Charlie - 8 months old

Charlie turned 8 months in August.
Here is a look back from July through August 18th.

Charlie is a great sleeper.
He loves being swaddled with his arms out.

He still takes a binky.

This is honestly one of his favorite ways to fall asleep.
He loves having that blanket up around his face.

Charlie has a very sweet nature.
He loves to play!

He has a wonderfully contagious laugh.
He loves laughing with us.
He is really easy to get to laugh. He loves being tickled.
He also laughs when Henry lies down next to him.

He adores his brothers and loves being around them.

Charlie finally mastered rolling over! He started rolling from his back to his tummy a week or two after he turned 7 months.  He was really close to rolling over before. He'd get up on his side but never complete the roll. Well, now he can roll just fine! We are so grateful he finally rolled over!
He also relearned how to roll from his tummy to his back a week or so after he rolled back to tummy. He first rolled tummy to back when he was about 5 weeks old. He rolled over twice one day and twice the next day and then never did it again until he was 7 months old!

Charlie LOVES to eat. He now eats whenever we eat. And if he's not eating when we're eating he lets you know loud and clear that he wants to eat NOW! He loves all the fruits he's had and most of the veggies. He hadn't learned to like peas yet. He loves feeding himself. He has mastered the pincer grasp. It's so cute to watch him very carefully pick up his food between his index finger and thumb.

On his 8 month birthday he celebrated by having his first oreo!
I think it's safe to say he loved it!

You can see how he exaggerates his pincer grasp in this video. I think all babies must do this once they master it. It sure is adorable!

We love you Charlie!
