Autumn...

Morning folks,

Here I am with my card for the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog....yes I know it's late...I forgot!

The theme this fortnight is autumn.

For my card I have used one of the Concord & 9th turnabout stamps, I stamped the matching pumpkins and leaves and then dies cut them, layered everything onto the card and hey presto....not my best but I think it's ok.

Happy Birthday...

Howdy folks,

It's time for a new challenge over on the  Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog.  The theme this fortnight is something masculine, remember the main focus should be stamped.

I made this card for my son's birthday at the end of April, jeezo he is 31!! I stamped the balloons in 3 different colours and overlapped them a bit, I added the strings and the sentiment, I finished with some splashes.  I couldn't add any sparkle to this one since it's for a man.

Hello Friend...

Morning folks,

It's time for a new challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme is anything goes with the option of using the sketch below.  You can interpret it however you like as long as the main focus is stamping...after all we are a stamping challenge blog.  We also have a fab prize of Oakwood bundle of stamps and/or dies.

For my card I have used some little leaf stamps and stamped them in a circle, overlapping them as I went along.  I wasn't sure it was going in the right direction but I kept with it and it's turned out ok.

O Christmas Tree...

Hi folks,

I thought I would share this wee card I made this afternoon.  I have had this stamp set for ages and not had the chance to use it until today.  This was just a quick card, the trees are individual stamps so stamped them separately in different colours, I thought the sentitment fitted perfectly under the trees, I added a tiny amount of splashes and sequins.

Hope you like it.

For those of you who know me...I love Elvis, so here's a wee card I made using Oddball Elvis which I coloured with copics, I jazzed up his suit with glitter.  The happy birthday stamp is from concord & 9th, I used the glue stamp pad for the middle happy and stuck some fine glitter to that....I was trying to get the Elvis in Vegas look ha ha!

Kiwi hang out soon?

Happy Saturday!

Just popping on to share this fun card I have made.  I love this stamp set and don't know why I never noticed it sooner.  The stamp set is from Concord & 9th...isn't it cool.

I inked up some watercoloured card with lots of water and then I dropped a little green watercoloured ink on top....it was cool the effect it made, so I just kept repeating that process with different shades until I thought it looked kind of kiwi like.  Once dry I stamped the kiwi's and die cut them out and added this fab sentiment...oh and I die cut the hello.  I added some doodled edges in white...never doodled in white before but I think it look fine for this fun card.

Orange so you...

Well 2 cards in one day!

And this is something different from m...and I said it wouldn't be leaves or blue and green....I white embossed the fruit slices and then watercoloured with concord & 9th watercolour ink.  I die cut some black and white slices and the word "sweet" and layered onto the card.  I added some sequins to finish.

Butterfly kisses...

Morning everyone, it's time for the mid month post over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  The theme is anything goes, with the option of wings or tails but remember the main focus of the card should be stamped.

We have a fabulous sponsor this month...they are giving one lucky winner a stamp bundle.

For my card I have used the butterfly turnabout stamp from concord & 9th which I have actually had for a while but only used elements of the set in the past and I think this is the first time I have used it as a turnabout.  I stamped 3 rounds of the butterflies with the same coloured ink as the card and the 4th round I stamped with versamark and embosssed with gold glitter embossing powder.  I added some extra gold glitter to parts of the butterflies too.  I stamped the large butterfly (from the same set) in black ink onto the same coloured card and then die cut it.  I layered the butterfly onto the card along with some small gold glitter butterflies and added the sentiment which I white embossed.

Merry Christmas...

 Hey folks,

It's time for the mid month inspiration post over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge Blog.  A reminder that the theme is anything goes with the option of using a die.

We have a fabulous sponsor this month...

Prize is a £25 prize package from Oakwood Archer

For my card I used the Concord & 9th turnaround snowflakes stamp which I white embossed. I then added some grey ink around the edges and added some glitter over the snowflakes.  I die cut the trees and layered them on top of the card although it's hard to see but depending on the brightness you have set you might be able to see it fine.

Oh Christmas tree...

 Happy New Year everybody!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog.  This month's theme is some thing new...new baby, new home, new stash...happy new year!.

I have used some of my new stash, the stamp and die set is from Concord & 9th, I inked up the stamps with black ink and stamped onto white card, I then coloured the letters different Christmassy colours and die cut them.  I added some silver leaf sprinkles to the card and layered on the words, I added some sequins to finish.

Happy Birthday...

Good morning folks.

It's time for another challenge over on the Stamping Sensations Challenge blog.  The theme this month is "anything stamped goes".

We have a fabulous sponsor this month...

Stix 2 are giving our lucky winner an assortment of mount foam, foil, glitter and various glues and tapes....goodies that never go wrong!

For my card I found inspiration on Pinterest, I stamped the letters on the solid colour first, then stamped with the outline....that was tricky lining these up but I think I managed.  I then stamped the happy and birthday overlapping the solid letters, I die cut the parcel and layered it on to the card. I made a couple of tassles using my fringe flower die...added some splashes, sequins to finish.

Merry Christmas...

Happy Saturday!

It's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog.  This month's theme is anything Christmas goes.

My card is kind of plain but it did take me a wee while to line the letters up...not sure if the card needs something else.  I stamped the letters with sea glass ink, I then decided it would be a good idea to stamp the M with an outline in black.  I then stamped the word Christmas in black and then finished with some sequins and dots.

Happy Birthday...

Good morning stampers!

It's birthday week over on the Sweet Stampin Challenge blog...the Sweet Stampin Challenge is 12 years old...how did that happen?

Well this wasn't really what I had in mind, I wanted to die cut different letters and have a layer on top but after playing about with my scan n cut....with the help of Cass, I gave up and went back to the dies!

So first I added some watercolours to the card and left it to dry, I then die cut the letters and stamped the outline over the top, didn't want the black line to be perfect (I deliberately did that lol) and added some sticky fixers, I then stamped some little flowers, stamped the birthday and finished with some dots and sequins.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

Hi folks,

Well some news today, I have been asked to join the DT team over on the Stamping Sensations Blog which I am so chuffed about and here's my first card.  The theme is Christmas in November...how easy is that with Christmas fast approaching.

For my card I cut a piece of watercolour card and stamped the snowflake background with versamark ink and then white embossed it (love this technique).  I then randomly added some colour using watercolour ink and swooshed it around. Once it was dry I added a piece of washi tape in a contrasting colour, this is the first time I have used washi tape and I quite like it. I then stamped up some trees with coordinating ink and die cut them and layered them on top of the washi tape strip.  I stamped a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set....and the usual sequins, gems and pearls to finish, hope you like it.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas...

Hi folks,

A wee mid week evening post from me.

I ordered this stamp and die set a few weeks ago and I must admit it is fab! I had a play about with it at the weekend and this is what I came up with.

I have a few of these turnabout stamps...once you get the knack of working out how to use them then they are great.  I also used various ink pads from Concord & 9th and added some little gems and sequins to finish.

Hope you like.
