FAQ: Why do you take make up course when you're a BBA holder?

Is it surprise to know that a Bachelor of Business Admin (BBA) holder is taking make up course? A lot of people, basically everyone who asked me, were shocked to hear when I said "I just done my degree, and I'm taking make up courses." They think it's weird like, how Business course relate to Make up course. HOW HOW!!??

When I was in Form 6:

I considered taking beauty course, learning skin and facial. However, I am born with sensitive pimply skin, leaving a bit scars, which I don't think it's persuasive when I wanna open up a beauty business, no matter how good am I (most people look at packaging yea). 

2nd reason, my dad said it would be more stable if I have a higher education. At least if I fail in any business that I wanna open, I have a degree cert to work in other companies. 

Around the age of 16:

I have this interest for beauty and make up. I understand how sensitive skin works, because I have one. I dislike when those salespersons approach me and say "This product can cure your pimples." F*ck you, you see any pimples on my face? Show me show me!!! These are the scars, and your product can't sure scars *kick ass*. 

Because I have a not-so-pretty skin, I started to make up to beautify myself. After that, I learnt that it's not about beautify my skin, but the whole face. 

Age 16: I took my first make-up course that costs around BND$200. It's a personal make up course.

Age 20: I took the second one to learn new stuffs, costs BND 100+. I also went to various make up workshops.

Age 23: I decided to take a professional make up course. Mainly to learn how to make up people and make them pretty :)

P/S: I spend so much money to be a professional make up artist. It's not right to ask for a free make up lesson for you, ok~

OK. Why I learn make up?

For me, BBA is just a knowledge. We learn from there how to run a business. But....what kind of business should we own? It's not like doctor, pharmacist, an artist, engineer, etc. Business is Very Very general. 

I don't have special skills. I don't play good piano, I'm bad in sports, can't sing well, not a fashion designer, half bucket water of graphic design, etc. I don't have a skill which I can be proud of. I may know a lot of stuffs, but I'm not an expert at any one of them.

If I only have that BBA cert, I think, unless I meet a really good opportunity, I would be just working for people, in banks or office. 

In addition, I'm not a person who can sit on a chair for long hours, doing the same thing everyday. I doze off every time, I'm serious. Sometimes I even go to my car and nap for a 10 min. 

I like active works! May be works with discussions, creativity...or outstation. I would love a job which needs me to travel around, that would be cool ^^

So I decided to take make up as my professional skill. If one day I got fired, or I fire my boss, I still can work by myself. 

It's all because there was one day, I asked myself "What skill do I have besides studying all day here to get a degree cert? I know nothing except for submitting my coursework and fill up my exam paper. I joined PSK or PSR but I still suck at table tennis. I don't know how to play music. I only know how to make up myself, but not people. Seriously, what else do I know besides completing my degree? NOTHING!"

I am a learner since young. I like to learn new stuff. During Uni, I learnt quite a few things like graphic design, Japanese, design a web and game, photography, etc. After my degree, I took piano class. I waited for my graduation ceremony, and went to take my make up course immediately. I don't wanna waste any seconds in my life. I just wanna get everything done asap, and I needa job so desperately!

I was craving for spaghetti. Carol and me then agreed to dine in Country Patch.
I like spaghetti in cream sauce/carbonara. I dislike those with tomato paste.
One friend said "High budget o!" Well for me, I don't give a damn on the price if I really crave for it. As long as it's affordable of course. Who would know what happen tomorrow and you can't a chance to eat such delicious foods again.
So eat when you can, exercise after that, earn back after that.

Do it when you see it

Every Monday would be a very interesting day for me because that's when "Photograph Journalism" class is held. I would share the skills I learnt if I find it interesting.

A very important attitude of a photographer is "Do it when you see it". Im talking especially about landscape now. You think the sky is nice today then take a photo of it. If you're thinking of taking the next day, the sky may be different in terms of colour, shapes of clouds, etc.
If you think that girl is pretty, praise her, who knows the prettiness only stays for that day because the spell is going to be expired! [ok, whatever lol]

Few days ago, I just did "Do it when you see it". I actually wanna twitter it but I was out of credit.

It doesn't look special here, especially when I took it using my 8mp-but-doesn't-look-like-8mp phone camera.
The moon was round and big and looks low in "reality". However it looks small in the photo.

So, when are you going to see a moon like that again? So, do it when you see it.

My assignment this week is to take a photo of a landscape. Hmm...I have one idea in my mind already, hope it works.

Big Eyes make-up workshop

Yes, since it's holiday, so do something meaningful.

So I attended this make-up course at Seri by iMany Faces.
Actually, few years back, I attended a basic make-up course, coached by the same person, Jasmine.

The recent make-up course I attended is Big Eyes Make-up Workshop.
Taught how to do day and night make up, how to apply eyelid sticker, how to apply fake eyelashes, etc.

Fees is *ka-ching ka-ching*. If you know, make-up courses are never cheap.

The reasons why I attended this course are to know other ways to do better make-up, and to know some girls.
The colleagues are friendly, and they got so much to talk. I felt I was super quiet there.

It was 6+ hours course.
Comment? Ya, I learnt something.

The weather really has to be that HOT!!??

I'm forced to be in the library to share the aircon with them.

Life of UNI is okay. This week wont be having any class until next week. We have at least 2 hrs continuously lecture everyday, today's 1 hr lecture almost made me to sleep yawn. It's not boring, but I cannot stand listening to people for a long period of time.

The class which I enjoy the most is Japan class.

When the tutor came in, she spoke Japanese like we understand =.= But, we have already known some Japano words.

I want to go to Japan one day when I earn money. I mean I REALLY want to go even though I'm not that rich, this is my dream ^^ and accompanion?

I feel this article

After few days of deciding, searching and asking for advice, finally I have submitted HECAS to UBD and ITB. Why HECAS? We can do it by forms for FREE, no lagging or disconnected.

The "Death" article attracted me. It's about the Kennedy's. Tears drop when I read this article.

I don't feel well as I pening car. I feel headache and energy-less for hours. So I didnt get to ask much questions at UBD. DST is making good money recently. GCE results are related to them, we have to pay $3 for the results; and now even we apply UBD, ITB, UNISSA, we have to pay DST too!!??

That couple went to watch movie. This is the 1st time I get that bored when I go Bandar. I stay at snowhouse for about 2 hours. 2 hours is killing me okay~ Lucky I go to snowhouse as a friend but not customer. So I can online and walk up and down. STILL KILLING ME LA!! Friend (guy) saying, "I don accompany girls." Urhh, what a gay~

I Love You

Met many friends, they went up to Bandar with the purpose of visiting the Expo, to look for Uni. That's one of my purpose too, at the same time, I went to BBb interview.

My very first time interview, I have no idea how would it be. It was relax since we (with the interviewer) know each other (friend's friend). I wanted to maintain my serious-ness but still I laughed HAHA =.= I was stucked when he asked me to describe MORE about myself. If I'm shortlisted, then I will get another SERIOUS interview. Hope I can get it!! Guess most probably working in bandar if I'm recruited.

Since results had released. There are open days in different colleges, the open days' DATES and the procedures have to be remembered. Reading "Life after smsa for KB-ians" with more than 1000 words and my brain is going to burst! Planner is my very best friend now.

When heart attack happens...

I forgot to blog yesterday because of Gossip Girl wohoo!

Yesterday's class is a nice one + heart attack. There's another way of saving money, investing in shares. There's stable and unstable shares. It's like a gamble. Unstable shares can drop from $6 to $1, that's when people go bankrupt, war start and committing suicide happens. Stable shares do not earn much but it's a stable one.


Even listening to the class make me heart attack. What to say if I really play it? One lot is for eg, $3000+. Then you sometimes can hear from people that, "I have lost $20 000." I can buy a 2nd hand car. People get addicted and crazy of this kind of investment.
