Fur-ever Family

I made this card for my Father's Day for my dad. I'm planning on putting a "D" for dad on his little badge. Love this bear!

I made all of this except for the ribbon from my stash from Shop Pumpkin Spice! Check out her deals and just an FYI, sometimes the shipping is not what it says it is and is usually less! She will let you know!

3x3 Calling Cards

Hello!!! I am SO sorry I have been MIA for a couple of days! I went to a crop on Friday night - a Cricut Circle crop in San Jose and just had a BLAST! The ladies were lovely, it was low key, AND I even got something done! But I can't show it to you yet... :)

At every Cricut Circle meet-up, we make old fashioned 3x3" calling cards. We can put whatever we want on the front and the back will have our information: name, email address, and blog site. It's like having business cards to trade with each other but super fun.

I made three versions based on the amount of paper I had. All in all, we made 30 of these to pass around.

If you ever have any questions about the Circle, I am ALWAYS happy to answer them as I LOVE the Circle! :)

Recipe:

Above: Diana L. (left) and Lezlye L. (right) - both Shop Pumpkin Spice DT sisters! :) Lezlye and I have gotten together to craft before and we have an awesome time together!

Above: I was SOOOOO tickled pink to meet Lori (Got2BeCrafting). She is JUST as sweet in person as she is online and I hope to see LOTS more of her and to call her a long time crafting friend.

This is Shannon Learner from Provo Craft showing us how to do our make and take for the night! She is so super sweet. We really had a blast with her! A HUGE thanks to PC for sponsoring and coordinating the event!

Somehow I avoided getting my picture taken but next time I want to take pics with everybody! :)

Have a lovely day and I'll be back on Wednesday with my Shop Pumpkin Spice post for the week! :)

Your Story project

It's about time that I brought out my Your Story!!!

We moved into a new house as you all know and before in our condo, we always had to put the dog on a leash to take her outside to go potty. Now we have a yard (yay) but she scratches the door to come back in. We don't want her to scratch the door to bits so I made this sign for her to tape on the spot where she would scratch to protect it.

Unfortunately the thickers were a little thick to put through the Your Story. I mean, they went through just fine, but they wrinkled the lamination. That's totally fine with me as I don't need a perfect looking doggy door scratch-resistant thingy-mablober. Just so you know, the Your Story does an EXCELLENT job on flat projects. You can click on some of my other ones by clicking on the label that says "Your Story" and all of those projects will show up! :) I know, I know. I need to do more!

Spoon is on the left with (one of her) doggy boyfriends Sammy. Aren't they adorable!?!

SPS Blog Hop - Love You A Latte! *Giveaway Alert*

Welcome to the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop! You should have gotten here from Dorcas' blog! She's a newbie to the team and we "old gals" are SOOO excited about the new gals! So please make sure you have stopped by everyone's blogs to say "hello"! :)

I could not be MORE THRILLED to represent Shop Pumpkin Spice for another year!!! I love her prices, her product, her constant attempt to keep the shipping rates to a minimum and now....... her KITS!!! Yes, you read right, Shop Pumpkin Spice is now creating monthly kits! The first one is only  $15.95!!! Check it out below or click on the link HERE to take you directly to the buying page! woot woot! :) Am I getting one? Yes, yes I am.

We designers can't buy them until it goes live tonight with the hop so you better not buy them all so that they are sold out when I wake up tomorrow California time! I'll be pointing fingers! ;)

Here is the project I made for the hop. It was supposed to be "your style" and while I was tempted to do a shaped card, this is still very me. :)

Recipe:

*Designer's Tip: It is REALLY hard to get a sponge or something else in the cracks and crevices of the letters. I used my inking tip for the d-stress tool by Imaginisce (the inking tip unfortunately ONLY comes in the carrying cases for the d-stress and SPS does not carry the cases, but they DO carry the d-stress tool. You can find the cases at your big chain scrapbook stores.) It attaches to the end of the d-stress. You turn the d-stress on so that it spins and just dip it in the ink and ink wherever you want with a spinning head! IN person the inking is a LOT more even, but because of the photo it picks up some of the darker spots and highlights them. Oh well! :) *

Diana's One Year Blog-aversary Blog Hop!

Happy Blog-a-versary Diana! I had the pleasure of getting to sit next to Diana in a crop and she is SO passionate about crafting! I'm sure this will be a super fun hop! You should have gotten here from Diana's blog herself! I am your second stop! If not, please start there and wish her a happy blog-aversary!

I was really honored to be asked to be a part of it! I know that Robyn (My Pink Stamper) is also on the hop and she is such a great friend and inspiration. She is also Diana's inspiration so I wanted to do a card that was inspired by Robyn too! Of course it had to be using the Create a Critter cartridge, her FABULOUS stamps, and in her "style". I hope you like it and participate in the challenge with us so that you could win a prize!

Welcome to DIANA L.'s  DL.ART  1 year blog-a-versary blog hop.  Including me there are 14 stops you will be making.  On these stops, you will find four people with a word; that will give you the clues, for the ingredients you will need, to complete your project.  Each designer will have a project that will inspire you and also have some clues as to what the ingredients are. You will have until Jan 6, 2012 @ 11:59 to link you project. Once you have linked your project, you will have a chance to win the Provo Craft Cricut  "Sweet Tooth Box cartridge" at the DL.ART site.

Here is the complete line-up:

Now, head on over to Amy's blog! Be sure to scroll down on her page to see some super cute santa and reindeer holders. They are darling!

Before you go... leave a comment and you might want to write down my secret word! That's right, you just found one of the four! My word is GREEN because it is BOTH Diana and my favorite color!

You have until the 6th to play along in the challenge to win the Sweet Tooth Boxes prize at D.L. Art!

AND as a SUPER special treat, My Pink Stamper has GRACIOUSLY allowed me to give away one of her stamp sets! I am going to be giving away Sweet Goodness! It's perfect for giving away goodies AND for those Valentines coming up! Leave a comment here and I will draw a winner on the 6th! THANK YOU MY PINK STAMPER!!!

Wishing you lots of love this Christmas.

I know I know, it's early for Christmas cards (let alone two! See earlier posts! :)), but when I got my little hands on Biggie Christmas - a stamp set from the most recent My Pink Stamper release... I couldn't help but feel in the holiday spirit!

Have a Joy Filled Christmas!

I made this for the new releases of the My Pink Stamper stamps - in this case: Biggie Christmas. This is fabulous stamp set and I simply bent the stamp around on an acrylic block to make it match the curve of the  snowman.

A lovely lady named Jennifer asked me what cartridge it came from - I have been addicted to the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons Cartridge™ recently. You can order it from the Creative Memories site HERE or through any CM distributer. You can see all of the projects I have made with it by scrolling down and on the right side, I have "tagged" each one with the label "Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons". Thanks for the inquiry Jennifer!

This qualifies for the Jingle Belle challenge: Bling on the holidays! I thought both the stickles and the jingle bell (tee hee) would count as bling! :)

Be Inspired #102 with Whoopsi Daisy!

These digital stamps are too cute for their own good! Whoopsi Daisy is sponsoring us at the Cuttlebug Challenges this week! I love these images! :) We had to use at least two buttons and a bow!

I made this card without the Cricut (this one is for you, Dee!) :).

This is a feel better soon card. I always recommend drinking tea when sick, so why not send a tea bag with the card? What kind of tea, you ask...? This one happens to be Royal tea - it's close to an Earl Grey. I love Lady Grey and Rose tea. Those are my two favorites. Usually it's just peppermint when sick or sleepy though! Enough about me, onto the card!

I had so much fun coloring in this little lady and while the angle doesn't let you see, she is carrying a trey with a tea pot, sugar bowl, and milk pitcher. Too cute!

Recipe:
Embossing: A2 Victoria Emboss Folder™
Paper: DCWV™, Bo Bunny™, Bazzill™
Image: Whoopsi Daisy™ Sheet 42
Ribbon
Tea bag
Buttons
Glossy Accents™
Sharpies and Copics

Come play along this week for your chance to win Whoopsi Daisy images! :)

WMC#20-In the Forest

This is my last project as a Design Team member for August at Wee Memories. I have had such a great time on this team and they are such a talented group of ladies. Thank you so much Jenny for the opportunity!

This week is sponsored by Third Coast Rubber Stamps. The winner will get a $25 Gift Certificate to their store!

Ann on the DT got to choose the theme this week and it is "In the Forest". I saw this cute tree on the Sweethearts Cartridge™ and really wanted to make a tree-shaped card.

I wanted to get some kind of critter in there though and thought the bees from Sentimentals Cartridge™ would be perfect.

I welded the blackouts of the tree together on my Gypsy™.
Then I created another brown layer for the front and embossed the brown with the A2 Forest Branches Emboss Folder™.
Next I used my Bo Bunny™ dot paper for the top of the tree. I pop-dotted it (that is now a verb).
I cut out the leaves from Cricut™ paper.
The hearts were cut from Core'dinations card stock, ran through the Cuttlebug™ with the A2 Swiss Dots Emboss Folder™, and then I put Glossy Accents™ on them. I pop-dotted them as well.
The bumble bees were cut from Bazzill™ Diamond Glaze card stock, the vinyl from the back of a binder, and DCWV™ neutrals stack.

I hope you like it! I can download the Gypsy™ file for you if you would like and email it to you.

Have a wonderful weekend. I will be buzzin' around the San Francisco Bay area and am headed to a concert tonight!

Scroll down to see my first post of the day for the Cuttin' Up Saturday team at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog!
