Hi there!
How is it Monday again already? I meant to post this last week but the time got away with me! It seems that April is our busiest month of the year and many of the most anticipated days were last week! Funny how things end up happening all at the same time, isn't it? This week is almost as busy but it's all fun!
Anyways, I am excited to announce the winner for the Circle Flower Die Set from Waffle Flower Crafts is Denise Bryant! I hope you'll love the dies as much as I do! :)
I have a card to share, too- this was on the Waffle Flower Blog last week and included a video! Pop over to the Waffle Flower YouTube Channel to watch.
I was in need of a pretty wedding card over the weekend and created this just for the happy couple. Lots of white and texture going on! I chose the Doily Square Die, Gemstone Stamp Set, and Doily Square Stamp Set to work with on this one. Here's a closer look at the details:
Alright! Hope your week is off to a great start! I hope I'll find some time to share some other things this week, too- I have a pile of cards just waiting to show you!
Thanks for stopping by!

Embossed and Embellished Cards for Teresa Collins Designs
Hello and happy Friday!! It's a rainy day here but that's ok- I'm busy prepping for a fun class I have tomorrow! :) It's a good excuse to watch a movie and stamp too!
Today I want to share a couple of cards I created for the Teresa Collins Designs team blog this week. I just love how they turned out! Really, whenever I use my eBosser and TC embossing folders I love how my projects turned out! lol! For these cards, I paired the embossing with the new Urban Market collection that is available now.
This first one was inspired by a triangle quilt I saw online. I loved the stitched pattern and and although it was done in colorful fabrics, I couldn't wait to try an all white, embossed version of it!
I have had this second idea in my head for awhile. I love the look of an embossed strip down the front of a card but wanted to modernize it a bit. This turned out exactly like I wanted it to:
The embossing you get with the Teresa Collins eBosser folders by Craftwell is so crisp and perfect! It automatically gives anything you create a sense of elegance. It is always so fun making cards with them!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
I started by cutting 6 4.25 x 1.75" strips of white cardstock. I ran each of them through the eBosser using a different embossing folder. Once they were embossed, I cut them in half diagonally to make 12 triangles.
Starting at the bottom of the card, I adhered the triangles to a white card base using my Teresa Collins Mega Runner by Xyron. I was careful to keep the adhesive in the centers of each triangle so I could easily sew over each piece. Once they were all in place, I sewed around each triangle with my sewing machine to create the quilted look.
Once my embossed card base was finished, I added the embellishment cluster to the top of my card. I started with the blue tiled scallop sticker strip from the Urban Market sticker sheet. I added a strip of the glittered Zig patterned paper next and then tied a length of twine around the card. I found the Remember This die cut circle in the Urban Market ephemera pack and embellished it with a blue floral brad from the Urban Market designer brads. I added it to the card using dimensional foam adhesive. I created the sentiment from the Urban Market Alpha and Label sticker sheet. To finish off the look, I sprinkled a few sequins below the cluster.
I have had this second idea in my head for awhile. I love the look of an embossed strip down the front of a card but wanted to modernize it a bit. This turned out exactly like I wanted it to:
I cut a 5.5 x 2.75" panel of white cardstock and embossed it using the Beautiful Words embossing folder. Cutting out the panel before you emboss means you can place the panel over the words you want to capture when you emboss. I loved the list of beautiful, fabulous, and wonderful so I placed the panel over this area of the folder and ran it through my eBosser.
I created a card base out of white cardstock and adhered the embossed panel onto the card 1/2" from the right side. I then cut two strips of cardstock- one 5.5 x 1/2" and the other 5.5 x 1". I used thin foam adhesive to add them to either side of the embossed panel.
Next, I embellished the card with some of my favorite new products from the Urban Market collection. I used the feather and blue tile decorative tapes on the left side first. Then I added a strip of the glittery Zig patterned paper across the bottom. I added the fleur de lis from the Urban Market ephemera pack and pulled out my stamps. This sentiment is from the All About You set by Reverse Confetti. I stamped it onto a diecut vellum label with Staz On ink. I added the epoxy bracket sticker to the left so that I could hide my adhesive underneath it. I used the Teresa Collins Clear Hold Adhesive by Xyron to adhere the vellum to the card. Lastly, I added just a few pretty silver sequins to finish off the clustered look.
The embossing you get with the Teresa Collins eBosser folders by Craftwell is so crisp and perfect! It automatically gives anything you create a sense of elegance. It is always so fun making cards with them!

You Are My Happy Card
Hello! I thought I'd share a fun card I made recently- yes, another embossed card! Hee! I've been using my TC Ebosser like crazy lately! This card features the new Teresa Collins Beautiful Words folder and I've used it on a diagonal here. I really love using it this way- it might even be my favorite eBosser technique!
The embossing turned out so nice I wanted it to be the star of this card. I kept the embellishments simple, using a few bits and pieces from the Teresa Collins You Are My Happy Collection. A little bit of twine from the Twinery finished off the look perfectly.
Well, I'm going to keep this short- I have a bunch of stuff to get done today and better get started before the day gets away from me! Thanks for stopping by!

Clean and Simple Cards for Teresa Collins Designs
I have some cards up on the Teresa Collins Designs blog today and I thought I'd share them here, too!
Today's cards are clean and simple- a design that lets the details shine! I'm showcasing Teresa's beautiful embossing folders made by Craftwell along with some of my favorite goodies from her current lines.
This first blue one was such a simple one to create- it's one layer even! I placed my open card base into the top of the new Beautiful Words embossing folder so that only a portion of the front would get pressed. It works perfectly- no creases from the side of the folder at all!! Once this was done, I stamped the sentiment from the Daily Stories clear stamp set with black ink and tied a bit of twine around the card, just under where I stamped. I added the Save the Date Chipboard button next, threading one of the twine tails through its holes. To finish off the look, I added a couple sequins- I love how they look against the pretty blue cardstock!
This one uses the Dotted Chevron folder- I ran my card base through the eBosser so that it would only emboss the front half. The embossing really pops on white cardstock and this folder gives it such a fun texture! I cut the top portion of the card next, keeping it on a diagonal. I added the sticker and epoxy shape from the Save the Date collection and then stamped my sentiment. I added this panel to the card using dimensional foam adhesive dots- thanks again Xyron!! :) To finish off the look, I added a few sequins trailing down from my embellishment cluster.
My last card also features a pretty embossed portion- this time I used the Woodgrain Cottage folder on watercolor paper! With my first pass through the eBosser, I diecut it into a circle and cut out the heart using thin metal dies. I ran it through the machine a second time inside the embossing folder. The watercolor paper is a little thicker so the embossing is extra crisp! I added a bit of glittered cardstock just behind the heart- I love how it peek-a-boos out! Once this was done, I built my card. I started with a blue card base and stamped the label from the Save the Date collection clear stamp set with matching blue ink. I splattered a little pearlescent mist over it next. Once it was dry, I added my patterned paper- these are from the Save the Date (ikat) and Daily Stories (hearts) 6x6 pads. I added a bit of decorative tape, a decorative brad, and a sentiment sticker all from the Save the Date collection. I finished off the look with a couple of staples using my pretty pink Teresa Collins Stapler.
These were so fun to create! I want to run every card I make through my eBosser right now and emboss them- I just love the texture it adds!
Thanks for joining me today!

An Embossed Hello Card
Today I have a card I'm pretty proud of to share with you! If you happened to watch Teresa Collins' segments on HSN on Monday, you may have seen this among the samples on her table!! It was pretty exciting to see my cards on TV- and wasn't Teresa great?? I loved watching!
For this card, I chose a few of my favorite embossing folders from the Teresa Collins Ebosser Collection. I ran each one through my Ebosser with white cardstock. I cut them into strips and then adhered them onto my card. I used a little bit of Xyron Mega Runner Adhesive in the center of each strip to secure them to my card. I stayed away from the edges so that my sewing would be easy and my needle wouldn't get gunked up with adhesive. I sewed along the edges of each of the strips with a zig-zag stitch.
After it was all sewn, I embellished it with some fun goodies from the Teresa Collins You Are My Happy collection- I love the colors in this one! These coral sequins might be my favorite ever! :)
I'm so glad I had time to pop on and share this card with you today!

You Are My Anchor Card
Happy Friday!!
I'm so glad it's the end of the week! It's been a good week but it feels good to slow down a little- we've been busy. And tomorrow is supposed to be nice here in Virginia- nearly 70! Sounds pretty great, doesn't it? :)
I've been posting a lot this week and have one more card to share with you all:
This one was inspired by a few things. First, the subject matter- I was inspired by Taheerah's Cure For the Monday Blues challenge #9 to use the colors and nautical theme. I went clean and simple with the design because of this week's Lawnscaping Challenge.
And notice the embossing? I wanted to use that so I could remind you to watch HSN this coming Monday!! Teresa Collins will be one sharing her gorgeous collections, tools, and diecutting machine, the Ebosser! You might even see a card or two from me as samples!! Don't you think it would be fun to have more craft shows on tv? I used to love watching Martha Stewart and Carroll Duvall back in the day...
I used my new Lawn Fawn Float My Boat stamps and die set for this card. The base is created out of Stampin' Up! naturals white cardstock and has been embossed with the dotted chevron folder by Teresa Collins for Ebosser. Before running it through the machine, I inked over the edges with Smoky Slate ink. The sentiment is stamped on gray patterned paper by Fancy Pants.
I am so glad I had a little time this week to create! As the girls get busier with springtime activities, I know my time will be cut short! Better enjoy it while I can! :)
Hope you have a great weekend!

Santa's List Cards
This time of year always goes by sooo fast! I swear, it was just the first day back to school- wasn't it? Hee! It's been a little colder here and I've been in the mood to create some Christmas cards. I shared them over on the Teresa Collins Design Team blog but I thought I'd share them here, too!
My first card features one of the adorable treat bags along with lots more goodies from the Santa's List line:
Did you see that beautiful embossing on my card base? I used one of Teresa's new Ebosser folders to get the pretty embossed look. Once I ran it through my Ebosser, I added the burlap ribbon down the left side. I slipped a gift card into the treat bag and folded it over on top, tying it with a bit of green baker's twine to fasten it shut. I adhered it to the card front and then added the label sticker, the santa and ticket die-cuts to the front. I added my sentiment sticker (by SRM Stickers) and embellished it with a couple pretty enamel dots to finish it off.
I cut my paper so that Santa ended up on the left side of my front panel. I added a strip of the polka-dot patterned paper (Snowflakes) to the bottom edge and then added my sentiment sticker just above it. The red banner flag is from the sticker sheet and the kraft one is from the die-cut sheet. I added a sticker button to the top of that, tied with a black twine bow. Last, I added a green sequin for a touch of sparkle.
This Santa might be my favorite! He is so jolly and warm looking- just who I imagined when I was younger!
This card was also a quick one:
I started by covering my card front with a panel of red and white polka-dot patterned paper (Snowflakes). I punched out this journaling card and fancy label from the die-cut sheet and added them to my card front using dimensional foam adhesive. I tied a bit of brown baker's twine around it and added the Santa chipboard piece to the right side. I added dotting sticker (SRM Stickers) to the label to bring some emphasis to the believe and I was done! This one may have been the quickest of the bunch :)
I started this card with a white card base. I added some of the red and white polka-dot pattern (Snowflakes) to the bottom 3/4 of the card front. I added a couple of border strips at the top of the patterned paper, as well as a bit of green cardstock. I wrapped it with some white twine and tied a bow to the left side. Next, I added a 3x4 photo using the decorative photo corners just to the right of the bow. I embellished with a couple sequins and added the die-cut tag with a handwritten greeting.
Now that I've gotten started on Christmas cards I can't stop! :) These were just so fun to put together and I can't wait to send them out to my friends and family with their gifts! I hope they inspire you to start yours, too!
Well, hope you are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I love the little touches of green! They really pop on that die-cut!

I created a photo card as well- photo card are so fun to send! With the cute photo corners your family and friends will be able to take the photos off and use them elsewhere as well:

You Are My Happy Cards
Hello! Today I'm sharing a few cards on the Teresa Collins Designs team blog. I thought I'd add them here, too! They feature the new You Are My Happy collection:
The first one features some of the great ephemera pieces from the You Are My Happy Ephemera Pack:
The tag with the little heart cut out of it was my favorite piece from the ephemera pack. It's simple but so perfect for a card! I popped it up and added the square of striped paper that came in the ephemera pack to the back. The 2 is also from the pack- you get 0-9 and can use these in so many ways!
Can you see the shine on those little hearts behind the sentiment? They are the prettiest shade of rose gold- something you'll see on quite a few pieces in the You Are My Happy collection. It is such an awesome detail! The letter stickers and 'us' sticker are from the You Are My Happy Sticker Accessory Sheet and the Best Friends banner is from the You Are My Happy Chipboard Elements package. I had fun with the layers on this one!
My next card is a clean and simple card using a cut out from the Hello Tags patterned paper:
I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this hello cut out. I simply popped it up on my coral cardbase and added a strip of patterned paper (Shooting Arrows) along the bottom edge. I embellished it simply using a few of the pretty sequins from the You Are My Happy collection.
For my next card, I started with the medium file folder as my base- I love the floral polaroid on it:
I splattered a bit of shimmery mist in the center and added the polka-dot hexagon sticker from the You Are My Happy Sticker Accessory Sheet. I added the rose gold border strip next and then the chipboard heart from You Are My Happy Chipboard Elements. I added my sentiment stamp next to my cluster and then added the banners and brad to the top left corner. These banner flags can be found in the You Are My Happy Ephemera Pack and the brad is from the You Are My Happy Decorative Brads. Lastly, I added a few sequins around the heart and on the file folder tab. They are such a pretty element- I love how they add a little sparkle!
I love how this next one turned out! Do you recognize the embossing? It's from one of Teresa's new 8 1/2 x 11" embossing folders from her Ebosser line:
Isn't the embossing pretty? I love it! After embossing my card front, I picked out the heart tag from the You Are My Happy Ephemera Pack and added it to the right side. Next, I added the two borders along the bottom. I stuck the pink chipboard piece next and then splattered my shimmery mist over the card. To finish off the look, I added a few sequins and the sentiment which is a sticker from the You Are My Happy Sticker Accessory Sheet. I popped up the sentiment sticker and added some twine to give some dimension to my card.
I was so inspired by the new You Are My Happy collection! The colors and patterns are so me right now- I have more cards and even a scrapbook page or two planned in my head! I can't wait to find some more time to spend creating! I know you'll love it too!
