Simon Says....

This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog is a fun sketch by our Guest Designer, Jay Jay! Head on over to the Challenge blog to see the sketch what the rest of the DT has created for you to drool over!!! The Design Team are also showcasing Sarah Kay stamps, which you can get at Simon Says Stamp - the one I used is called Fannie's Cuddle - such an adorable image!!! I used some designer paper from my scrap bin, and Yo Yo Yellow (SU!). The flowers are also from Simon Says Stamp, as is the sentiment.

Simon Says....Recipe time!!!

Here is my card for this challenge. I used a Sarah Kay image because the DT is showcasing Stampavie this week. Simon Says Stamp Superstore has a TON of GREAT Stampavie stamps available....super selection, go check it out!!!!

My 3 types of embellies are the little flowers, ribbon and an epoxy sticker. I coloured her with Copics and used 2 different DPs from SU!

Simon Says......Shabby Chic!

This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is SHABBY CHIC. While I'm not very good at creating shabby chic art on my own, I had to do some searching for some ideas. I'm still not 100% sure this IS shabby chic, but I tried!!! LOL

I used a Sarah Kay image called Spring Blossoms - available at Simon Says Stamp Superstore!!! The papers I used were from SU, but I can't remember the name of the pack. I added in a chocolate chip embossed piece on the side and distressed the edges of the papers. The flowers and rhinestones were all from my stash. I coloured her using Copics.

After looking at this picture I realize I need a ribbon iron - hmmm!!!!

Now, for this week's Friday Freebie, I am offering you a chance to win this Sarah Kay stamp - Time for Apple Pie. Isn't she cute??? I coloured her with my Koh-i-noor pencils & Gamsol. I used a journal that Heidi had sent me awhile ago & covered it with SU paper. I made a matching pen to go with it. I added some flowers and brads, a ribbon and a button and voila - plain ol' journal - TRANSFORMED!!! LOL
