Annoucing Sandi S.!!!!

Have you ever had a song stuck in your head for days?? Or had a recurring dream?? Since I picked my new Design Team members, I could just could not get Sandi's card out of my head! I even dreamed about it, and gosh darn it, I could stand it no more! Sandi is such an incredible artist and she is so worthy, as all my Design Team members are, as they are all so very talented. So Sandi is my newest Design Team member and am so blessed to have her. That said, I am truly blessed to have all my wonderful and talented ladies. They always make me feel like a very proud "Mom" and a ROCK STAR, although they are the true rock stars.

New Design Team Members Announced!!!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! What a hard job it is to decide from a bunch of talented ladies! The fun part is picking new members. The bad part is that I have ladies that did a lot of hard work and they were not picked this "go round". I have two members right now, that were not picked in my first selection, when I started my first design team call. They were asked to join after new members decided that a design team was not for them for many reasons. I emailed these ladies later on, and asked them to "hop on board". I was a little nervous, as I thought they might have felt a bit "slighted", as they were not picked the first time. These two ladies accepted and are now a couple of my "best girls", but all my design team members are also my "best girls"! So here we go!!! the ladies that I would like to join my team are.......................................

Update: New Design Team Members

I know you want to know, and due to the Easter holiday, I am not telling until Monday April 5th! At that time, I will be posting who I have selected for the newest Cutters Creek Design Team. I will tell you, as a store owner, this is a hard thing to do. However I want to take this time to tell everyone who has applied past, present, and future that there are so many reasons I pick the people I do. A lot of it has to not only the ability to design, but how each of you fits in a team environment. Many of my members have different talents, so you are not seeing the same thing over and over. Anyone who was not picked, I so want to thank you for your efforts! I love all of you for wanting to be on my team! Please still want to be on my team, as your turn may come sooner than you think! How cute is this card! I love how all the layers work with each other to make a finished look and all the tiny details are just gorgeous. I wish you could see the inside of this card too, however we are focusing on the front, as the inside just gives those finishing touches that made me just sigh with delight. Bling! Bling! Bling! The colors, flowers, and bling so remind me of Spring. What a gorgeous card! The details are all pulled together in such a way that it makes for an eye catching card and then you start looking at all the elements. Everyone has birthdays and we all love cupcakes. I didn't notice, but my little stand covered up the "happy" in happy birthday. Don't you just love the faux stitching? Who doesn't like House Mouse stamps? Laura did an awesome job of coloring this stamp. But wait! There's more! Look at all the details and I love that she put a real bow on the top of one of the presents along the side of the card. This card is a beauty! I tried to not get a bright reflection from all the glitter, so this card is actually much brighter in person. I love all the glitter details on the ornament and also the pearl and rhinestone details. This is a Christmas card I would love to receive and would save for sure! Carol did a really good job! Design Team Entry Carrie W!!

This has been a long time in coming, as Carrie was the last Design Team entry I received. This entry was never was posted, however I have to share the fabulous art received by Carrie. This card is interactive and so gorgeous! The snowflake rolls from side to side and the bling is fabulous!! I so love the ribbon she chose and it is so pretty in person. The snowflakes and the word "snow" give me that winter wonderland feeling and could imagine a snowball fight with my kids. So much bling, so little time!

Cutters Creek Design Team Announced!!

I first want to apologize to all the entrants, as Cutters Creek has been slamming busy (a good thing) and I needed to take some time to spend with my family on Thanksgiving, as my daughter and her husband flew in from MN and my daughter in law and grand daughter drove up from NC and I was the one in charge of entertaining and meal making. So unfortunately, matters that were less pressing when to the back burner and boy was this a hard decision! I want to say all of your work was absolutely lovely and I had decided to pick between 4-8 people. Well as the decision got harder and harder, I decided to go with 8!! Here is another entry in the search for a Cutters Creek Design Team. I love how all the blues come together in this gorgeous card. And isn't that bee just the cutest thing you ever saw? This is going to be a very hard decision and now I don't envy me either...........lol! This is another card that my photo does not do justice to as you don't get the whole bling effect. I have to say, with my son getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan, this one touched my heart just a little bit. I love all the elements and the coloring. Everything pulls together nicely and there are a lot of things going on with this card, however it looks so simple. And I love the glossy accents on her lips! Someone smack me and tell me to pull out my little photo studio, however I am slamming busy with all of your faithful customer orders..............lol! and am shipping my heart out right now! This card was so simple and cute and Angela used a product that I had no clue about, Papermania Red Shimmer Dots. This is something I am looking for from my DT, tell me..............Kim, you need to get this product! Angela used them on the hat and the shoes and I just could not help but thinking I need these! This card, I really did not do justice to with the photo, as it opens in a very interesting non traditional way that I thought to myself, "I love this concept!". I love the felt ribbon, which I have never seen before, however I am not a felt person so really don't pay attention even though felt is all the rage right now (silly me!). I hated untying the bow, as that meant I would have to tie it back up to take a picture and Michele made a beautiful bow. I loved the distressing and the simplicity and the flower deals are beautiful. So what do you think? Please leave your comments to let me know.
