Convention Swaps - Barb Jackson's Dress Swap

Hi Stampers!

Today I'm going to share a swap that Barbara Jackson organized. It was one of many she organized. She was a busy woman. I didn't take part in this or any of her swaps but a couple of my friends did, so I'm showing pics of the ones I liked. I told Barbara that next year I'll be back joining her swaps. I did the first year I went and had a great time.

But first, with a reminder that my Annual Customer Appreciation Day is coming up on August 10th. Save the date. You don't want to miss this one. I'm in the middle of setting up my new craft room and reorganizing the classroom. I'm an opening boxes of stuff I haven't touched in quite awhile. Guess what, it's all going on the sale table!

Now for Barbara's dress swap.

This one was done by Barbara Jackson.

Convention Highlights 2 and Project Shares

Hi My Friends,

Here is installment #2 of convention highlights followed by card shares.

One of the fun things we like to do each year is go visit the home offices of Stampin' Up! in Riverton, Utah.  SU provides these big large luxurious buses to transport us to and from. Here is Marie and Margaret as we are loading onto the bus.

This waterfall is so peaceful and beautiful. It sits right in the cent of the home office.

The shipping warehouse is so massive. All computerized of course.

Many samples were on display in the Idea Room.

Trying to get near a display to take pics was a job in itself.

But, Margaret made it through! There she is, in the black shirt, front and center!

This is a wall of email and mail coming from demonstrators with ideas of stamp sets and kits.

Across from the Idea Room is Demonstrator Support. This is where we call when we have an issue or a question.

The following pics are cards and projects sitting on the Demonstrator Support staff desks.

If you look closely, the banner says "WE LOVE OUR DEMOS".

Convention Highlights 1 and Swap Shares

Hi Stampers!

I'm back from convention and soooo charged up!!!  A lot of pics to share with you today.

First, look at all my FREEBIES!! Stampin' Up! was so generous with us.

Then, I was awarded two items of my choice for my annual sales of 20k and recruiting. So I chose the Six Sided Bundle and the Festive Flurry Bundle.
So in total, I received, FOR FREE:
8 stamp sets
6 project kits
1 Simply Created Kit
1 Bigz Die
1 Paper Pumpkin Kit
1 punch
1 framelit set
2 sets of Washi Tape (forgot to take pic)
Convention Bag
I would say that's a great haul!!

Wednesday night our umbrella group Udderly Awesome, led by Sandy Hancock, had their meeting. By the time everyone arrived, there was over 200 people in the room.

Here's my girls, Chris and Velinda in the midst of swapping at the Udderly Awesome meeting. Margaret is looking on. Chris had the best swap out of all of my team. I awarded her with a free pack of Designer Series Paper. So Chris, don't forget to let me know your choice!

While we are waiting for the Opening General Session to start, there is impromptu dancing in the aisle. Here's Margaret and Marie doing the Electric Slide with a group of other demonstrators. At the closing General Session a group of us, even me, did YMCA.

Then the "all glorious demonstrator bag"!!! We were waiting and waiting to see what they looked like this year. This is all the excitement when it was being passed out to all the demonstrators. It's a nice back pack with a padded section for your computer and many more pockets.

You've all heard me talk about general swaps and organized swaps. Here is a pic of an organized swap. 80 demonstrators signed up for this particular swap. It was all occasion cards. Can you imagine making 80 cards for one swap?? Plus your general swaps!

These two lovely ladies are Bobbi on the left and Janine on the right. We look forward to seeing each other each year. Our dear friend Debbie couldn't make it this year. She was truly missed. Love you Debbie O!!

This is at Macaroni Grill with our upline, Sandy Hancock in the red sweater. L-R: Me, Margaret, Sandy, Anne, Velinda, and Marie.   Chris was taking this picture. We have a hard time getting her in front of the camera. She didn't know I was taking her pic earlier!

The last three pics are swaps someone else received, but I liked them so much I took pics.

Keep checking back. I've got more pics and swaps to share.

Thanks for stopping by today.
