Hi Everyone!
It's Becka with http://www.creationswithbecka.blogspot.com/ here today. Are you all enjoying your Summer? The kids are out of school and I have reduced my hours at work, so I have Fridays off now, and let me tell you I wish I always could work a 4 day work week because it is so nice to have that extra day. Lately, I have been trying to spend it in my craft room. But my craftroom is upstairs in my house and I don't have air conditioning so it gets really hot up there. Especially because it has been 100 degrees here. Yikes! But the swamp cooler works well and I just wear lots of tank tops and shorts LOL!
When I think of Summer I always think about talking long walks down by the Truckee River and having a pinic in the park. But with a pinic always comes ants, so I made this cute little card.
Can you believe that I could not find ants on a Cricut cartridge anywhere, every time I searched my Gypsy it brought up pants- How funny is that? So I used these old CM stickers I had.
I used this watermelon on page 46 from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I used the watermelon on the shift, then I deleted the face on the watermelon, so I could stamp a face with a Peachy Keen stamp. This is how I set it up on the Gypsy
Next, I used K.Andrew Amazing You stamp set for the sentiment. If you don't have any of K.Andrew stamps yet you have to get some! They are amazing and they are my new favorite stamps. You can check all of them out HERE. I used Peachy Keen Snowman faces for the stamped face.
Hope you all enjoyed my post today and make sure you stop by tomorrow to see what the other design team members make.

SSD DT Challenge- Mix it Up
Hi everyone
Becka here with http://www.creationswithbecka.blogspot.com/ . This week for our SSD DT challenge we were asked to make something with a BBQ in it. So I decided to make this BBQ invitiation for an upcoming BBQ we are having.
I used Simply Charmed cartridge.
Here is the cut I used from Simply Charmed:
Here is how I set the hamburger up on the Gypsy
Set up for paper on the mat
I used Peachy Keen Wide Eye Kids stamp and CTMH "Invited" stamp for the top bun
Then I used the small dots Cuttlebog embossing folder to make little seeds on the top bun.
Then I put all the BBQ info on the inside of the card. Hope you all enjoyed my post.

SSD- DT Challenge Stars
Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! Mine was awesome. I have been MIA the last couple of days but that is because I had the last 6 days off and it was so nice but very busy. I had all this stuff I wanted to get done and probably only got maybe 3 things on the list done! Crazy. On the 4th we went to the waterpark, dinner and the fireworks. The kids had a wonderful day and were super tired from too much fun!
So this week for Sweet Sassy Diva's Design team challenge, we were asked to make a project using stars and no stripes.
The Cricut Circle monthly challenge was to make something patriotic so I made this card for that.
I made this 4th of July card.
To make this card you will need the following:
Blue and red cardstock
Blue star and Red star patterned paper
Make A2 size card out of the blue card stock
Cricust Essentals for the the stars- which were layered on the Gypsy
Pop-dots
Freedom Isn't Free- Stamp set by K.Andrew
K. Andrew's stamps are awesome, high quality and made right here in the USA. Keeping jobs in America! Plus every stamp set donates $1 per set sold to a charity that is close to Kristal's heart. To see all of her stamps you can check them out HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Home Decor- Flower Wreath
Hi All
This week the DT over at Sweet Sassy Diva was ask to make a spring time home decor project. Well I went to my mothers this weekend for Easter so I didn't have time to make something, but I wanted to share with you this beautiful wreath she made for Easter. It was made with a round bamboo wreath and then she added silk flowers, eggs and these beautiful bowes. She always ties the best bowes ever. She covers her whole tree in them at Christmas time, it is awesome.
These little eggs are from Michaels and believe it or not the flowers are from the dollar store.

Stretch Your Imagination- SSD DT Challenge
This week for the Sweet Sassy Diva DT Challenge I was asked to pick the challenge. I decided that the challenge should be to use Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and pastel colors. But the real challenge was to use any of the Spring Images on pages 62- 69.
So I decided to use the caterpilar on page 66. Here is the card that I made:
I used Pink, yellow, green and olive green cardstock. The patterned paper is from K & Co. and then the stamps are Buggy Puns by My Pink Stamper.
Here is how I set the Gypsy up and the paper on the mat.

SSD- DT Challenge Easel Card
Hi Everyone
This week for the Sweet Sassy Diva's DT challenge we were asked to make an Easel card. I wasn't sure what this was at first but I found this great tutorial at Split Coast Stampers website. The tutorial is really wonderful, but I think I have a hearing problem because at first I just could not figure out the whole flap thing, but after watching the video 3 times and taking my card apart once I finally got it! WOOHOO!
I am so ready for Spring to come but it is still snowing in my neck of the woods. So to get in the Spring mood I made this cute Chick card.
And this is the cool part, you can make it stand up like an easel to showcase the card.
Here is what I used to make the card:
Yellow and Pink Card Stock
Patterned paper from my stash
PK Critter faces
Simply Charmed- Love this cart! It is a must have...
I cut the chick out at 2.75" and then wrote the saying since I couldn't find a stamp with what I wanted.
I colored in the beak and eyes with markers.

SSD- DT Challenge Newspaper
Good morning everyone
This week over at Sweet Sassy Diva, the design team was asked to make a project featuring newspaper and the color green. I decided to make this great football card.
I used Sports Mania cartridge and this is how I set it up on the Gypsy and the paper on the mat.
We had to use some form of newspaper for this project, and I had this cool paper from CTMH so I decided to incorporate it into the project. The paper is from the Sports pack so it is about sports. So that is why I decided to use the football saying from Sports Mania.
Recipe
blue,brown and green cardstock
newpaper print from CTMH
Sports Mania cartridge- saying cut at 3"
White Gel Pen

SSD DT Beach Theme Mini Album Layout
Hi Everyone
This week for the Sweet Sassy Diva challenge, Bobbi Jo asked us to make a Beach themed 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 mini album double layout.
Here is the layout I made:
I used Peachy Keen PK165 Dolly Dumplins face stamps
The patterned paper on both pages is DCWV Stack 6 collection, cut at 5.5 x 8.5 each side. The solid green cardstock is cut at 5.75 x 8.75.
I used Everyday paperdolls for the dolls cut at 4" and Life's a Beach for the beach chairs cut at 3.5.
Here is how I set it up on the Gypsy
And the paper set up on the mat
I ended up not using the black paper or the red, white & blue patterned paper.
I also used my new Seweasy to sew the border of the page, which I totally love. It was so easy to sew the paper after it punches the holes into it.
Hope you all enjoy!

SSD Design Team Color Challenge
As Sweet Sassy Diva is getting ready for her Cricut cruise, her DT was asked to make a project using the colors in the picture below.
I used Accent Essentials for the flower cuts. Here is how I set it up on my gypsy.
I just use a pen do curl with. Then you layer all the flowers together and apply a brad in the center to hold them together. I made the brad using the I-Top tool and a 16mm brad.
then I put the card together using yellow cardstock for the A2 size card and DCWV the Dots, Stipes & Plaids cardstock pad for the patterned paper. I glued the flower on the upper left corner and then used CTMH True Friends stamp for the saying. I added buttons to the bottom of the card.
Hope you enjoyed.
What do you think? Do you think she is excited for her cruise or what? I am just plain jealous.
So for my project I made this card for my friend.
The sizes are the flowers are as follows: 1 @ 3.64 x 3.5, 1 @ 3.12 x3, 1 @ 2.6x2.5, 1 @ 2.08 x 2, 1 @ 1.56x 1.5
Then after they cut out I curl the petals.
