Art by Mi Ran - Christmas and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi all!

I am here to share my Art by Mi Ran project today, and I have something exciting to tell over there! 

Today is my birthday, and in Holland we say "who celebrates their birthday treats", so I am giving away 2 Art by Mi Ran images at the Art by Mi Ran blog to a random commenter who wishes me a happy birthday! 

On to my card!

 I made a lovely Christmas card. The papers I used are from Echo Park, and I inked all edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 The image I used is from Art by Mi Ran for Whimsy Stamps, and she is recently released. She is called Reindeer Eve, and she is available here. I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13, R20

Browns: E23, E25, E27, E29

Reds: R24, R46, R59

Greens: G40, G43, G46

 This is the inside of my card. Hubby got me a Silhouette Cameo for my birthday, and this is the first  card I created with it! I got the pattern for the inside from the Silhouette store.

CreaMiep - Geniet van de kleine dingen

Goedemorgen allemaal,

Vandaag is het mijn beurt op het blog van CreaMiep om jullie wat te laten zien, dus daarom hier ook. Ik ben dit keer geïnspireerd geraakt door de kleuren van het designpapier wat ik gebruikt heb, roze en geel. Dat vind ik een prachtige combinatie, en die zie je dus ook vaak terug in mijn creaties.

 Voor de vorm van mijn kaart heb ik een mal van Dutch Doobadoo gebruikt. Het designpapier is van Maja Design, zie je hoe mooi die kleurtjes zijn? Ik heb alle randjes aangezet met Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van The East Wind, ze heet Lucy Loo Bookaholic. Zie je dat haar? Dat is nou echt mijn ding om te kleuren. Ik werd er spontaan verliefd op toen ik deze stempel zag! Ze is met Memento inkt op DCP papier gestempeld, en met alcoholmarkers gekleurd.

De tekst stempel die ik heb gebruikt komt uit de set van CreaMiep, op het kraft papier van Joy. Ik heb hiervoor de zelfde Memento inkt gebruikt als voor het afdrukje.

Om mijn kaart af te werken, gebruikte ik verschillende bloemen, een Gardenia, een Cherry Blossom en een roosje van 15mm. 

Dit was het voor vandaag, ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vonden!

Clubdagproject Kaarten maken met Tiets

Hallo allemaal!!

Allereerst een waarschuwing, HEEL, HEEL, HEEL VEEL foto's in deze post!

Gisteren was het dan eindelijk zo ver, de clubdag van Kaarten maken met Tiets! En wat keek ik er naar uit zeg... Eerder dit jaar ben ik door Tiets gevraagd om haar team te versterken, iets waar ik natuurlijk geen nee tegen kon en wilde zeggen. Dat betekende dus ook, dat ik de eer had om alvast te werken aan het prachtige project waar iedereen gisteren aan begonnen is, en dat mijn project als één van de voorbeelden diende.

Ik wilde jullie graag ook mijn project laten zien, want ik ben erg trots op het eindresultaat.

Dit is de voorkant van het album. Het papier dat we hebben gebruikt is van Prima Marketing, Butterfly collection. Vrijwel alle materialen die ik heb gebruikt, zaten in de kit die we hebben gebruikt, met uitzondering van een hoop bloemen, en de letterstickertjes.

Dit is de binnenkant van de kaft.

En dan nu alle pagina's uit mijn Messy album. Om mijn pagina's te maken heb ik paperbags, enveloppen, notitiepapier, ribbelkarton en jute gebruikt, ook allemaal in de kit te vinden.

Om mijn pagina's te decoreren heb ik ook verschillende stansen van Noor Design gebruikt.

Al het verdere decoratie materiaal, zoals parels, knoopjes en charms komen uit de kit.

In de flap van deze envelop heb ik een magneetje verwerkt, zodat de envelop tijdens het bladeren netjes gesloten blijft.

Dit is de binnenkant van de achterkaft. 

En tot slot nog alle labels die in de paperbags zitten.

The East Wind Challenge - For the Little Ones

Hi all!

Time for a new challenge over at The East Wind! Our theme for this one is For the Little Ones, so we want to see cards featuring kids, or cards for kids. I decided to make a card for a new born girl, just perfect for this theme!

 The papers I used are from a cheap shop called Action, I just love the soft colors on it. They make perfect baby cards! The doily behind the image is from Action too. 

 The image I used is called Baby Aurora Angel, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color her, and I used the following.

Skin: E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: E51, E53, E55

PJ's: B000, B00, B02, R81, R83

Bear: E71, E74, E77

Pillow and blanket: W00, W0, W2, W5, RV63, RV66, RV69

Heart: RV21, RV23, RV25

 The sentiment is stamped with a clear stamp from Noor Design, with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I rounded the corners of the paper with my 1/4 inch Corner Chomper. 

 The ribbon and lace are from my stash, and I tied a ribbon bow to create more interest. Under the bow I added a charm from a heart with a little key. The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The letters are stamped with the Typewriter Key stamps from Noor Design, perfect to create words.

Art by Mi Ran - Box Cards

Hi all!!

It is my turn today to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and I thought I'd share here as well! 

Our theme this month is box cards, and I can tell you all, I had a hard time with it! I have never done ine before, and I am not quite sure if I will ever do one again haha!

Anyway, I had lots of fun making it, that's for sure!

 The papers I used for my Box card are from Maja Design, Coffee in the Arbour collection. I inked all edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

 I used Uptown Girl Casandra for this project. I have used her before, I just love this image. She can be found here. 

I backed her with a diecut made with a Noor Design die.

I colored my image with the following Copic Markers.

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13

Hair: RV63, RV66, RV69

Scarf and shoes: Y32, Y35, Y38

Coat: W00, W0, W2, W5

Skirt: G21, G82, G85

 I used half of the diecut for a floral piece.

 And the other half of the diecut on the other side, also with a flower piece. All flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 Here's close-up from the lid, I used some ribbon, pearl string and a Wild Orchid Crafts Gardenia flower to decorate it. 

 Here is the opened box card, a 4 drawer box cards.

See? I even decorated the insides of the boxes! I have put any decoration on the panels, because the box wouldn't close.

 The sentiment is from the new sentiment set from CreaMiep, all kinds of different Fall and Winter themed sentiments.

The ribbon I used is from Joy Crafts, and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.
