I had the BEST day EVER today ~ my girlfriend came over at 10:15am and the creativity was flowing ~ my girlfriend made two amazing cards (should've taken a picture of us creating)...I love watching her create ~ out with the sketch she's wants to follow ~ a little tweak here and another there and there it is ~ another STUNNER...and yes, should have taken a picture ~ DUH!!!  Thanks for the best day my friend ~ I am blessed beyond words :-) and then I found a sweet sketch to follow, although it wasn't open any longer, but I was on a roll and lovin' the sketch and the card that I was CASing .... thanks for your amazing card LeAnne ... I hope you're okay with me using your card for inspiration ~ your card is absolutely stunning ~ love your creativity so much...so wonderful to see what you share! What a crazy week we've had...packed up my FIL...moved him down the hall to a one bedroom in the same building ~ but when I unpacked, I went through EVERYTHING, I purged, sorted, reboxed things for my SIL & BIL and then as I cleaned I put things away. We went over on Thursday evening and moved everything into the new suite, left a path for dad so he could get to the washroom...and then I came back at 8am on Friday morning...7pm....DONE!!! So now I'm on a roll ~ slowly stared in my craft room on Saturday evening, then after church and lunch, I went back in...today is a holiday for us, so by 8am I was back in here...5pm DONE!!! Every stone was turned over, dusted, put back or thrown away! WOW!!! Now it's tidy in here and I want to create a card for my Mother's Birthday...let's see how well I do with putting my toys away when I'm done! I do tend to explode when I create, I try not to...but just can't seem to get a handle on that. Do you explode acro

What a wonderful evening I've had ~ we seem to be running lately and then this fabulously quiet evening was ushered into my presence ~ oh, what to do??? so I ran downstairs into my studio and played! First I hunted for the challenges that I wanted to join, found those and then grabbed my two new dies from MFT that I ordered at Joan's Garden ! Oh what a beautiful evening ~ music playing and just a relaxing time of creativity....and I found myself thinking....this is what it feels like, and oh how I'm loving my time! So here are the two challenges ~ Mojo Monday and I went with the square version!  and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe ! and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe! Tangerine  . . .  Apricot  . . .  Mint So out came Tangerine Tango, Apricot Appeal & Green Galore...these colours were the closest that I could find to go along with this! And my card!!! I came across a challenge and I just loved what I saw! Pop in on the Paper Craft Crew , you'll really enjoy what you find here! When I saw the sketch, I thought I could use my new Framelits Die ~ and the colour combo was perfect for what I had in mind... so my starting point was my dress! Here's the challenge that was set before me  What a fun card to create ~ oh I had an absolute blast with some of my new toys..this Framelits Die is a must, as well as the 5/8" Flower Trim ~ I trimmed one of the rosettes off my stash, inked it up on my Daffodil Delight ink pad using a sponge dauber! Set it aside and created the rest of the card! I can't wait to play with this die again ~ I think I'll use some actual fabric next time ~ Here's a bit of a side shot of my card!
