Plenty to Share

Hello My Friends,

I took a class from Helene, the owner of Magenta Rubber Stamps. Cards were great. The Magenta crew did a great job on designing these projects. I will share ALL of them here with you today.

This is the first card. We were working on chip board frames using US Art Quest paints. Very iridescent and shimmery. Also used peel-offs, which is the gold images shown. They were open images, so we could paint with different colors.
It's a gate fold which opens with the front pieces opening in opposite directions. Very cool!

Close up of the corner flourishes.
Good look at how this opens. Showing what it on each front panel.
Second card also done using the chip board frame. We colorized the frame with alcohol inks, then stamped image, coloring the image with color pencils. The bird image is one of 4 new Magenta images for the holiday season.
The third card is using cork!! Wow!! We had to choose our pieces to fit on a certain size square, similar to putting a puzzle together.  Then we colored the cork pieces with alcohol inks, added the peel-off ornaments and painted inside the openings of the ornaments with the USArt Quest paints.
 Close up of the ornaments.
The last card is also a new holiday image. We stamped with Sepia Brown Versafine, then colored over with color pencils. Once colored, take a tissue and smooth out the coloring, spreading the color in the white areas around the image. The bird is also a cork image, then colored with alcohol inks.
Hope you enjoyed the cards. I sure did. It is always great to be IN a class instead of teaching a class.

Have a good day!
