The Stamp Fairy Challenge

Hello everyone! This week The Stamp Fairy Challenge Blog has a really fun challenge for this time of year - BACK TO SCHOOL!!! I personally don't want to think about Back to School, because that means my summer holidays are over & I have to go back to work! BOOOOO!!!! But for many parents, it means peace around the house!

Here is my card for this week:

I have used Lenny Back to School 5 The yellow paper was in my stash, for some reason I think it is Bazzill but not 100% sure! The DP is from DCWV called Grade School. He is coloured with Copics.

Unfortunately, it is not one of my best cards, I think my mojo has also taken a vacation - I can't seem to get it together!!! I hope it returns soon!!! UGH!!!!

Another Stamp Fairy release.......

The Stamp Fairy is releasing another new set this weekend.....GARDEN GOBLINS!!! AND, OMG, are they cute!!!!! Check em out!!!! They are great for Fall, Halloween, or any occasion, really, they are THAT cute!!!!!

Today is my 40th Birthday... OMG!!! I can't believe I'm saying that - I don't feel 40!!! I remember being a kid thinking 40 was SO OLD!!!! LMAO!!!! I had a great weekend, we went camping with my sister & her boyfriend and my cousin & her family! Weather was great, river was refreshing & the dogs are POOPED!!!!!

The Stamp Fairy....new release

Hi everyone! I know I'm reallllyyy behind, but this jet lag is killing me! Not sure what I can do to speed up the process of feeling human again! UGH!!!!

Anyway, on Monday, The Stamp Fairy released a new set of images that are SOOOOOOO cute!!!! Go check out GEORGE WINTERTIME! He is adorable!!!! NOT that I want to start thinking about winter, but he IS very very sweet!!! LOL

Here is my project for this weeks challenge - I made a bookmark for my Mom:

The Cardstock is Whispering White & Glossy White (SU) My image is from MAGNOLIA. You can get all of the Magnolia stamps, Magnolia Minis, paper and flowers at Simon Says Superstore The Copics that I used to colour it are also from Simon Says Stamp! The ribbon and letters are from my stash.

I have used MUFFINS SUMMERDAZE 5 - doesn't she look relaxed and comfy, ready to enjoy a day in the sun???





The paper I have used is Pretty in Pink (SU) and the DP is from my stash, and for the life of me, cannot find which pack it comes from - I think it is Paper Mania but not sure! She is coloured with Copics and the ribbon is from my stash.

I'm home!!!

G'Day Mates!!!! I am home from my vacation to Australia!!! I'm not even sure I can begin to describe the things I've done and seen in the 3 short weeks! It was definitely NOT enough to see the whole country, but I got a GREAT taste of what Oz has to offer!!! Well worth the long trip!!!! Here are a few pics until I get more off my camera!!! ENJOY!!!

The Stamp Fairy Challenge... Colour Throwdown - PURPLE, PINK and TURQUOISE

I have used LENNY BUBBLES - cute eh?? Go check them all out, Lenny is a sweetheart!!!

The paper I have used is Lavender Lace & Tempting Turquoise (SU) and the DP is from my stash......there are pinks in that paper, I promise!! LOL! He is coloured with Koh-i-noor pencils and Gamsol and the ribbon is from my stash. I added stickles to the bubbles to match the sparkly blue paper too! At first I didn't like this card, but the more I look at it, the more I like it!!! The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp exclusive set.

Karen's Doodles challenge - RECYCLE

This week's challenge at Karen's Doodles is to RECYCLE! Use something on your card or project that has had a use before this! I have used a button that was on one of my favourite shirts. I finally had to get rid of it, because it was so thin and frayed!! LOL BUT I kept the buttons!!!!

I coloured her with Copics. The CS is Pretty in Pink (SU) and the DP (TAC), ribbon, flowers, and button are from my stash. I have added stickles to her flip flops, her dress & her hat!
