Stampin' Chez Moi

I had the BEST day EVER today ~ my girlfriend came over at 10:15am and the creativity was flowing ~ my girlfriend made two amazing cards (should've taken a picture of us creating)...I love watching her create ~ out with the sketch she's wants to follow ~ a little tweak here and another there and there it is ~ another STUNNER...and yes, should have taken a picture ~ DUH!!!  Thanks for the best day my friend ~ I am blessed beyond words :-) and then I found a sweet sketch to follow, although it wasn't open any longer, but I was on a roll and lovin' the sketch and the card that I was CASing .... thanks for your amazing card LeAnne ... I hope you're okay with me using your card for inspiration ~ your card is absolutely stunning ~ love your creativity so much...so wonderful to see what you share! Well, I'm back again...and so excited to be creating a card and posting as well ~ hopefully this time I'll remember to link my card to the wonderful challenges that I've entered. My last post (which I was also SO excited about)...well...I forgot to link it the the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! I'd like to believe that it's a 'rusty' issue and not a 'duh' moment! Okay, let's not go there!!!! So here are the fabulous challenges that I'm entering this week ~ Ribbon Carousel , and the challenge was the theme for the month  Love is in the air... a new project   and ribbon (check, check, check) and then the challenge at  Sugar Creek Hollow #47  was  Vintage or Shabby Chic  cards and  ROMANTIC LOVE . Our garden of vegetables and flowers are singing a symphony of song!!! I was captured by the beauty of my flower garden as I strolled the yard this morning ~ it literally stopped me in my tracks ~ then I heard Dean say 'what are you thinking about honey?' ~ oh, nothing, just gazing at our flowers!!! We both stood there for awhile and just admired the handy work of the Lord! Oh how I wish my picture would do justice to this ~ in real life ~ it is absolutely stunning!! and now on to the sketch challenge from the gals at Stamping 411 ~ and I had so much fun incorporating  a flower into my card. I love creating flowers!!! and a bit of smooch and there you go!  oh what a fun card to create ~ and I did it again ~ I can't remember where I actually saw the tutorial for this flower (take  note  Denise, literally!) ~ I used three different Stampin' Up Flower Punches and it worked out fabulously ~  I sure hope you have time to play along with us this week ~ can't wai

Sketch Challenge #179 from Stamping 411 is absolutely fabulous ~ you should really play along with the designers! I had a blast this afternoon ~ I really needed a break from Christmas Cards, so I rolled up my sleeves, got the music going.....and got to work! I used Dimensionals to pop each of the panels on my card and heat embossed each with a copper EP, it's really difficult to see the effect, but IRL it's quite stunning! On the inside I stamped tone on tone, using Elements of Style and then stamped my Sentiment over it using Close To Cocoa. I received a beautiful card in the mail this week and LeAnne had done this on the inside of my card, wow, what a beautiful effect....so....note to self.....remember this and do it!  Who doesn't like Bling...I knew I needed to play along when I found this at  Pals Paper Art s and then found a sketch that I really wanted to create from Stampin 411 ~ so here are the two challenges that entered.   Be sure to pop by tomorrow and have a peek at a tag box that I created to hold Christmas Gift Tags ~ I'll be teaching that class in November ~ sure hope you can join in the fun! The bling on the flower, stem and leaves doesn't really show up well in this photo, but IRL it looks gorgeous and sparkles, sparkles, sparkles! I created this with an Anniversary Card in mind, but I think this would also make a stunning Wedding Card.
