Something you may not know while on the plane
I've been travelling a lot recently to visit friends and attend weddings. December, a good month for weddings huh.
There's something I guess most of you/the people don't know. I see people unfasten their seat belt when the seat belt sign is off, or when the sign is not even off, people think it's OK to unfasten. In fact, it's not OK at all, you have to fasten your seat belt throughout your journey.
Turbulence can be detected or predicted. Pilots would on the seat belt sign to inform the passengers to fasten their seat belt.
What can't be predicted or detected? Air pocket, also known as air hole.
Definition from the web:
- a localized region of low air density or a descending air current, causing an aircraft to suffer an abrupt decrease in height.
Get it get it? It's like a hole. When there's an air pocket, the airplane drops until there's a higher air density. Sometimes few air pocket occurs in an area, so the airplane drops and becomes normal, then drops again.
It's really a scary situation when people who have no seat belts on, they would be seriously injured. Things in the plane would be a mess. You can imagine la, when a plane drops, you're like a ball being rolled here and there. People who had this experience would call this a near to death experience (I worked in an airline before and dealt with a case like this).
I would always go to the washroom before I board and try not to leave my seat when I'm on the plane. Air pocket, it's unpredictable.
Listen to the pilot or air crews when they ask you to switch off your phone, electronic devices, when they ask you to upright your seats, when they teach you the safety stuffs, etc. There's always a reason behind these rules, so listen to them and do what they ask you to do. They are the professionals.
Still wanna unfasten your seat belt? Spread this to your loved ones.

Oh...I didn't know that!
I watched a show on Channel E about nails. They were having kids pageant. The kids were entitled to have a complementary manicure. One of the kids told the manicurist, Katie, that she wants a French nail and the parent agreed. Katie was shocked and told the kid "French nail is only for adults." In fact, she said BTS that "French nail is reserved by brides or...porn star."
This is French nail, in case you don't know.
Then I remembered a friend asked me "Why so many ladies (in Brunei) like to do French nail? I normally see that on the porn stars." I was like "Nola...."
I didn't know that in the Western countries, French nail is normally for brides or porn stars. lol New thing!

Katy Perry- California girls
I love this video lo!
Vui told me at first and I thought that the song has nothing special.
After few times of listening to it, it's actually a nice song lo!
Love their costumes and designs!
Now I know studio can be a dancing studio, music school or photoshoot studio.
When my friend said that we are going to meet at studio, I will expect it's a dancing studio with mirror.
But I always find myself in somewhere else and wondering if I'm in a right place.

Words affect water
I received an interesting e-mail.
Believe or not? Water can be affected by our words.
Dr Masaru Emoto has proved that.
He tried to say, “You make me sick. I will kill you.” and the water droplets look like this through the microscope.

Below is how water looked like with the words “Love” over it.

72% of our body is made up of water.
No wonder people say if you are angry, u will look old faster.
So, let's say nice words from now on. "I'm pretty."
Yes! done one assignment and there is 2 more I think.
Tomorrow Japanese test, Ganbatte kudasai!
I thought I can't go back Seria this week, as I have mistaken, I have joined table tennis tournament for double next week, not single this week! Yay!
I got a dancing performance in conjunction with the earth hour. Hope it jadi la.

International women's and men's day
14th March, we got another table tennis tourney at Menglait. Chien told me that there is not man-man match, but only woman-woman or man-woman, because it will be Women's day. I thought it's women's day for that tourney, but she said it's International Women's Day. Then I, "Wow, there's such thing like that huh?"

Wiki:
International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women. Wuuu~~~
So, I have to achieve something then. I have achieved to study in UBD ^^ and if I won any match in the table tennis tourney, I achieved 'winning'. If I lose, then I achieve 'courage'. ^^ 自我安慰。We may be going out to have dinner on 14th after the tourney to celebrate xD
There is International Men's day too.
Wiki:
The objectives of celebrating an International Men's Day include focusing on men's and boy's health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models. It is an occasion for men to highlight discrimination against them and to celebrate their achievements and contributions, in particular for their contributions to community, family, marriage, and child care.

International Men's Day (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated on November 19. Inaugurated in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago, the day and its events find support from a variety of individuals and groups in Australia, the Caribbean, North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United Nations. Speaking on behalf of UNESCO, Director of Women and Culture of Peace Ingeborg Breines said of IMD, “This is an excellent idea and would give some gender balance.” She added that UNESCO was looking forward to cooperating with IMD organizers.

Zipper bags?
There's always a reason for every creation.
I asked, "Why they use blue and yellow for the zipper bag but not other colours?"
I asked, "Why they use blue and yellow for the zipper bag but not other colours?"
Then I found at the packaging it says,
"Blue and yellow will become green to let u know that it's closed."
^^
Yesterday went to arcade, not to play the games but to collect the tickets (to exchange stuffs).
Friends gave me. How much?
my pocket had no enough space and have to "borrow" someone else's pocket.
Hua counted nearly 700 tickets, wonder if he counted wrong.
Ciao to do my workS.

Happy Xmas!
Helo people,
Holiday activities for u! I would like to inform you that my aunt is organizing a Family Weekend Festival located at Yayasan Shopping Complex from the 26th to 28th December 2008. Under the attachment is a poster about the festival. There will be a lot of interesting activities such as colouring contests and huge bouncers and more!

People in Norway and Sweden used to build their wooden houses round a large pine tree. The tip of the tree was left free and decorated when the roof is completed. The reason for this was that people thought a tree god lived in each tree. The decorations were supposed to keep the tree god happy.
Our Xmas tree tradition grew from this pre-Christian custom. To this day, however, in many parts of Northern Europe, a small fir tree is often fixed to the top of a new house to bring its owner luck.
