Circle Easel Belated card

Good morning, friends!
This is the first shape easel card I've ever made even though I've admired the ones other paper crafters have made for awhile now. It was fun and easy! I used #412 HUGO THE SNAIL available right now at Magnolia-licious! He's one of the adorable stamps in the Sweet Rainbow collection. He was awesome to color! Iused Purely Pomegranate and Certainly Celery as my guiding colors. His shell went a little more towards 'grape' than I intended.

I only stamped and colored one image, but I cut part of his shell to raise it on dimensionals and then glued the rest of him to the card base.

This is one of my favorite sentiments to use with snails (or turtles). It is an oldie from All that Scraps and it cracks me up every time I read it.

Well, I guess that's it for this terrific Tuesday! Hope yours is all you wish for!

Relax!

Hello, friends! I have a Whipper Snapper card today that I want to show you! This awesome image is Relax to the Max from Whipper Snapper designs. I loooove it! My friend, Lisa and I each bought when last time we were at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff! I will link her card when I get a chance, because she used some really great 3D techniques on hers. I just had time to color the one image, but I did curve it and use some dimension gel glue behind it.
I just love this chair!
I want someone to draw just a similar chair for some of my Tildas!

Anyway, I did keep the colors for a change and here they are:
chair BG10, Bg72 and BG11
Dog Y21, E30, E97, E99 and just a little of E15
Nose is E33, E25 and E29

I am madly in love with the new My Mind's Eye paper and this one (hands down!) is my favorite-Mabel! I've already bought 3 pads of it! I haven't seen this plaid in the 12" size thought :(

Okay, gotta run! Hope you've had a great week! The weekend is here again already!!
Thanks!! Cheryl

It's the Bestest Blog Hop!

Hi! This little mite, Angelina was my choice for favorite Mo image (this week!) to enter in our blog hop celebration! If you want to be sure you don't miss a thing you can start at Jak's Blog,
I know the other designers have worked so hard to show you something special! If you've come here from Kerttu, you're right on track! I ended up rushed due to other commitments, so put my all into the coloring and the rest of the card is quite simple. The ribbon is from a little bag of candy from one of my students for Valentine's Day! I save everything! Do you?
Okay, now you need to know that my letter is S
You may want to jot that down and then head over to Lisa Cook's blogto take a look at her fab creation and be sure to get her letter!
Once you've figured out the phrase you will email it directly to Mo at
party@mosdigitalpencil.com by Midnight on Friday! There are LOTS of prizes being given away!
I'm giving away this Angelina image ! Please leave a comment by Friday at noon and I will pick my winner using Random.org
I also have blog candy from yesterday's post if you care to comment before moving on.
thanks for visiting! Enjoy your day!

I Dunno...

This is an image from Mos' Digital Pencil entitle "I Dunno". I computer generated the sentiment (in a hurry) this morning. On the inside I will put "how I missed your birthday. Hope it was happy". I use belated birthday cards s lot!

Bella and Bronte are colored with my copics and this image didn't take long to do at all. It's printed quite small at about 3 inches tall so she fit well in the nestabilities and on this 5" square Gate fold card. I think I will add some sparkle to her skirt before mailing. It's tacked closed with one of those great little magnets. You can hide them under the dp and it works great!

This is a reminder that Mo's challenge team has posted their weekly challenge which is to make a
FANCY FOLD CARD. If you've been here before you know that I don't do really fancy stuff. I love the simple with the focus on coloring and paper. But they want you to know it only has to be a different fold from the traditional or you can get as fancy as you want!
Here's the link : Mo's Challenge Blog
Have a Bootiful day and thanks for all the great comments yesterday and always!
