It was rainy day...

On a rainy day I usually find time to craft. Today I managed to craft many umbrellas. Although the day is gray may these umbrellas brighten the day.

Needels and pins

Spring-like colors and a book full of wonderful ideas. I was inspired to make pin cushions and little idea books.

Newspaper

This time, I shrank the daily newspaper. The newspaper is printed on two-sid as the real ones are and it has a total of 16 pages. It is a pretty hefty reading package for dollhouse residents.

Kittens and fishes

Lea Frisoni sold such cute little cats in her Etsy-store and I just had to adopt two myself. What can I say .. I'm a cat person. Gold Fish bowls are made by me a few months ago. Kittens were immediately watering their paws to the fish bowl. I wonder how this is going to end?

Mariskooli bowl

Mariskooli bowls are made by Saara. I bought the moss green bowl from her. Saara surprised me by sending the clear bowl as a gift. She wrote to me that the clear bowl is irregular but in my opinion it is perfect little bowl. Thank you Saara!

11th December

Yesterday and today there has been many christmas markets and events in my town. Yesterday me and my daughter went to the Renovation Centre Toivo and the Korsman house.
First we visited the Korsman House, which was the Korsman family’s home, circa 1951. Here we made ourself at home with three lovely ladies who gave us a cup coffee and rice pudding, and we sit down and relax to the popular tones of the 50s. It was so lovely.

After the pudding we went to this workshop where my daughter made the mouse you see the picture below. We made together also these traditional christmas gnomes. Iiris made the smaller one all by herself. I got the idea for the wooden christmas trees from the workshop but I eventually made that at home because Iiris got little bit tired.

I forgot to take the picture of todays gift I sent to Torhild. I sent for her a white "Hjem" sign. It is Norwegian and it means home.
Torhild gave me this very elegant christmas wreath. Tiina gave me her homemade ceramic which are so stunning. She also gave me the tiny birdcage. The trivet is made by Heli.
