new things in the shop

I've been adding lots of new things in the shop over the last few weeks but keep on forgetting to mention it here! The 2014 wall calendar and planners are up now, as well as birch trays and cutting boards, and some new tea towels and zipper pouches too. I've been really wanting to move more into textiles, but am realizing that it takes a lot of time to roll out a new product - I'm making mistakes left and right and learning a lot along the way. Plus, I still really love working on the planners and wall calendar, and they seem to do pretty well every year.

I also pulled together a new and very simple website, but for now Etsy will probably still be my main shop.

2013 planners

Whew - the planners are finally in the shop! This is the first year I have weekly planners (top two photos), something that I'd been wanting to do for awhile but was always afraid to because of the time and extra cost. I finally figured that I should just try it and see how it goes. I'm not sure how many people use physical planners these days, but I find that sometimes it's nice to be able to flip open a planner to jot something down or look something up.

2013 wall calendar + a giveaway

Yay, the 2013 wall calendar is done and in the shop! I feel like this year's calendar is quite different from last year's. It really reflects how my tastes and styles have changed, no doubt influenced by trends, but hopefully still true to myself.

I've also been entering some of the recent design challenges on Minted. I honestly think they have some of the best photo cards out there, and have been inspired and stretched by all the talented designers in the Minted community. 2012 wall calendar

new goodies in the shop.. and a giveaway!

I've just put some new goodies in the shop - a month later than I had planned. It's just a partial shop update with the 2012 pocket planners, as well as a couple of new notecard sets. I hope to put up some of the new textile goods I've been working on by the end of the month.

It feels so good to have something in the shop again. To celebrate, I thought I'd do a giveaway for one of the 2012 planners - just leave a comment telling me which is your favorite planner by next Wednesday, October 19th and I'll randomly pick and announce a winner then.

Now that we're back from vacation, I hope to make some progress on new textile goods for the shop. Just looking at this fresh pile of fabric makes me a little scared but excited!

Finally.. they're in the shop! I'll try to keep them in stock for as long as I can, but expect that I'd have to close the shop for a bit when the baby arrives. It's been over 6 months since I've updated my shop, it feels so good to be doing this again!

mini clips

As promised, I've finally added some new items to the shop! These little fabric-covered wooden clips are the first non-paper items in my shop. Each set is unique, and there is definitely a bit more "handmade-ness" to it than my cards and notebooks. I really enjoyed making these, and had a lot of fun mixing and matching colors and patterns. Hope you guys like them too! Oh, and new jotter designs should be coming soon as well.

pocket workbooks

I was working on new jotter designs and ended up taking a little detour to make these mini saddle-stitched workbooks for the shop. They come in 3 different designs in 2 colorways, and can be filled with either blank, lined, or gridded paper. I'm hoping to have new jotters (the little perfect-bound notebooks) ready to put into the shop sometime next week. Hope you guys like these ones!

Pack o' pretty paper

There's something exciting about seeing a bunch of cute patterns next to each other. I think that's part of what makes quilting and patchwork so much fun. So I thought I'd put together a few of my patterns into little paper packs for the shop. People can use them for whatever they want - cards, gift tags, collages, scrapbooking, etc. Most of the patterns appear in my pocket jotters or planners, but there are a few that are new.





Now if only they would magically turn into fat quarters..
