Well, you should check out her illustrations! They are amazing! She is the sponsor for our Copic Creations Challenge today! Her website is Digital Pencil Too Or Mos' Digital Pencil.
She is giving away a store gift certificate for $20.00!!
I chose Mummu's bike to color for the challenge. We were to use any of our favorite colors/combinations. I love aqua AND my own bike is that color! I also love soft yellow. The skirt was trickier. I love green and orange but neither seemed like they would work, so Rose pink it is. (And, I do love pink, too!)
I wanted to contrast this active granny with a vintage card otherwise so I went to my K& Company pad of paper and found the perfect pattern! The card became 6" x 8" so I could show off the wonderful roses and aqua stripes! A little lace and one of my crocheted flowers, some ivory satin ribbon and I was all set.
You have until September 14 to join in this challenge with us! Please check the details on the Copic Creations Challenge blog linked above.
Colors I used:
Yellow: Y0000, Y21, YR21, YR24
Aqua: BG0000, BG10, Bg72
Rose: E93, R30, RV42, R32, R24, E53
(The pinks were just too bright. Don't forget when you don't want a bright color you can "tone it down" with a light grey or brown.)
Thanks for checking this out! Tomorrow I have another of Mo's illustrations to show you!
I'll be at work all day-can't wait to read what you think when I get home!

Lucky me!
Lucky me, I've got you!! My readers! Thanks for visiting! I'm afraid my card for today isn't my best, but it fits the season so I wanted to show it to you.
I got this Cosmo Cricket paper over the weekend. Then I colored Tilda to match it. So far, so good. When it came to layout, I was stuck! I figured the sentiment piece out this morning and thought I was home free! The I say the bare, lower right corner! Aaaack! I punched a swirl to fill it, but think I should use a flower, maybe? Anyway, I mad a "gem" with a punched circle and stickles. Hopefully, the eye travels from Tilda (love her!) to the sentiment, button and ribbon and can ignore the corner!

Here's another card with the same Tilda that I had never posted. Seems like a good day to do so. she is even colored with a green dress.
I colored Tilda's skin with a more Irish look (on the St Pat's card) E000, E01 and just a touch of E02. cheeks are still R20
Hair (the part of the card I like!) is E97, E17, E18, E39 and a touch of E47 I don't think you'd need all these, but I always start light and gradually add darker colors until I get what I want.
Greens are YG11, G14, G07 and G28.
I think this Tilda is very adaptable to the colors you want to use!
have a lucky (blessed!) day!

Retro Roses
Good morning! Well, back to work wasn't so bad, but was I tired last night!! This is a card I made over the weekend (when I had energy!).
This is actually a Magnolia stamp called Retro Roses. It is from the Summer 2008 Shabby Chic collection. This one is stamped on Hot Press water color paper and water colored. I'm not sure what black ink I used, but it was the WRONG one because I got some running when I used my reinkers to water color. Oh well, I like it anyway and maybe it's not too noticeable!
The paper is more of the new Graphic 45, Fashionista. I made a lot of shabby black cards this weekend. I decided to use Kiwi Kiss with this one for a different look.
I love the look when you leave the shape in the nestability and sponge. You get that nice, clean edge. Have you tried it yet?
Well, I have to get some photos emailed. I have had the privilege of designing for another company! The news will be out in a few days!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a good Tuesday!

Vintage Valentine!
Or I could call this "Rox to the Rescue!" I colored this Tilda with braid over the weekend, chose my papers and just couldn't get it to all work together. Today's sketch (SC212) gave me a plan and I think it worked. I love this Tilda with braid. I got mine from Magnolia-licious. I think she was from the holiday collection. I'm sorry I can't find her right now. If you're interested please email Diana at Magnolia.us@shaw.ca I know she will try to help. I think it's so great that when you color an image differently you can make it fit anything! I was going for a vintage look here. I just love the bg paper from Cosmo Cricket-it's from Wonderland (Christmas!). The brown dotted is the back of a gorgeous piece from Prima Marketing collection called Whisper.
Tilda is of course colored with my copics.
I used wonderful pink shades of R81, R83 and R85 for her clothes. I also put a few stickles on her wings. The sentiment is from SU!
I'm really pleased with this one Yes, ILM!) and hope you like it too!
I'm so happy to say that I heard from Sherri Thacker and she will be getting the Blog Candy soon! Thanks to my good friends offering good advice on how to reach my winner (and to those who offered to help by taking the candy off my hands!). Love you!
Have a great day!
