Sunday Stash Report- Week 18 of 2011

It's the start of something beautiful!  I have a summer planning list {I'll post this tomorrow}

I have some more lovely fabrics in my stash.

Since I'm so tired of driving I've postponed my trips to Portland or Boise {sorry Mom!!}.  I 'had' to buy these fabrics for my Japanese Fabric Swap.  Which is totally true because I don't have such fabrics in my stash.  This is why I'm participating in this swap.  The flickr group is gonna show some amazing things. . go check it out

These fabrics also came in my order..adore Urban Chicks.
I love the different colorways in the same pattern.
I'm thinking borders for some blocks.

Oh and these two awesome Joel Dewberry prints.  I have more purple now. I also adore Joel Dewberry anything.

And during my multiple trips to Walla Walla, WA I went ahead and I stopped by Jo-Ann's and picked up these awesome magazines.  No fabric purchases.

Japanese Imports Fabric Swap

Well, AnneMarie over at Gen X Qulters she is hosting a new swap.  {YEAH} This woman has serious energy!

Gen X Quilters

Who could resist this one. As I live in a rurual part of Oregon, I will have to order something on-line but hey in return I get to play with yummy other fabrics to put into a quilt.  I might even consider getting something that I'll fussy cut .. WOW.

Pretty exciting!  I apparently got in just under the wire.  There are 28 participants that filled in under 36 hours.  I love it.  There is a flickr group for our fabrics and creations.

Sunday Stash Report - Week 2 of 2011

I'm starting 2011 cheering and totally thrilled with the projects I want to complete.

As for fabric, I've fallen off the fabric wagon again.  Le'sigh.

Kona Your WorldI've obtained my Kona Fabric for the swap.  I got these on Monday afternoon and here's the fat quarter pile to exchange Monday evening.  It's lovely Bahama Blue! See my previous posts HERE or HERE

My totals in and out maybe skewed but no matter. This totally makes me feel as if I've accomplished a grand feat.  I so can't wait to see what I get back!

So while ordering for the Kona swap, I might have purchased some other items during the end of the year sales from sewfreshfabrics  and sewdeerlyloved  oh and also from my local fabric store.

Here is a photo of the additional Kona's I now have on hand and a few prints for good measure.

And some prints.  Specifically some that are adding to my constant search for oranges.  Oranges that will be made into a quilt for me me me.

While these don't fit the bill perfectly they plus a Christmas gift from my bestest girlfriend will go into a quilt.  I'm hoping the Postage Stamp Quilt Along that Rachel @ p.s. i quilt is hosting(post to follow later)

All I can say is YUM!

Kona Your World

Oh as if there wasn't enough for me to do and try.  I'm going to add my name into this lovely swap that I just came across.  So I'll be gathering some Kona solids - more than likely a yummy purple shade - to swap with other's.  Check it out and gather be sure to get there before 12/31/10 if you are interested yourself.

I'll be using whatever I recieve back in something with white since I bought yards upon yards of 108" wide white this past weekend.  YEAH!
