Pink Saturday

Two of my favorite things are pink and vintage 50s. I thought for today, I would share some vintage pink vases.

These are West Coast Pottery's swirl vases. They would be perfect in my kitchen which is decorated with a pink and turquoise 1950s vintage theme.

Isn't this pink poodle vase cute! My Chloe is a yorkie-poo so I have a soft spot for poodles. In the 50s pottery terms, they call the swirly hair stuff "spaghetti."

Isn't this pink cate the cutest? The little gold flowers on her cheeks, tail and paws are adorable (and classic 50s style)!

This is very typical of the kind of pink planter that would be sitting in a woman's kitchen window with a beautiful plant. Isn't it lovely?

What I wouldn't give for this beautiful McCoy Pink Hyacinth vase. Well, I do have a limit or I would have purchased it and it would be in my house!

I love the pink flamingo items from the 50s.

I think this is my favorite. I already have two of these little girl and boy vases, one in ivory and one in turquoise. I found the turquoise one at a thrift store and my Mother gave the the ivory one. She has had it since it was new!

This isn't actually my pink (I wish); I found all of the items on ebay.

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound hosts Pink Saturday every week. This is a very fun event. Each of us post a picture of something pink on our blog on Saturday and try to visit as many of the other blogs as possible. I'm not sure how many participate but it is in the hundreds. Big thanks to Beverly for coordinating all of it!

Happy Pink Saturday,

I am such a mid-century kind of person! I want my 1960 ranch back, sold it!, and I want it all decked out mid-century modern! Love your posted pics! Happy PS!
