You don't need anyone to tell you that I am so far behind on blogging. It's really a no brainer. This is my lame attempt at trying to catch up. It might take a day or two considering I am about to pass out from exhaustion at this point.
Here are some random happening from my life is the past few weeks.
*I am currently working for the United States Census Bureau. It has been great so far and I really enjoy it. I am hoping to keep working for as long as possible. It has made things really busy, but a good busy. And it's a little extra income. Can't complain about that.
*Dustyn entered two pieces into the
Springville Museum of Art Spring Salon. I hope this year is his year. We should know by the end of next week.
*Remember when I told you about the Pine Wood Derby? Oh yeah... well... he lost. But he sure had fun being a loser. :)
*I am a horrible friend. Remember back when I posted the Pay It Forward Challenge? My awesome friend
Shelly sent me a gift. I received it about a week ago and have no posted about it yet. She sent me this cute bracelet. I love it and think it is so cute! Thanks so much

(And to those who commented, I still have not forgotten about you. I will mail it out before the end of the year. lol. No really, I will.)
*Over General Conference weekend, Dustyn and I went to SLC to visit friends and family. On Friday we meet up with two of my BFFs.
Aubrey and
Marci. (Marci even makes cute
cards!) We met at McGrath's and had a great time. (and of course the food was good) I seriously think they are pretty cool.
We also went and visited
Arianne and her cute family. It was fun to meet her little Miss and hang out and tease Miss A. She
loves it when I tease her. ;)
*We were able to attend the Saturday AM session of conference. Wonderful. I loved every session but it was so great to be there in person for one of them. Dustyn and Brandon were also able to attend the Priesthood Session.
*We stayed at JaKell and Brandon's house on Saturday Night. It was good to see them and hang out with my favorite kids. I love them and miss them way too often. I wish we could see them more often. We drove home and brought them with us so they could spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa. They had the entire week off of school for Spring Break.
On the way home we were listening to Eclipse. The kids thought it was so great. (I don't think they were really listening or had any idea what in the world it was) When we would stop for a bathroom break or something, they would ask, "Will you please turn on that talking again." It made me laugh. I think they just liked the background noise.
*Oh yeah, then there was that day that I clamped down on my ear with my straightener. Lovely.
