Wedding Week -Day 3 "Wedding Owls"

Hi DeNami friends,

Today I want t show you this wedding card that I made using the cute owl love birds. I wanted to make a really simple and easy card and didn't want to include too many colors. I started off stamping the owls on white cardstock and colored them in with alcohol markers.

For the card itself, I die cut a banner from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment "Congratulations you  tied the knot" with black ink. Using an embossing folder, I embossed the front part of a standard white notecard and adhered the banner piece to it using foam tape to give it a little bit of dimension. The owls were adhered to the bottom center of the banner using glue dots.

To finish off the card I included white and gold baker's twine and tied a bow (or a knot...) at the bottom of the card. I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did.

Wedding Week- Day 2 "Beautiful Bride Card"

Hi Everyone!

This week’s theme is wedding. Weddings are such a special day for the happy couple and giving them a thoughtful and beautiful card for their wedding is a great way to show them that you love them and are happy for them.

The card that I made is simple yet beautiful. First, I stamped the Mimi Bride on white cardstock and colored her in using Copic markers and I did a little shading to add some depth to Mimi. Next, I die cut her with a stitched rectangle die because I wanted the stitched edge around her. After going through my large stash of paper and cardstock, I found a very pretty pearlized rose pattern paper. I cut it to cover the front of an A2 card and adhered it using my tape runner. After that, I adhered Mimi to card with part of the right side hanging off the card and I trimmed the part that was hanging over. For the sentiment, I stamped Congratulations on white metallic cardstock and die cut it with a banner die. The banner was adhered to the card with foam tape to add some dimension. To add a little sparkle, I placed three white glitter enamel dots in the top left corner of card. I hope that you enjoyed my card this week! Until next week!

Wedding Week- Day 1 "Congrats Card"

Happy Monday, DeNami Design Friends!

It’s Lisa P. This week our design team is featuring projects with a wedding theme. DeNami Design has a wide variety of images in their collection for creating whimsical and elegant cards for weddings and engagements. I used a combination of three stamp sets on my card for today.

I started with a blank piece of white cardstock and then went to town stamping the cake, hearts, flowers, and doves. I didn’t follow any particular pattern, I just had fun with it. Then, I took a rectangle die and die-cut a portion of this stamped panel. I colored in parts of each image with markers and added a touch of sparkle with a glitter pen. I matted the stamped rectangle with a 4.25” x 5.5” black cardstock rectangle, and adhered that to an A2 white card base. To finish, I die-cut a stitched label, stamped the “congrats” sentiment onto it, and adhered it to the upper right-hand corner of the card.

Here’s a closer look:

I had so much fun making this card! I hope you like it!!!

Have a wonderful week!

Glamour Dress

Hello!

Recently, in the circle of people I know, there have been lots of engagement/ wedding announcements. I don't know about you, but I'm struggle quite a bit with creating cards for these occasions. Another tough occasion: bridal showers. I feel like those cards should be more personal and not just have "congratulations" on it.

A while back, I revamped the whole DeNami booth with all new display boards. One of the designs was the card I have below. I had originally used the With all of my Heart sentiment, but then I recently thought our Small Congratulations would be a better fit. How perfect would this card be for a bridal shower? I'm definitely using this the next time I go to one!

This week, we are busy working on lots of behind-the-scenes things here in the DeNami office. Any guesses as to what they might be? Let's just say we have heard requests and are doing our best to fulfill them. :)

I will see you all tomorrow for the new Product Spotlight. We are featuring one of our new stamps and the team has created some darling items. Can't wait to see you then!

Sending You A Box of Love

Hello!

Today's card is the one I had originally wanted to show you on Monday. (The post that got erased by Blogger).

I was blown away by this cutie the moment Rebeka brought it into the office. Everything from the colors to the layout is simply perfect!  Also, who thought a "Open Box" could be so versatile? After I saw this card, I had to pull out this stamp! :)

This card would be so fun to give for all sorts of occasions....the possibilities truly are endless. I know many of you have purchased this stamp- I cannot wait to start seeing your projects with it! :)

Have a great rest of your day!

Pretty Wedding Gift

Happy Friday!

I'm proud to say that one of the new CHA boards is completed. (You'll see more of the cards in the coming weeks and months) Now I'm onto a new color combo- this one being one I truly love: Brown Kraft, Chocolate Brown, Petal Pink, Magenta and White. So girlie and fun!

For this card, I used some "oldies" that I've always loved. I started out by pulling out the Wedding Gift, and then chose other stamps that I thought worked well with it. I must say, I'm really happy with how it turned out! :)

Ink: Vintage Sepia, light pink (not carried by DeNami)

Just a reminder: we'll be in Allentown, PA this weekend. Click here for the details. We would LOVE for you to come out if you're in the area!

I will see you back here on Sunday for the blog hop. We have 30 fabulous designers signed up, and as usual, we have prizes to give away. Also, if you didn't get a chance to sign up, you can still participate when we post the challenge that day.

Have a great rest of your day!

Valentine Treats

Good morning!

On a recent trip back home, Nami brought in these adorable Valentine Treats. We recently released Rectangle Boutique Boxes, which I've been asking for forever. :) I LOVE the square boxes we have, but there's something about these ones that are a fun change.

Nami has once again blown me away with her creativity. I cannot get over how cute (and easy!) these little treat boxes are. For these boxes, she put in the individually wrapped licorice sticks, but you could put in chocolates.... (Scroll below for the supply list)

Sweet Birdcage card + Video

Hi there!

These past few days I've shared some fun and exciting news! Today I thought it was time to go back to showing you some card inspiration- that's probably the reason you come to the DeNami blog!

With the huge release we just had, I thought it would be perfect to show you a card featuring some new goodies, along with some older ones. I just love how you can mix and match our collections so easily!

One of my favorite parts about this card is the unique color combination. The contrast of the Brown Kraft card with the Navy card is so pretty! Then adding the Hot Pink grosgrain bow adds just the right amount of color.

Did you know that such a cute card could be made so quickly? Not only would this be a super cute Valentine's Day card, you can use it for weddings as well!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and video!  See you tomorrow with some Valentine goodness you won't want to miss!

Elegant Wedding Cake

Happy Monday!

Thank you to all who came to the Novi, Michigan show this past weekend! It was so fun to see familiar faces and see you all excited about our new collection and display boards. I know we've said it before, but it's customers like YOU that make this job so fun! Please know, each and every compliment, comment on the blog or Facebook, email or phone call truly makes our day. We hope that each day you visit our blog (or website), you leave feeling inspired and happy. :)

Today I have a card showcasing an older image- our Curly Wedding Cake. This design is perfect as a focal point for any wedding card. I colored and cut each tier then added foam tape under each cake tier; love the dimension it brings! To make the background I used the ever-so-versatile Decorative Flourish. To finish off the card, I added touches of glitter to the cake using a Quickie Glue Pen, and then used the Essential Glue Pad to add glitter to the background paper.

I hope you have a great Monday!

Pretty Pastel Wedding

Hi there!

Can I just say that you ladies are rocking the sketch I created? It's so much fun to check out the cards that have the same layout but completely different looks! Isn't it great to get some new inspiration and also get to know some fellow DeNami stampers? I'm really lovin' seeing the new bloggers and also some Flickr users! If you create a card using a DeNami stamp, be sure to post it to our group! Who knows....we just might feature your card!

With wedding season approaching quickly, I'd thought I'd share a quick & easy card from Nami. This yummy mint card is fairly simple but isn't it stunning? You can easily use this card design for lots of other occasions. Did you notice the glitter on the circle pendants hanging from the ribbon? Super easy to do! Stamp and color in your image(s) then tap the cardstock on your glue pad and sprinkle your glitter! Yup, it really is that easy! :)

Be sure to stop by tomorrow when we announce our two new design team members!
