What do you do if you become pregnant and can’t seem to find a store to suit all your baby product needs? You open your own store, of course! That’s what caused the owners of Lusso Baby to open its doors in North Vancouver last October.
Project manager and buyer Sepi Bordian says Lusso Baby is the perfect place to start for expectant mothers. The store sells everything a parent would need, from pre-natal to post natal supplies for mom, and for babies and toddlers.
Expectant moms can also register at Lusso Baby, for everything from breast pumps to diaper bags, cribs and strollers. You can either come into the store, or do your all of your registering and shopping online! Lusso Baby will ship the gifts either directly to the gift-buyer, or to mom’s door.
The brands they carry are carefully selected after much research and time spent at trade shows. Lusso Baby carries inventory that is unique, wanting to give their customers a high-end experience when they walk into the store, but also ensuring that there is good value.
So, what’s the difference between Lusso Baby and other baby supply retailers? Well, first of all “Lusso” is Italian for luxury, and that’s really what they are aiming for in terms of a shopping experience. They have helpful and knowledgeable staff that will assist you as much as you’d like, since they know a lot more about strollers than first-time moms usually do! They’ll even supply new moms with an “essentials” list, of all the things that may be needed throughout pregnancy and baby’s first year. And, if they don’t carry a brand that you request, they’ll bring it in, especially for you!
Lusso Baby has had such an overwhelmingly positive response that they’re planning on opening more retail locations by the end of this year, making them truly the crème de la crème!
