Today, finally, Cain released the latest tweak of his plan — the creation of what he calls “opportunity zones.” According to Cain, these will be special zones placed in inner cities, and those who work or live in the zones will receive deductions from 999 (which otherwise wipes out all of the traditional tax deductions, including the Earned Income Tax credit, child deduction and the mortgage interest deduction).

On Wednesday’s episode of The Daily Show, comedian Larry Wilmore examined how race may play into a potential match-up between President Barack Obama and former pizza chain CEO Herman Cain.

Tables Turned: Bank Of America Pays Couple’s Legal Fees After Deputies Threaten To Foreclosure Bank And Take Assets

In Collier County, Florida, a pair of sheriff’s deputies turned the tables on the mega-bank.

A Bank of America branch there had improperly been involved in a foreclosure lawsuit against a local couple, yet the bank was refusing to pay the couple’s legal fees when it was found to be in the wrong.

So two sherrif’s deputies showed up at a Bank of America branch.

The deputies offered Bank of America a choice: Either the mega-bank pay the couple’s $2,534 legal fees, or they would foreclose on the branch and and seize all of its assets.

Bank of America decided to pay.
