Round We Go Floral Frenzy Banner!

I am excited to share a fun floral birthday banner today using the Round We Go Bundle!  These flowers are made in just a few fun and easy steps and make it so convenient to share bright and happy birthday cheer with anyone special you are celebrating!

Creating gorgeous WOW! projects is easier than you might think—and these paper flowers are the perfect example of that! When you have such a fun bundle like Round We Go to work with, in just a few simple steps these gorgeous paper flowers are ready to wow! Turning the flowers into a festive birthday banner gives you a convenient decoration to display anywhere to surprise your loved ones on their special day!

Here are the products you will need to make your own banner!

Round We Go Bundle (163730)
Countryside Corners Dies (161471)
Bough Punch (157711)
Petunia Pop Cardstock (163801)
Summer Splash Cardstock (163797)
Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock (144245)
Peach Pie Cardstock (163799)
Pretty in Pink Cardstock (163793)
Basic White Cardstock (159276)
Basic Black Cardstock (121045)
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (149612)
Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad (147107)
VersaMark Ink Pad (102283)
Water Painters (151298)
Stampin’ Spritzer (126185)
Petal Pink & White 1/4" (6.4 mm) Diagonal Trim Combo Pack (163417)
Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (160449)
Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (165679)
Stapler
Hole Punch
Rubbing Alcohol

And now are some tips to help you make it yourself!

Stamp a confetti image in VersaMark ink on watercolor paper, then emboss it with white embossing powder. This creates a “resist” for the ink, so when you add color, the stamped images still show. Color the banner piece over the embossed images by using a Water Painter and Pool Party ink. Tip: Before opening the ink pad, squeeze it together so that the lid is squishing onto the ink pad. This creates a little pool of ink in the top of the lid, making it easy to grab the ink with your Water Painter.

Paper flower time! Die cut six large scallop shapes from cardstock. Stack the layers together and staple twice in the middle, overlapping the staples. Grab a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol and spritz the top flower layer. Scrunch that layer up towards the center. Repeat by spritzing the layers and scrunching them up, creating the full flower. Gasp as you see a few flat layers of cardstock become something so special and gorgeous! Repeat with different color cardstocks and/or the pointy scallop die to make as many flowers as you want!

Die cut five daisies. Using a Mini Glue Dot between each layer, adhere the layers together, alternating the petals. Then, just pull the petals up towards the center and add a Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearl to the center.

Adhere the flowers to the banner pieces, scrunching them close to each other for a full look. Add some leaves with the Bough Punch and any greeting you want!

Hip Hip Hooray...It's A Birthday Party Day!

My baby girl just turned 5.  We love a good celebration at our house, so of course we had some birthday fun with her!  (She was SOOOOOOO excited it was finally her turn for a birthday!!!)  Today I just wanted to share a cute & quick little favor bag I made.  I couldn't find exactly what I wanted at the store, so I just grabbed some Kraft bags and decided I would just add a special little touch to them...

I used some retired products on here (I'm sorry!) but I wanted to show how much fun it is to just add a few special details to make it a wow bag.  My birthday girl even commented on it.  She notices it, and says so excitedly--"I LOVE this little piece on it, Mom!!!"  It was so cute and melted my heart!  Here is a bit of a close-up:

And the cute birthday herself...

And the birthday girl with her sisters...

I hope you enjoy this quick idea!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Picture Perfect Party...Room Decor:

Do you use your Stampin' Up! supplies for party decor?  I have to admit...it's one of my very favorite things to do with my supplies!  😀  I love a festive party that makes people feel loved, spoiled, happy, excited, and party ready!  I partner with a friend and we do a couple demonstrator training events a year, and I ALWAYS have this as a goal of mine.  In THIS POST I shared a fun snack table we had.  Well...today I am sharing the room decor!  Check out how fun and festive it feels...

LOVE LOVE the balloons, colors, etc!  This is probably one of my faves that we did...maybe because it was all about Stampin' Up!'s 30th Birthday!!!!  🙌

I sewed this banner together using the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper stack and some coordinating colored cardstock.  It was A LONG LONG LONG banner, and actually went around the entire room.  (I get a little nuts sometimes.  Haha.)

The tables felt so festive and fun also.  Have to admit...wish I grabbed better pics of the centerpieces.  They were pretty cute...

And then there was a bag they could fill up at the snack bar...

And a festive water bottle...

All in all, it felt so festive and fun!  A LOT of work goes into these events, and a LOT of fun (and learning) is had by all!  (We invite all demonstrators--and those that are thinking about becoming a demonstrator--so let me know if you would like to know about upcoming events!  They are held in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.)

Let me know if you have any questions!

Picture Perfect Party...

Back in February, my friend and I threw a fun Stampin' Up! 30th Birthday Party as part of a demonstrator training that we did.  I just realized that I haven't shared some of the fun parts of this event yet!  Today I want to share one of my fave parts...the fun snack table we made!  We used the Picture Perfect Party Suite as our theme for the event.  LOVE the colors and fun papers that are in this suite.  Here's how it came together for our snack table...

Kinda fun, huh?!  Love the bright colors.  And LOVING these frames...

There is something about a crisp white frame with some bright colors that make my heart happy. 😍

And the banner was pretty fun also, if I do say so myself.  😀

Lots of ribbons & accessories were used on these projects with the main supplies being the Picture Perfect Party 6x6 Designer Series Paper Pack & the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set.  Swoon!! 💕

Let me know if you have any questions on this!  I hope you enjoy these projects!!!

Stampin' Spectacular...Pre On Stage Event:

Oh Stampin' Up!...how I love you!  It has brought SO. MUCH. GOOD into my life.  I just attended a fabulous On Stage (it's a big convention) event that I will share more about soon.  Today I want to tell you about an event I went to before the official Stampin' Up! event.  It was put on by one of my dear friends, Robyn.  She is a rockstar and we had SUCH a good time.  I helped with decor, did a display table, as well as a presentation.  Get ready for some photo overload...I just figured I would tell you about this event via photo...

First up...here is the event space:

Aren't those tote bags that everyone received SOOOOOO cute??!??!  😍😍😍 And the centerpieces I made turned out pretty cute also, if I do say so myself.  Hee hee...

Love that orchid bundle!!  And this color combo....SWOON!!!!  Gold, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, and black....SO. Beautiful!!!

There was a fun banner across the stage too...but I didn't get a great pic of it.  I'm sorry!!!

And it wouldn't be a good representation of one of these types of events if I didn't share the main thing that I LOVE about Stampin' Up! My heart lies SO MUCH with the people that I have met through this company.  My heart wants to burst when I think about it.  So enjoy some pics of our crazy...

These are the ladies on my FABULOUS team that came to On Stage and this event with me!!! 💓

There was a fun Pajama party at night where we opened up the loft upstairs and had some special things going on.  But before we opened it, only "staff" was allowed up there.  (Yes...I was officially staff.  Hee.  I was so special!!)  So here is Robyn (the amazing gal that put on this incredible event) and I goofing around...

And check out what we had hiding upstairs...
 (before candy was added)

This amazing & beautiful candy bar!  I mean, seriously.  It was a show stopper!  Here are some close-up's...

The gals LOVED LOVED this candy bar!  Another thing they loved (I maybe loved it the most.  Haha) was this SUPER FUN Photo Booth Robyn had.  Just check out a sampling of the times I got into the booth...
Hee.  We. Had. So. Much. Fun!!!  And I mentioned that I did a presentation.  Here is a goofy pic of me up on the stage doing my presentation.  I get a little crazy at events, so I also did cartwheels, splits, and lead some dancing on this stage.  😂

(I will be sharing the projects that I presented in a later post...so stay tuned.  😀)

And here is my display table ...

We were a little tired by the end of the night.  But as we were packing up cars...part of the staff and I still had some energy for some more photos.  😀

And this girl...oh man how I love her!!!!  And she puts on one fabulous event!!!

So what do you think?!  Do you want to join us at more fun demonstrator events?!  :-)  Would love to have you join my team and come!  Stay tuned for more another fun post about On Stage! And then just send me an email if you have any questions!

Hope you enjoy!!!
