I think you're cool! - Digi Haven DT

Hi all!!

How are you today? Is there any snow where you live? Well, here in Holland there rarely is snow, but is has been snowing a lot over the past 3 weeks. And I can tell you, I HATE it!! I need spring!! Flowers, bugs, bees etcetera!!!!
Well, at least snow on cards isn't cold, so the theme for this forthnights challenge at Digi Haven is
SNOW OR SNOWFLAKES!

This is what I created for this challenge.

I made a little easelcard, 10cm square if closed. The base is made from creamcolored cardstock. The blue snowflakepaper is made from regular cardstock, embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.

The image I used is by Birdie Brown, and can be found here. Like the image? What's even nicer it is for FREE!! This adorable snowman is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following:
R27, R29 and C5, C7, 100 and BG93, BG96 and BG0000, 0 and YR61, YR68.
All of the snowflakes falling down are filled in with Stickles Frosted Lace, and so is the snowbottom.
The sentiment in the upper right corner is made with my Slice, with the Mistletoe cartridge.

The sentiment is made by our very own Mynette, and this is one of the three sentiments you can win by entering this challenge! The rhinestones, ribbon and twine are from my stash and so is the snowflakecharm.

Love - Red Carpet Studio DT card

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge today at Red Carpet Studio! The week we are inspired by the movie "Where the heart is". That means you can make any type of card, as long as it has a heart on it.

She also offered some images to the DT, and this is what I created!

The image I used is called I'm Sweating over You and can be found here. Here is a close-up of the colored image.

She is cut out with my Nestabilities Circle dies, and then colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following markers to color her!
Skin: E000, E00, E02 and R20 for blush.
Lips: R20
Eyes: BG72, 0
Hair: E40, E41, E43, E47, E49
Shirt: W00, W0, W1 and W2
Skirt: BG72, BG57, BG49

The sentiment is stamped on my dessinpaper, which is from my stash, and is by Imaginisce. The black pearls on my card are made with a pearlmaker pen.

The stamped hearts is stamped with a clearstamp from my stash, no idea which brand it is. The big paper heart is cut out with my Slice.

Couldn't help myself making a little flowerarrangement again, I just love it! The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and from my stash, and I also used my pearlmaker pen again.

I used my Copic Markers to color this adorable digi, but forst a close-up of my colored image.

The papers I used are by Prima Marketing, and I used my Slice to cut some elements.

As you all can read in my previous post, Blogger is driving me nuts again, so a day later than scheduled, here is my post!
Yesterday, a new challenge started at Digi Haven. This fortnights theme is Fin and/or Feathers. You have to use any Free digital image that uses "Fins" or "Feathers" or if you're real good at finding free images, one that uses both "Fins and Feathers". The image(s) can be a forever freebie, limited time freebie or freebie of the month as long as it’s free for the duration of this tw week challenge. Please be sure to link back to the original artist or website on your blog.
Here is what I have made.

Yes, quite shocking huh? A tag, and not a card!! I used a scrap of cardstock to make this tag.
I used a forever freebie from Crafting Bella Lockwood, which you can find here. There are lots and lots of other freebies at her blog too!

I used my Copics again, and I am not sure if you can see, but I did 3d-paperpiece him!
I used the following Copics:
Y06 and Y08 for the beak and legs.
R46 and R59 for the heart and the crest.
BG13 and BG25 for his body.

The sentiment is a clearstamp by Wee Stamps by Silvia Zet. The dessinpaper I used is by Prima Marketing. On the blue piece I used a Martha Stewart border punch with gifts. The scallop is cut with my Slice.

Premiere at Red Carpet Studios!

Hi all,

Welcome to the Premiere Party of a new challenge blog! Red Carpet Studios is starting Sept. 2nd and this is the premiere weekend! You definately DO want to hop over to their blog, just to see all the great give-aways! Absolutely great!
Anyway, Red Carpet Studios, like the name says, is all about movies and stuff, and I created a DVD especially for this premiere party.

I used a DVD case from a recordable DVD which I didn't use anymore, took the paper out and created my own! The stamps I used are all Magnolia, aren't they just great? Here are a few close-ups

They are all colored with my Copic Markers. I am not going to lost them all, just because they are too much! I guess I used about 50 different markers, and my post would be way too long! ;)
The text banners are made on my computer and printed out.
The stars are cut out from yellow cardstick with my Slice. On the red cardstock I used my Martha Stewart border punch.
Here are some more pictures.

 As you can see I did the whole outside, and of course while I was working I couldn't just leave the inside as it is, so I did the inside as well!

As a little book on the inside I used all the pictures of the DT-girls on both teams, and pimped the DVD too!

It takes 2 to Tango

Hi all!

I finally found a solution to still upload pictures, but it has taken me way too long!!!
So there will be 2 blogposts up, so make sure to scroll to the other post!

(This post was supposed to go live on the 23rd of August!)
It is time for another challenge at Aud Sentiments! This fortnights challenge is: Use a number in the sentiment. This is what I created!

This times sponsor is Digi Darla, go take a look at their shop, it's fabulous! I used a digi called Happy Couple set 2, you can find them here

The happy couple is colored with my Copic markers and I used the following markers:
Skin: E0000, E00, E11 and R20 for blush
Hair: E35, E37 and E29
Female clothing: BG05 and BG07, and W1 and W3
Male clothing: E04 and E08, and W5 and W7

I used a sentimemt I found my computer, and I have no idea where I got it from, so if anyone know, let me know please!
I only used one sheet of dessinpaper, by Echo Park.
The blue squares are from white cardstock, cut in squares with my Slice, embossed with a music folder and colored with Distress ink Tumbled Glass.
The hearts are made out of blue cardstock and also cut with my Slice.

I also used some paper roses on my card and punched out some leaves with the Martha Stewart punch. Also used some rhinestones from my stash.

First Design for Digi Haven DT!

Hi all!

Yeah, that's right, Digi Haven DT!
Last Saturday I was added to wonderful DT of Digi Haven!
There will be a weekly challenge, starting on friday up to thursday.
This weeks theme is Christmas in July, this is what I came up with

This is a freebie by the Dutch designer Sliekje, you can find this cutie here.
This is a close up of my card

Of course I colored with my Copic Markers, I used the following colors
Elephant: C1, C3, C5 and C7
Tree: YG63 and YG67, R46, R37 and R59, Y15 and Y17.
Treepot: C5 and C7
Mouse: W1 and W3
Pearlstring: R59
Shading: W3, W1 and colorless blender

The sentiment is cut with my new machine, Slice with the Mistletoe cartridge. I just have my Slice 1 week, and I already love it, LOL
