Make a Wish Card for SRM

Hi!  I'm sharing a card on the SRM Stickers Blog today!  It's a birthday card for one of my girlfriends:

I think I have all my favorite things on this card!  A little stamping, an adorable 4" White Lace Doily, sequins, a Glassine Bag, and a We've Got Your Sticker- Birthday Sticker Sheet which has sentiments, images, and sticker stitches all in one!
I started with a pink card base and stamped some random pink dots diagonally across the card front.  I added a strip of pink patterned paper to the top and then filled a glassine bag with a gift card to my friend's favorite place- Starbucks!
I adhered the bag to the card front and then added a folded 4" White Lace Doily over the top.  I folded the bag's flap down and added a sticker stitch from the We've Got You're Sticker- Birthday Sticker Sheet along the edge.  I added the cupcake sticker to a Medium White Scallop Punch Piece and then added it to my card front with some foam adhesive tape.  I added the sentiment to the bottom of the glassine bag.  The sequins were a finishing touch- playing on the circle theme and adding a little sparkle!

This one was so fun!  Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee Lovers LOVE Gift Cards featuring SRM Stickers

Today I'm sharing a card inspired by the Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop.  My card is also on the SRM Blog- they are one of the Super Sponsors this time around and have been giving away some awesome goodies!  Be sure to pop over to the SRM Blog and leave a comment for your chance to win!

I am always inspired when I see the cute gift cards at stores- especially Starbucks!  Why put them inside the card when you can use them on the front?  They make the perfect focal point:

I layered some gold polka-dot vellum onto a kraft card base and then lightly adhered the gift card over the center.  I added a striped strip of patterned paper just below the edge and then had fun with some Black Sticker Stitches!  I added them underneath the gift card but in places it is clear so you can see through it below.
I added the sentiment sticker from the Sentiments/Congratulations Sheet.  Then I embellished with a few sequins and some Solid Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine.

What coffee lover wouldn't love a card like this? :)  It comes with free coffee!  lol!  Have fun popping through all of the other awesome cards along the hop and thanks for stopping by here, too!

A Card for Craft Hoarders Anonymous

I'm playing along with the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge today as one of their guest designers :)  If you haven't played along with one of their challenges yet you should check them out!  Any project is welcome- as long as you're busting some of that stash lol!

I pulled out some of my old favorites along with a few new pieces for this card.  It also features a gift card on the front- I do these every year for the teachers and the gift cards are getting cuter and cuter!  I love how they look on the front of cards :)

I started with a white card base and added the striped paper to the left hand side.  I added the scallop diecut edge to it next, cutting it the same length as the patterned paper.  The Starbucks gift card was next, taking main stage lol!  I added the sparkly snowflake next and then got to work on my sentiment layers.

I watercolored a piece of watercolor paper with various greens to mimic the green on the gift card.  When it was dry, I diecut it using the Holiday Fill In The Blank die set by Avery Elle.  I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the coordinating Holiday Fill In The Blank stamp set with Versamark onto vellum and embossed it with white powder.  Then, I diecut it using a long label die.

I layered the sentiments on to my card and added a bit of twine to finish it off.  I love the eclectic look I ended up with!  I can't wait to give this one to one of the girls' teachers :)

I had so much fun playing along with Craft Hoarders Anonymous this month!  Be sure to pop over to their blog to see what the rest of the team created!

Yeti Gift Card Holder

Hi there!  How's your morning going?  We have a second snow day today and we actually have snow!  The girls couldn't be any happier!  The first snow is always fun when you're little and this one has been pretty easy on my too since the roads are just fine to drive on!  Hee!

Since we are just hanging out today, I thought I'd share a fun card using the cute Yeti, Set, Go set by Lawn Fawn today!  It has a glassine envelope on the front to hold a gift card:

Yeti Gift Card

The yeti was stamped on Soft Sky cardstock and then colored with Copic markers.  I used a Signo white gel pen to color his hands and feet white.  I stamped my sentiment onto the glassine envelope using Staz-On ink so it wouldn't smear and then added some washi tape and sequin snowflakes!  This one was pretty quick and really fun!  I even used it as a class sample at the Scrapdoodles retreat this year!

Well, better keep this short- I have some crafting to do today!  Hee!  Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
