Sketch Saturday and another LOTV for Daddy!

Morning All,

Happy Saturday wahooooo!!  I hope you all have something nice planned this weekend?  The weather here in Kent isn't too bad at the moment, no rain at least but I think that's changing later and tomorrow looks like a complete wash out!!  Oh well, better stay in and craft then ay, lol!

I had a bit of a busy day yesterday and was back at A&E this time with my nephew who fell off his BMX on Wednesday night and has a massively swollen wrist with no movement at all (hmmmm, sounds familiar!!).  My poor Sis-In-Law couldn't take him as she was in the fracture clinic with his brother who fell off his scooter last Saturday and has broken his little finger bone on the top of his hand!  She's had a right old week!  :o(  Luckily no casts were needed and my Nephew has just badly sprained his wrist and should get movement back soon.  What a day but all ended well with yummy take-away  :o)

My card today is another Fathers Day one, this one is for Hubby's Step-Dad.  I've decided to give last weeks one to Hubby's Dad and my Dad's one I'll probably post tomorrow, it's all confusing isn't it!  But anyway, back to today's card and it's another LOTV Bear!  Just had to use this cute guy, perfect for Fathers Day.  What do you think?...

Ok that's it from me today, I have a few cards to be cracking on with as we're away for 3 nights next week in the Isle of Wight so I need to get ahead.  Really looking forward to our little break, lets hope it stops raining by then!!

Much love,

One done, two to go...

Hiya!

Apologies for the late post, I thought I'd scheduled this one but obviously didn't lol!  We had some decking laid in the back garden so I've got the green fingered bug at the moment!  I got up early to wait for some new tea light lanterns I bought from eBay to be delivered and then went to the garden centre to get some more plants for more pots - told you I've got the bug, lol!  A few years ago (before I got into card making!) I used to be out in the garden every spare minute pruning and planting and dead heading (Alan Titchmarsh was my absolute hero!) but I guess I got busier and had less and less time for my garden  :o(  Now with the decking laid the garden is a lot more low maintenance so I can get back into it without spending hours working, happy days!  Hubby is away racing this weekend so my plan is to try and get all the plants bought and planted (with the help of my Dad as I can't actually dig the holes yet, possibly an upside to recovering from a broken wrist?!) before he gets home.  That way he can't moan at how much money I've spent!.....well I guess he can moan but I can't take the plants back he he he!  So that's why I'm late, been potting!  :o)

Onto my card and this is one of the 3 Fathers Day cards I need to make ~ one for my Dad, one for Hubby's Dad and one for Hubby's Step Dad - all very confusing ay!  I did make this one for my Dad, but since we've been doing all the gardening I found a Wild Rose Studio Gardening Man stamp so I think I might make him another card using that stamp instead...

Close up of LOTV's Armchair Bear...

I've decorated the inside (less the embellishments) the same as the front...

And a side view...

This week over at Sketch Saturday it's the turn of my teamie Jeanette to host and create the sketch, what a fab sketch it is too!...

And this week we're sponsored by...

My Favourite Things Stamps who have donated $25.00 Gift Voucher to spend in their store, fab-a-roony!!  Look forward to seeing you playing along too  :o)

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday lovely people and I'll see you soon, I'll be catching up with all your blogs later :o)
