I was so excited to hear that Let's Ink It Up Monthly Challenge Blog was returning & was even MORE EXCITED when Suzanne e-mailed me asking if I'd like to return to the 'new team'!! Of course I hesitated for like a nanosecond before telling her I'd be more than happy to return!! YAY!! She had a DT call & we now have a great new team who will be presenting you with monthly inspiration!
To start things off for the month of October we have a challenge that is fitting to the fact that this is breast cancer awareness month. Our challenge is to :
CREATE SOMETHING PINK!
REMEMBER: You must use rubber stamps here at Let's Ink It Up!
Our sponsor for October is Mad 4 Markers offering up a Prize Package Copicendium and stamp

Now, I'm not really a pink girl, but I think I was able to make you think otherwise with this little creation.
This is Sweet Thinking Mae from Some Odd Girl & she comes with the sentiment & frame. What? Rubber? Yup, there are a bunch of clear stamps available at Some Odd Girl, really, you must head over & check them out!! Now I'm sure you think you must be having DeJaVu to, cuz I just used this little beauty yesterday on a tag. Truth be told, she is my fave stamp set I own! So very versatile and that frame can be used for ANY sentiment!
I "attempted" my first no lines stamping. This stamp was inked up with memento black ink & stamped off 3 times WITHOUT reinking. This is the result of the third stamp. Still you can kinda see the lines....I think I need more practice!!
This shape of the card is from Susie Sugars Die Cut Dreams Store that I got a VERY long time ago....slowly I am plucking my way thru all the gorgeous shapes. Pink & white lace & flowers are from WOC. There is a piece of pink fabric behind Mae that I literally found laying around & thought "hey I should keep this". And the pink ribbon is a piece that came on a package of toiletries. I did not use any DP......rather I stamped some swirls from a SU stamp set. I added some stitching and Voila!
Actually, Mae was colored ALL with copics too. I am slowly acquiring more (I've added more colors to my collection so as to get some diff hair colors). I'm pleased with how she turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
And I hope to see you at the Let's Ink It Up challenge this month!
EDITED- October 4, 2011
I also just noticed the let's Link Up for Pink linky party going on at a few blogs in blogland. I found this out thru the Feline Playful blog and if I'm still eligible, I'd like to enter this into the LUFP link
What a great reason to gather together as bloggers & friends!
I'll be sending this card to the address found HERE in the hopes of making someone smile!
