black friday inspired post.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Smear Campaign

Napalm Death - Smear Campaign (2006)

The initial screeches on this record throw me off every single time I put it on. I absolutely adore Barney's voice. I think it's one of the most burly, beefy, visceral vocal deliveries in aggressive music. But those first squeaky screechy sounds, fuck do they put me off. After the first bar or two he's back to his usual awesomeness though, so don't worry dudes (I know you were worrying about it). What makes Barney so awesome is even when he just goes "Oooo!" or "Guhhhh!" it sounds so fucking brutal it makes my vertebrae rattle. And I don't mean brutal in a breakdowns and flatbill caps kind of way. I mean pulling your intestines out of your mouth and shoving them back up your asshole kind of way. Sure this album came out in 2006. Sure you pretend to love Scum. Who cares. I sure as fuck don't.

ASSHOLE.

Off The Pigs

Plutocracy - Off The Pigs (2010)

Sometimes I like to relive the day that this album came out by completely forgetting it even exists for months on end only to find it in my music library later and get really excited. Fastcore's favorite wiggers, and I say that in the most complimentary way possible.

While I'm a huge sucker for the whole bay area fastcore movement, this band is a definite favorite. Might post other albums from them later on. If you're not into the whole smoke weed and A.C.A.B. thing you might not be down with this band. The use of a Trailer Park Boys sample to illustrate their disenchantment when our local law enforcement earns bonus points.

Where my Doomryders at?

Dank Upon A Time

Harmony Corruption

Napalm Death - Harmony Corruption (1990)

This album doesn't get enough credit. I love Napalm Death.

Dirge

Wormrot - Dirge

Singapore grinders are back with a new and absolutely furious album, twenty-five tracks into eighteen minutes. So far 2011 has been a great year for the grind. Also, how badass is this album cover? Unlike GridLink with all their stupid kabuki machine-gun bullshit.

Dirge.

Orphan

GridLink - Orphan

It's here and boy howdy is it a shredder. 12 minutes of serious business.

Flatworlder.

Abuse

Wormrot - Abuse

Truly awesome grindcore band from Singapore. This album is nasty as fuck, I can't wait to see them on friday.

In Grind We Rot.

Cursed

Rotten Sound - C u r s e d

It's everywhere else, now it's here too. Along with Nasum, the only 'polished' grindcore I can get myself to listen to for more than a minute or two. Weird spacing because Relapse deletes my shit all the time.

Cursed.

Gridlink - Amber Gray

I think I posted this a couple years ago, but I'm gonna repost it because the new album is coming out soon and all you dorks need to get acquainted. Short and furious just like the guys who played it.

Amber Gray.

Cretin - Freakery

This band does not get enough attention. Not nearly enough. Being one of the first grindcore bands I actively listened to, they definitely made a big impact on my musical tastes today. Also of note, I hear one of the dudes in the band is no longer a dude. Makes you wonder when you consider songs like Daddy's Little Girl.

I PLAN TO USE THE MONEY FOR HIS SEX CHANGE OPERATION.

Phobia - Unrelenting

New Phobia EP. That alone warrants a listen.

Unrelenting.

Ed Gein - Judas Goats and Diesel Eaters

I've recently been going back and listening to albums I was really into in my mid teenage years. You probably already know what there is to know about this band, so I won't go into it. I was surprised to still find this album pretty enjoyable. Might post more old stupid shit if nothing decent comes along.

Here it is.
Anaal Nathrakh - In The Constellation Of The Black Widow

I totally slept on this record until recently. I've always loved Anaal Nathrakh, one of my favorite bands for sure. Mick's riffs shred, V.I.T.R.I.O.L.'s (AKA Dave Hunt) vocals shred even more. Literally. It sounds like his throat is being shredded into a bloody pulp. Cool. If you haven't heard them before, I highly recommend you browse through this blog and listen to The Codex Necro first. It rules.

While I wouldn't call this their best effort, it's still totally awesome (and necro). There are a couple snoozers that I didn't really enjoy, but overall a totally sinister listen. Dave continues to demonstrate the fact that he can do every form of vocal delivery in extreme music as well as belt out the most epic clean line you've ever heard once or twice an album.

Too Long No Read: Music sound good. Voice guy crazy. You listen.

Necronecronecro
Agoraphobic Nosebleed/Insect Warfare Split

I have been listening to ANb's half of the this split all fucking day. It's so fucking good. I demand you download this. I've included the entire split, but fuck Insect Warfare's half. I'm pretty sure I've posted this on here a year or two ago, but for all you new listeners first-time callers, download this shit. IT'S FUCKING COOL.

Newest effort from California based 'Cinema-Grinders' Graf Orlock. Movie sample laden grindcore. Not bad.
