Pearl anniversary

This is a card that I sent my niece and husband for their 30th, Pearl Anniversary. I kept it to one layer, with no patterned paper. It's another of those card blanks with the bottom corners cut away so that some of the underneath can be revealed when used as tent style opening. I used three different washi tapes, two of which were glitter, both at the top of the card and inside. As it was a Pearl Anniversary I added plenty of pearls as well as the silver glittered 30. I used a favourite heart stamp by Stampington Company called forget me not - it has these words which I hid with the little sentiment piece which said 'Happy Anniversary to you both'. I coloured with spectrum noir pencils as alcohol pens would have shown through.

This is for:

AAA cards 172: one layer

Kleuren met Potloden August: anything goes (using pencils)
As you like it: favourite colour to pair with pink (and why): purple/lilac, my favourite crafting colours

Anniversary

For this anniversary card I used a card blank that had small quadrants of circles cut out of the bottom, with the card opening tent style. I put some washi tape on the inside of the card so it could be seen each side at the bottom.

I inked the Debbi Moore Anniversary stamp with memento tuxedo black, inking the Anita's hearts stamp with versafine black and heat embossing with detail clear powder (you can just about see it's embossed by the shiny rims around the hearts, which were then coloured in with a red spectrum noir pen, using the same to ensure the mat was the same colour red, as well as the bottom of the card blank, with some washi tape above that.  With the addition of the three butterflies the card was finished.

This is for:

The rainbow card challenge 20: radiant ruby red
The paper girls 206: emboss like a boss
Ike's world 135: T is for three of a kind/anything goes - three butterflies and three hearts

First communion card

This is a commissioned card made some time ago for a grandson (I know my friend will recognise it). The foiled background was from Hunkydory and the cross is a Tattered lace die cut, using one of the bits from within the scrolled pieces of the cross to form a heart. I can't remember where I got the image from that was printed cut.

This is for:

Crafter's cafe 249: dots and/or stripes
Simon says Wednesday: midsummer blues
Daisy chain 44: for the boys/men
Love to scrap 136: for the kids

Purple birthday card

A commissioned card made recently for a special friend. I love crafting with purple and shades of lilac. The background square is from a Crafter's Companion Downton Abbey collection, as is the inner square (from a double sided piece). The topper is a Kanban one from long ago. Everything on to a square card blank.

This is for:

Di's digi designs: lots of squares
Cutie pie 150: hip to be square
Cardz 4 galz 123: monochrome
Crafty cardmakers 261: lots of layers

Another sympathy card

A similar sympathy card to the previous one, made with a central Kanban topper matted on to  a piece of blue cardstock with the corners rounded and then matted on to a piece of beige and black paper with the washi tape either side.

This  is for:

Double trouble 64: let's brighten the day - grey with two additional colours - blue and a touch of beige.

Color my heart 407: grey + 2 colours, partnering with Double trouble

Congratulations on the birth of a baby boy

For this commissioned card (a while ago) I used a card blank with the edge die cut to reveal some paper from the inside. Papers were from The English Paper company. Stickers from a set I bought from Hobbycraft a long time ago.
