Simply Thanks!

This weeks challenge at Stamp Something was to make a thank you card while casing one of Lauren’s cards. I chose this one. This is kind of hard for me because she has a very (and I mean very) clean and simple style. I admire this style of cards but have never done one. Here is my try.

Simpley Thanks!I changed my card a bit from Lauren’s but I think it foots the bill.

The paper is from a stack I bought yesterday made by Me & My Big Ideas. I love this stack; not only is it in my favorite colors but most of the die cuts can be used for card making. With most stacks, the die cuts would mostly be used for scrapbooking.

That’s it for tonight. I have to get to bed early (for me at least) because my Mom and sister are coming over to help me paint the deck tomorrow. Yay!!!

Blessings,

Christine

It's a gorgeous card, not sure I could have done so well as like you have not made a card like this before. I'll have to have ago now.

Your card is lovely - and you're painting a deck, my you're diverse in your talents! Have fun; )

For my part, I'm finishing 2 tissue cozies today and shipping one out that I sold. Then it's on to upgrading my DeStash site, re-writing my Faerie Tales and on and on. Yep, I do love to be productive. Talk to you soon, Have a great week,
