Here's my take on the current color challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches #496, which asked for pale grayish green, olive green and dark brown:
I must admit - these colors were a little intimidating for me, and it took me awhile to decide what am I going to do with them.
Finally, I decided to go for a flower and leaves. I stmped the sketch flower in dark brown on a pale grayish green cardstock, and die cut it (Papertrey Ink Pop Up Florals).
I die cut a stitched hexagon shape and run it with a pierced leaves die. I matted the hexagon with dark brown cardstock.
I adhered the flower on top of the white hexagon, using some foam tape for dimention. I stackec lots of sprigs and leaves in brown and the two shades of green under the flower, and added a glitter dark brown enamel dot in the middle.
I die cut the sentiment in green and brown and adhrered a little overlapping each other, as if there's a shaddow.
I really love the contrast of the white hexagon against the kraft basis, and the natural atmosphere of this card.
