Wot, no Copics?!!

Afternoon!

 

Super quick post from me today, just sneaking in before I go to pick up Big Boy from school!  Today's card is for my Brother-In-Law who turns 40 on Sunday and, as the post title suggests, something a bit different for me.....no coloured image and no copics in sight, dun, dun, duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!  What do you think?

 

 

 

 

Very easy to make and very quick too, perfect for the 'rushed off her feet Mum' lol!

 

 

 

There is a load of glamour dust around each star and the 40 is also coloured in with it, it's just not showing in the pictures, must be the lack of light and sun, again lol!

Meet GORGEOUS!!

Morning All!

I can't believe I've not posted anything since Monday, so naughty!!  But today you're in for a real treat as I introduce you to 'GORGEOUS'...

Isn't he just totally, well, gorgeous!  He's new over at Pollycraft and he's free, yes that's right FREE until 29th July!  So head over and grab him while you can, he's a pleasure to colour and a real treat for the eyes!!  I've used him on my card today which I made for Hubby's best mate who's 40 next Friday.  'Gorgeous' is having a 'Monster Party' to celebrate this special event.....I'll warn you, you may need your sunglasses, lol!...

This is a Craftwork Cards 8 x 8 card base so all the monsters are quite big IRL.  There's also loads of glamour dust on it too, but it doesn't show up very well in the piccie does it!

I've been busy making cards behind the scenes which I'll share over the coming week.  I also got a call about the job that I had the telephone interview for.....I've got a proper interview and test on Monday YIKES!!  I'm sooooo nervous already and can't stop thinking about it, it's only a job interview and I need to get it into perspective I know.....but I'm totally bricking it!!  It's in Tunbridge Wells which is just under 20 miles from me so I popped over there on Wednesday with my Sister-In-Law to do a reccy and find the office, it didn't really help my nerves but at least I know where I'm going now lol!  It's crazy getting so nervous I know, as Hubby said, you're interviewing them too!  I mean, the worst that can happen is I don't get the job right?  :o(  GET OVER IT CAZZA lol!!

Wow 2011 - can someone tell me what happened to 2010 as one minute it was here and then it was gone, lol!!  God I'm getting sooooooooo old, lol!!

I hope you all had a fab New Year's Eve, whatever you were doing?  We went to our best friend's for chinese take-away and drinks - suffice to say this is a scheduled post as I'm probably either a) still tucked up asleep or b) not able to move my pounding head yet, lol!!  I'm sure I'm not alone ;o)
