Bonus Card Time, wahoo!!

Morning All,

Thank you for your comments on my Wedding card yesterday and for all of you keeping your fingers and toes crossed for me.  Sadly I got a 'thanks but no thanks' letter in the post yesterday  :o((  You know sometimes I wonder why I bother trying to get off 'square 1', I always end up back there again!  Very disappointed, *sigh*...

Here's my bonus card I sneakily managed to make this week.  It's actually a commissioned card for my God Mum for a little Boy named Marley who turned one yesterday...

A close up of Jolly Nation's 'Mealtime'...

And a side view...

Cute huh?  I hope she likes it, and of course Marley too!

Daemo is actually home today, he's been working loads of weekends so it's lovely to have him home.  There was talk of us going to Bluewater to the cinema to watch the Inbetweeners but we'll see what happens...

Have a great Sunday all and I'll see you tomorrow with my Pollycraft creation.

Much love,

Hi All,
And how is everyone? I am absolutely shattered, been soooooooo busy at work and having to do 10 hour days at the moment :o( No fun at all! Have managed to fit in a bit of card making though starting with this card, my Dad's 60th birthday card. I couldn't think what to make and knew it had to be a special card, then it came to me.....a scrap book card documenting Dad's life! I stuck two 8x8 inch cards together and decorated all 5 sides of the mammoth card - It took me the whole weekend to get all the stamps together but I'm soooooo happy with the result. Here's the first lot of piccies, I'll detail where I got everything from after each page!

Football Mad (shame it's Man Utd!)

Hi Everyone!
I hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday weekend, what a shame about the weather! Typical ay! I went to The Glitter Pot's Craft Extravaganza on Saturday although I spent most of my time in the shop rather than watching the demonstrations!! (My most favourite shop in the whole wide world!!) Still picked up some good tips though :o)
Onto my card. This one is a commissioned card from my God Mother for one of her friends who's mad on football but clearly has no taste as he supports Manchester United (boooooo!). I hope he likes it as it was very painful to make, lol! What do you think?...

The backing paper is My Mind's Eye Laundry Line 'Heirloom', the football paper is by Karen-Marie Klip and I made the Manchester United crest paper. They're all layered onto Core d'inations Raspberry card. The Happy Birthday sentiment is Craftwork Cards Oh My Words! and I've also added Carftwork Cards Craft Candy in the Man Utd colours of Red, White and Black. The sentiment on the inside of the card is by Elzybells and I've added some Glamour Dust too.
I'm going to enter this card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog, Sketch #41.
I've made a few more cards this weekend so will be back over the next couple of days to share them with you. Just a quick post today as we're off to spend the day with our Nephews, Neice and Daemo's Sister, Brother-In-Law and Dad. Hope the weather brightens up so we can get out in the garden for some cricket! I think it might be a Wii day though, lol!
See you all soon,
Lots of love

Christmas Kisses MWAH!

Evening All!
I hope I find you all well on this wet and windy night. I've just got in from Netball, been scoring games tonight and I got very wet and cold so now I'm curled up in the warm in bed, lovely! I'm very late posting this card (only by about a month, lol!) but I just had to share it with you. I made it for Daemo and wanted to enter the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog with it, but obviously didn't get around to that part! Anyway, thought I'd share it with you...
Close up of Tilda, coloured with copic ciao markers. I've added some pearls as the mistletoe and some glamour dust around the edge of the nestie...

Jolly Nation Box Christmas Cards

Here's the next batch of cards I've made, Jolly Nation Box Cards. I made these for my Nephews and Niece. I wanted to make them something different and special, as they are very special to me and my Hubby. I gave them to the kids last night (we were on baby sitting duties, lol!) and they loved them! Maisy (who's only 3, aaawwwwww) wanted to put her card on the Christmas Tree! Archie (who's 7) has kept his card in his bedroom and Henry (who's 12) said it was the coolest card he's ever seen!! High praise indeed, what am I going to do next year?! Here's the cards...
This is Henry's card
This is Maisy's Card, she absolutely loves cats!

and this is Archie's card. I'm not sure for how much longer he will believe in Santa, he probably does when s big brother isn't around, lol!

Shop-A-Holic Birthday Card

And here we are with the final card I'm posting today. Now we're all up to date, for the moment anyway but I have more to make, lol!
This was another commissioned card by my God Mum for a friend of hers who lives in America. The brief was shop-a-holic and I couldn't think of a better image than this Jolly Nation Shopper Lady. I haven't done any decoupage for ages either so this made a nice change, although I did miss not using my copics, lol! What do you think?

Fitness Man

Here we are then with the second birthday card I made this weekend. This time it's for a friend of mine at work, who goes to the gym every lunch hour, hence it's Jolly Nation's 'Fitness Man'. What do you think?

Card Ingredients are:

Image - Jolly Nation 'Fitness Man' Decoupage sheet

Papers - Sandy Lion 'Upper Deck' and 'Cruise Director'

Card - Core 'dinations 'Raspberry' and The Paper Company 'White Ice' Shimmer card

Sentiment - Oh My Word! 'Birthday Circles'

Tools - Woodware Big Circle Punch and Regular Corner Rounder, Fine Liner

I used the same papers for this and the aeroplane card as the colours worked with both images. I wanted to make them a little different though so I switched them around for each card.

Now onto the third card...
